âI needed somewhere for my dog, Georgie, to stay while I went to the Penn State game. Mariah was very responsive and her whole family took great care of him. I would book againâ

About: I have two pups of my own, a shitzu and boxer. My house is dog friendly and your pup will become one of the family over their stay with us. Treats, walks, and belly rubs for all. I work a full time job but am off all weekends. I am happy to host your animals Friday-Sunday. Optional weekdays possible after discussion on care. I own a house in town with a privacy fence in my back yard. Dogs are allowed to free roam the house while I am there, unless otherwise instructed.
âTess and Curt helped me out in a pinch when I had to go out of town last minute. They responded promptly and the details were all coordinated very quickly. They are very friendly and have a lovely outdoor space for the pups to run around in. I got lots of pictures throughout Wendy's stay which I really appreciated!â

âEmily was extremely helpful and responsive. Not only did she make us all (family and Coco) comfortable by providing a tour and meet & greet, but during the time she was watching our dog, she sent updates and photos regularly. This was so helpful as we have 2 children who missed their little furry friend!â

âGreat pet sitter! Madalynn was super responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. My dog had immediate access to her backyard and seemed very comfortable in her house. My dog came back very happy and tired after lots of fun playtime with Madalynns dogs. I also appreciate the thoughtful reporting on how much my dog ate, etc. Super pleased and would definitely recommend.â

âPerfect - Really! - sitting experience (5 days) for my very active dog. Communication with Marlina was great, wonderful location for many walks, and cozy, friendly home and personal care for my little girl. Trust was easy after my pre-visit. All went smooth and flexible, and Skye came home fully refreshed and happy - much better than kennels lately. Look forward to using Marlina again. Kind of tripped into Rover online having never imagined trusting an online sitter/site for my dog. Marlina was a great representative for Rover. Thank You!â

âMichael and Melanie were so wonderful and I would absolutely recommend them! They took amazing care of my high energy dog (border collie), taking her on many hikes and other adventures. They also sent me lots of pictures and communicated well!â

About: I was a care worker for most of life and had a career change at 25. I have done my share of taking care of the elder and animals. I have taken care of my own animals and others over my life time. I'm back in the Altoona area after the military. I was also known as the "crazy cat lady" during my most recent military deployment to the Middle East. I helped take care of the feral cats around camp by reporting new cats and taking care of one particular. I am a full-time student and am available after 5 pm and weekends. I update my schedule regularly for days I will not be available. I have a cat with chronic UTIs. I spend the extra time and money to make sure she is taken care of so I will make sure your animals receive the same care and love she does.
About: I used to run my own successful pet sitting business out of the Hollidaysburg veterinary clinic with the help of Dr. Kendra. I had many happy, recurring clients and really enjoyed working with local families and their pets. I have experience working with all types and sizes of animals (as well as personalities). I currently own 3 German Shepherds, 3 cats and 3 parrots. I look forward to meeting your family and fur babies! I currently work full time but Iâm available anytime time on my off days and both before and after work on any other day. I can stay overnight at your home or stop in through the day, depending on your needs. Iâm also available for dog walking or other care services such as bathing. I am available for overnight and drop in services as well as pet care services such as walking and bathing. I am very flexible and willing to work with all types of clients in all types of situations.
About: I have 10 years experience with every type of animal from puppies, cats to horses reptiles and birds. I also have experience with dog training. I currently work full time but my job is very flexible with breaks, so your furry friend will get all of the attention that they require! I believe in utilizing all of the space available to provide the most optimal experience for the pet and for the family returning back home
About: I have experience working at a doggy daycare and friends and family have trusted me in the past to watch their animals while on vacation worry-free! I would be honored if you chose me to take care of your furry friends! Iâm currently a senior at Penn State, but my schedule for the spring and my final semester allows me to be at home for a good majority of the day. The most I would be gone is 3-5 hours tops. I would also like to note that I will only be in the State College area until early May, as I am graduating and will be moving back home to Harrisburg. Apologies if this inconveniences anyone! I do not have a fenced in yard, but my apartment complex has a fenced in area for dogs to run around, and I am willing to take them on walks as needed. It is preferable that they would be able to go in a crate when Iâm not home, but if they are fine to wander around on their own and they have not had any problems, then that is fine as well.
âMy dogs had a great time with Michelle and her family! I received lots of photos and updates. Even my super nervous girl was settling into her home just fineâĽď¸â

About: I have loved all animals my whole life. When I was little I wanted to be a vet or work at a zoo. I have had many pets since I was little, cats, dogs, rabbits, and a chinchilla. I currently have a cat, two dogs, and chickens. There are not any animals I don't enjoy taking care of. Our pups we have now are very well trained. And we are very familiar with all ages and stages of dogs. Our current two are 8 months old and 10 years old. We lost our pup of 11 1/2 years in March. We also had to have washable diapers on her for a time before she had passed. So all ages we have had over this year. And love all the ages. I currently work full time, Monday- Friday. I would be able to take care of them before work and after. I am off every weekend and would be available anytime I do have a small fenced in area if needed in my yard. But we live on a dead end dirt road with an acre of ground for pups to run and play. Our dogs are very well trained off of leashes but we can put our clients dogs on a leash to be sure they are safe. For clients home I would follow however they care for their pets and their preferences.
âKatie was great with boarding my dog Cara! She sent lots of updates with pictures and was very easy to keep in contact as well. She was extremely understanding and flexible when picking up/ dropping off Cara. Cara had a great time staying here, would definitely repeat.â

About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. They are the joy of my life especially since the kids (and grand dogs) have grown and moved. Couldnât imagine life without them. I have two dogs and 2 cats to keep the fur guests company. Lots of play time in the fenced back yard. And snuggles on the couch.
âAmber is truly a dog lover. Her children also love dogs and keep them entertained. We are so glad we crossed paths with her because our dogs never had a dull moment and were entertained the whole time. Amber kept us updated the whole time and sent lots of pictures. We highly recommend using her!â
âWe had our senior dog, Teddy, with Bex for three days while we were out of town. She and her family were so welcoming and attentive to our dog! It was a great overnight experience, and we will definitely use Bex again as our sitter! She was awesome!â

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have experience taking care of dogs for over 40 years. I have over 30 years experience teaching kindergarten puppy classes. I have successfully trained and showed my dogs in competition obedience and flyball. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and am happy to care for yours. My own dogs at times have had to have medications and special exercise programs after a surgery. My experience also includes teaching people with service dogs how to use their dog after being placed in the home. Unfortunately, I am unable to care for cats. I am home most of the time so caring for a pet that needs frequent bathroom breaks or is on medication is not a problem. I live with my husband and three dogs. Our home is set up so that dogs can be separated. When I keep another dog, my dogs are typically kept separate from that dog. We have a fenced yard and I go out with the dogs. I walk them on a leash until they get used to the area, but will continue to walk them on lead if you choose to have me do that. If you wish your pet to have walks in the neighborhood, I will do that too.

âDiesel had a great getting to play with David's two Shepards and a Burmese Mountain dog. He was very easy to communicate with and took awesome care of my pup. Will definitely use again in the future.â

âThis is our second time using Brooke and I couldnât recommend her more! She took great care of our 13 year old dog, sends lots of photo updates and is so responsive. Thank you Brooke!â
