About: I have enjoyed taking care of our household pets since I was young. I have experience walking and working with dogs of various sizes. I’ve worked as a volunteer animal handler for Eagle's Den Animal Haven & Rescue, where I worked with puppies and abused animals to get them socialized, leash trained, and comfortable with people. I also have experience doing long-distance animal transport through volunteer work with Wheels4Paws and a job with New Start Animal Transport. Through all of this, I have found a passion for working with animals and I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I'm currently working part-time in the evenings. My normal start time for that job is 5:30pm. So, I'm available most days from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and late evenings after work when house/pet sitting. I try to maintain the same kind of care and routine that you have gotten your pet accustomed to. This includes sleeping arrangements, diet, feeding times, play times, and walks.

About: My family has been breeding dashounds since I was young so I’ve got experience nursing animals back to health, some including: baby squirrels, goats and a pig! I’ve also had experience breeding Persian kittens/blue tick coon dogs and nursed them since birth! I’ve worked on farms with horses, donkeys and turkeys, I’m well experienced with farm animals as well as reptiles. I’ve owned snakes, bearded dragons and spiders! I also have done volunteer work at my vet, whose a friend that I have on call just in case, if any accidents were to ever happen! Your animals are always safe and happy with me :) I do not watch different sitters animals together even if there friendly, I’ve just realized that animals can already be a little stressed out in a different environment and having to meet a stranger animal at the same time as having to deal with trusting me as a stranger just seems to stressful; so I don’t book multiples. I love snuggles so dogs on the beds and couches are fine with me! I have a teenage daughter who plays softball and loves to play with pups in the backyard, she’s figured out how to use them for her benefit by having them retrieve the balls for her while she’s practicing! We also have a park close by that I could take them to if they aren’t satisfied with the backyard. I treat all animals like they are my own and might overload you with pictures and videos of there time with me! Also, please let me know if any dogs ever have allergies because I’ve learned to earn most animals trust with treats! (I make my own organic treats usually mixing a blend of the extracts from juicing of celery, carrots, beets and sometimes fresh deer meat)! I have always had a passion for animals, I have a lot of experience fostering pets so I know how to make an uncomfortable doggy super comfortable. I am home full time except twice a week for an hour and a half at softball practice, but if the animals I’m babysitting are friendly they get to come along for the ride and get lots of petting sessions. I also have experience training duck dogs and deer dogs and can maybe teach them a few tricks while there here. No matter big or small I love to treat pets like babies, they are so dependent on people that it’s up to us as humans to give them the best care! I’ve also got experience grooming so if you ever need there nails trimmed up or a good bath/brush out just let me know and I’ll take care of it! I work remote and going to school for nursing so I am open/home almost any time and day! I can do overnight sitting as well as day time house visits! I love having them at my house but it’s no issue if there more comfortable in there own environment I live in castle hayne with a fenced in backyard and plenty of land and room for animals to play and exercise! I also have a horse ferrier and close vet friend who are always one call away with any medicines or help I need! I go bike riding and walking so it’s never an issue to bring any animals with me if they need to be walked or get some energy out! I do not mind pets on the couch either! If needed I also am very experienced with grooming and have all the tools and necessities needed, just give me a heads up and it’s no problem to trim nails or have bath times!

“First time using this app/service. Kimberly did great! She communicated a lot before, during and after. She was also able to help on fairly short notice (1 day) so I am super grateful for that. Really glad I decided to use this app and Kimberly!”

About: I've been an animal lover for all of my life, and grew up with pets of all kinds. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all life stages, as well as other animals like guinea pigs, chickens, and more. I currently have a very flexible schedule so I am available to give my full attention to your pets for whatever they need, be that walks, play time, baths, or just lots of cuddles! I am available 6am- 10pm most days, and available on Wednesdays and Fridays 6am- 5pm. While caring for your pet, safety is my top priority, so I like to limit interactions with other animals that I am unfamiliar with how they interact, and keep the pets environment clean and safe. Additionally, I like to maintain your pets regular routine and stay attuned to their needs, weather it be feeding, brushing, exercise, companionship, or whatever else may arise, to keep your furry friend happy and your mind at ease while you are away.

“Once again, she did a fantastic job. She walks my dog and even when my family goes to walk him our cat Willow hides from everyone. Only one time from her and Willow was cuddling on her lap! It was a comforting sign🖤 Cash was beautifully taken care of and we were very happy!”

About: Farm raised & veteran first responder. I’ve worked with working, energetic, reactive, calm, and aggressive dogs. All personalities welcome, please don’t hesitate to reach out! After 10 years of being a first responder, I’ve decided to pursue my dream of working with animals full time. My passion is here. I am available 24-7 depending on my current clients. I’m a dog mom to two german shepherds, a Belgian Malinois, a Labrador, and a Dachshund Morkie cross (he’s the boss, small but mighty). I have a small farm with goats, pigs, ducks and chickens. My shepherds and Malinois have been trained for flock protection, and boy do they love their job. I’ve always had a natural instinct with animals, they are a light in my life. I am willing to work with challenging pets, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. Let me bring you some peace of mind that your companion is in good company.

