“Ari is simply awesome! My dog stays with my parents when I have to work and my mom says my dog gets soooo excited once she sees Ari’s car pull up. Just as excited as when we pulll up. Makes me so happy and at ease that my dog is getting her needs met when away”

About: 7 years ago we rescued the best boy! This started my journey of fostering and learning more about animal rescues and how to get involved. I’ve volunteered at a animal rescue where I worked in their doggy daycare and worked with small and large dogs, as well as fostering puppies and helping with the cat room. I also have experience with dogs with special needs, and lots of patience! I’m currently working part time and my job is extremely flexible, I’m a early riser and available for early morning walks or home checks! Rain or shine I’m out walking! If I am dropping in for a pet visit in your home I will be respectful of your home and your pets needs. If I am walking your dog I will be safe, reliable, and follow any special instructions you may have or the pets temperament on walks

“Rachel is wonderful. A true dog lover. She shows a lot of love for my dog and really knows how to read his mood. Billy loves his walks with Rachel! I think he likes her better than me actually. I love her reports about their walks.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 and have experience with all different kinds of breeds, sizes, and personalities. Currently my family owns two huskies, a German Shepherd/Border Collie Mix, and a German Shepherd/Pit Mix! Beyond my own pups, I regularly dog sit for six amazing families and truly treat each pet like they’re part of my own pack. I’ve also had the joy of caring for horses, cows, goats, and chickens, so I’m very comfortable around all types of animals and their unique needs. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for! I’m starting a fully online master’s program in social work, which means I’ll have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a clients home, my top priority is making sure that your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved in their own space. I follow your care instructions closely and do my best to keep their daily routine consistent to reduce stress. I also respect your home as if it was my own- cleaning up after myself (and your pet!), keeping things tidy and making sure your pets feels at easy while you’re gone. I always send regular updates and photos so you can see how they’re doing and have peace of mind.

About: I've been a pet lover since I was a kid. I started with frogs, lizards and snakes, and graduated to cats and dogs. Until I was able to have dogs of my own, I spent over 10 years pet-sitting for friends and family, volunteering in animal shelters, and have even worked in 2 seperate doggy daycares. My MO is always long walks and lots of attention. I have 2 dogs of my own, a cumulative 17 years of pet raising experience. I have experience caring for sick pets and administering medication both orally and subcutaneously. I've had my pups since they were young and would consider them very well trained. If you're looking to work on certain behaviors, I can absolutely work on that during their stay. I have a fenced yard, a safe neighborhood for long walks, and for longer stays, expect your dog to enjoy a nice hike! I mostly work from home, so your dog(s) would never be alone and would have access to my fully fenced backyard whenever they want. During the week, I can do a long walk during my lunch break, and another after work. Weekends I tend to go hiking, so if your pup enjoys nature, they will for sure have a great time. My yard is fully fenced, and I have 2 friendly dogs. Safety is paramount, so dogs would be supervised while in the yard together. If your dog requires a crate, I have both a plastic and soft sided kennel for indoors.

About: Few people love animals as much as I do (I am constantly, endearingly, reminded that I'm the crazy dog/cat lady, lol)! I've had them my entire life and not only do I volunteer with a local rescue, but I hope to someday open my own ❤️ Until then, I've been actively pet-sitting for years, just now joining Rover. I guarantee walks and pics every day, am experienced with medication distribution, special diets and specialized needs such as high anxiety, aggressive, high energy and more. I live on 5 acres, have a fenced backyard, two extremely large dog runs and two outdoor kennels with attached dog houses, which we call our "doggy hotels", for lots of play and outdoor time (not for sleeping in...they sleep in the home 🥰), when weather permits. I've worked in the law enforcement family for the last 17 years and am now fortunate to work from home, so your pup will rarely be alone. Any questions? Please do not hesitate to ask!! Schedule wise, I work from home guaranteeing lots of attention! Working Dave Ramsey's baby steps right now...so no vacations on the horizon!! I also live a very active lifestyle, so I'm committed to keeping your pups active, if desired ♡ I work hard to ask the right questions to ensure your expectations are not only met, but exceeded. Like us humans, every animal is different and I will be sure to adjust to whatever your animal needs to feel safe and secure, whether in your home or mine ♡

About: I have a deep well of patience, understanding and affection for your pet. When I am interacting with a dog or cat, they recieve my sole and loving attention. I can't wait to meet yours! I am a retired teacher so I have a lot of management skills and am supremely responsible. I am a retired teacher so I have a ton of time. I am moving from managing teen agers to having loving interactions with pets. I am a single woman in my 50's with no pets of my own, so I am very available to care for your animals. Since I have been back in the USA after teaching overseas for years, I have taken care of and house sat for many people who were pleased with my services. I would love to get to know your animals and make them feel safe and secure while you are gone!

