“She arrived a little early so we could go over Ollie’s routine and instructions, which I really appreciated. She was also very friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She followed instructions, such as giving Ollie his enrichment toy and taking him outside. During the visit, there was an accident in the playpen that was not communicated to me and wasn’t fully cleaned up, and I also noticed Ollie’s water dish was empty. I appreciated her kindness and willingness to help, but I would have liked clearer communication about how the visit went. That said, she was good with Ollie and he really liked her.”

About: I have been housesitting and pet sitting for about 6 years now. I love dogs and I have one of my own! I am a very active person so I enjoy going on walks and playing with dogs. When I was about 12 I started to train CCI dogs and I love it so much! I have trained 4 dogs already. I am very familiar with giving pets medication if needed. I love being able to care for others pets because of how much I love my own. I want to provide you with the most thoughtful and loving care to your pets! I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your pups! I do have some school obligations but those are also only two days a week for minimal hours. Unfortunately I am not able to host pups in my own home but I will gladly ensure the upmost safety and trust in your own home!

Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having! I’m hoping to make Rover a full-time career! Although I'm unable to watch your pups at my home, I'll make sure they're safe at yours! I make sure I understand the pups needs, routine, and any specific care instructions provided by you, the owner. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, ensuring their environment is safe and clean, exercising them, and administering medications or treatments if required.

About: I've walked dogs, as well as watched them while the owners were away since I was little. I don't currently own any larger animals, but I have always handled them. Any dog wouldn't be an issue I currently could fill pretty much any need! I have a few hours of every day that I am busy, but I can be available pretty much anytime! I have an unfenced in yard that I would keep the dog leashed within, but I also know many of the dog friendly hiking trails within the Altoona area. I would be will to do whatever your most comfortable with!

About: I graduated from Vet Tech Institute in 2022 were I earned my Associates in Specialized Veterinary Technology Degree, I then went along and obtained my Certified Veterinary Technician License where I am actively working in a small animal and exotics practice. I am CPR certified in pets as well as having updated training in Fear Free practices. My passion is helping pet's get the best out of their lives and helping their families take the best possible care for them. I'm currently working full time hours on a 4 day on and 3 day off contract, I am at your service Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays! I know every pets needs vary and I will happily cater for their needs whether it's scheduled feedings, medications, crating, enrichment activities, brushing, daily walks, etc.

About: I'm an Emergency Veterinary Technician with over 10 years experience in the field. I can provide care for pets with medical needs, as well as normal daily needs. I am currently available every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays every week at any time. I do work full time Sunday-Tuesday at a ER veterinary hospital. Pet care will be based off of the animals needs. Leash walking to ensure their safety. Playful activities to get their energy out. Medications can be given if needed.