“Maycee has sat for us twice now and takes great care of our large shepherd mix. Grateful for her attention to detail and punctuality! Veda always seems happy and relaxed after a visit with Maycee.”

About: I am working with my partner wanting to help those with their children that need help. We have 2 beautiful little girls, one 4 year old Chihuahua and one 5 year old beagle lab mix. While I'm out working my partner is at home and we would be taking care of your babies together. We also have a 6 year old son that adores playing with the dogs. We are more than willing to answer any other questions, as needed. I can take care of babies any time if the day, I am currently sharing my time with 3 fur babies and my son. I am currently looking for work so I have all day availability. We work with the clients and their babies needs there are 2 of us that would be helping your babies get all the love and attention they would need. We would just need to know any dietary restrictions and allergies they may have to make them feel right at home with us. XD

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs since I could remember! I’ve never known life without a furry companion by my side and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am a nurse by day trying to cure my burnout by caring for your furry friends! I am an excellent communicator and I will keep you informed every step of the day. I just moved to the area with my two Australian Shepards and a cat. My schedule is completely open right now and I’d love to take your furry friend on an adventure while we explore our new neighborhood! I have a fenced in backyard that backs up to nature trails. We have pet cameras so we can always keep a watchful eye on the animals and we love walking around and exploring new areas! I can really provide whatever environment your dog/cat will do best in!

About: My Mom and I have a Multipoo, we adopted her last year and I just love her! I'm a proud Auntie to Gator (German Shepherd.) I've been a dog-lover since I was a child, I had a toy poodle for 17 years who passed away peacefully back in 2013. I have experience walking, playing, bathing, loving, and administering medication to dogs with special needs or at advanced age. I have experience caring for a well-fed chocolate lab while house sitting for a family friend for up to a week at a time, as well as a one year old mastif who had a special diet and needed his jowls wiped. I have also cared for my sister's rescue boston terrier who has experienced trauma. I'm a gentle person with a calm demeanour who loves to take pups for walks, and can command with a firm tone if needed. I can drop by most evenings and weekends, sometimes do overnight care if available. Currently I am going to grad school and I have a part-time schedule in the summer. I would prefer to only provide care for your animals in your home, I will always do my best to make it a safe environment and situation for all. I'm in grad school and also work in the schools, looking for a part-time job this summer, schedule will be more finalized in late June! I can't have other animals in my home and would not bring my dog to your place. However I take care of the spaces I am in and treat them with respect.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been part of our family. I’ve had experience caring for family pets, dog sitting for friends, and cat sitting for my professors. Getting a dog as an adult has completely changed the game for me and I’ve gone full-blown dog mom mode. This has allowed me to become very attentive to specific needs and expectations for pets and their owners! I am recently graduated and looking for something to occupy my time while I job hunt! Since I’m actively job searching, my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available most weekdays between 10am-7pm and occasionally weekends :) My priority is to make your pets as comfortable as possible while you’re away and ensure that their needs are being met. No request is too specific! As a dog mom, I know we follow specific rituals, schedules, or feeding requests to keep our pets comfy :) I am always willing to accommodate to them, just let me know!

“There is no better or more caring person to watch your dogs and cats than Sheila. She has owned a dog for the last 25+ years ranging from a black lab, 2 doxins, and a pit bull. She has worked for a number of years in a rescue shelter working with dogs and fostering as well. She has a lot of experience training dogs and will even make dog treats and food for dogs. “Deidre is an exceptional pet caregiver! She has taken care of my dog, Sam — a very high-energy pointer — with so much love, patience, and attention over the years. Sam absolutely adores spending time with her and her friendly pups. It gives me great peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. What really sets Deidre apart is how thoughtful and intentional she is with all animals in her care. Belmore dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lauren was wonderful with our dog Millie. We had her come a couple times a week prior to our trip to get to know Millie and it worked out great. Lauren communicated very well. She was on time for every walk and followed instructions as there were a couple changes along the way. Gave daily reports and pics which helped. Thank you Lauren for being so great with our fur baby

I am so appreciative of Rachel, she is fantastic with my ball of energy and gives wonderful updates, I always love reading them and seeing pictures. I have peace of mind knowing that my pup is taken care of so I can focus while I'm away from home. Thanks so much!!!!!!!