About: I have cared for and owned cats my whole life, and I have had a dog for about 4 years now. I have fed, walked and bathed dogs and cats. As well as dog and cat sat for friends, family, and neighbors. Since I only do part time online school currently, morning and afternoon walks are no issue for me! I love getting outside and playing with furry friends! Safety is no issue, if you have any specific wants or needs I’m more than happy to comply, any triggers your doggo has just let me know beforehand!

About: I have a fairly large background in animal care, it has always been a passion of mine - specifically dogs & horses. I take pride in how well I care for animals. I do not have a fenced yard yet but the dogs will be strictly supervised on a leash when outside of my home. I have 1.2 acres and a great neighborhood for walks. I will gladly work on in home manners with your dog/s while in my care as I believe training should be daily and enjoyable! I work part time and also own a photography business so my schedule is pretty flexible for dog sitting. I do this primarily cause my dog loves to have a friend over and since we are out in the country there are not too many other dogs for her to play with nearby. - Dogs are ALWAYS supervised and on a leash when outside of my house. - Dogs must be up to date on all shots. - Dogs are to be crated when my direct attention is not on them or if I need to go run a quick errand. This is never for longer than 2 hours. I have two large crates. - Dogs are crated at bed time. Usually around 9pm-7am. This may vary depending on dog's usual schedule. - Dogs have daily individualized walks. - I will help instill everyday manners & any sort of training help you may need. - Of course treats & cuddles daily! - I have a TON of references, you may ask me for the list!

“Meghan was truly a professional and very communicative. My dog wouldn’t eat so she stayed and made sure he did before she left. I will definitely be using her services again. Highly recommend!”

About: ABOUT ME: Called a cat whisperer with a magnet for animals in need, I’m a semi-retired teacher who has helped save various types of animals all my life & amaze many with pet bonding & relative cat obedience but adore all animal types. Many pets warm up to me fairly quickly that never socialize much and fear most people. I usually quickly gain various animals’ trust, love, loyalty, & affection & am great with most, especially cats & dogs. SOME EXTRAS & BONUSES: As a trustworthy house-sitter who knows what having one can be like in my own house, I’ll also take in your mail/packages & water your plants (at no extra charge unless enough plants for a mini-jungle). COMFORT: Your pets will be as safe & comforted as possible when with me & I'll spend ample agreeable amounts of time with them so long as I feel the same at your place. However, I won’t stay overnight. DOG WALKING; MAY ENTAIL BONUSES &/ OR EXTRA COSTS: We can have fun at nearby doggy parks or nice scenery, if applicable, or by playing in your home or yard when possible. My drop in visit & house sitting costs EXCLUDE dog walking unless negotiated. Because I handle both cats & dogs, add $10 p/visit to those rates if I’m expected to do that vs. let them out in a preferably enclosed yard or bring them outside for more than 10 minutes to do their business. SPECIAL TREAT BONUSES & COSTS: Given time, they can look forward to affection, a pet massage, treats, & perhaps me trying to sing lullabies as I rock them to sleep after bedtime chats if desired 😂. Negotiable $10 extra for each brushing p/dog & $20 bathing rate may vary based on weight p/dog & is available during my idea of “house-sitting” or longer stay drop ins. Rates are negotiable. HOLISTIC PET CARE: I’ve learned a lot of priceless gems applying holistic pet care at times for cats & dogs, if interested. I’ve shared my house & yard with many cats & my 2nd dog TLC BONUSES: I talk to, pet, & play with animals regularly, given time & their temperament, so they feel as valued & loved as they usually instantly are. As long as I'm comfortable there & w/them, I may likely provide extra TLC/time unless requested not to because I know firsthand how anxious many pets are without their humans. SCHEDULE: You'll likely be pleased with the time & care given to your pet(s) unless they conflict with info. below: If accepted after meet & greet, I’ll come up to twice per day for sitting. I’ll bring any dog(s) out up to twice per visit only if need be, especially for puppies. I may have sufficient time otherwise but prefer late mornings & before dark any time of week. If needed in early mornings, evenings, or night, the schedule may be a conflict, especially if you’re further than 10 miles from where I am. If GPS pic shows YOU’RE MORE THAN 10 MILES from either place before our meet & greet, let’s discuss fair & agreeable extra convenience fee for time & gas I’ll be commuting that day & possibly throughout the job, especially if I’m working otherwise then. SAME AS DIRECTLY ABOVE IF I MUST PAY for PARKING &/or YOU’RE NOT IN A HOME WITH AMPLE EASE & AVAILABILITY of PARKING such as your own private driveway, lots of spots on your block near entrance, or it otherwise takes several minutes to get from my car into your home. Considering safety, my own multiple pets including spoiled dog 🐶 😅, & that I may be working remotely or not, AN AGREED UPON MINIMUM # of HOURS P/DAY is the MOST I’LL LIKELY DO vs. OVERNIGHT scheduling. I’ll hopefully break my own dog’s separation anxiety soon & must balance those needs with your own pet(s). If I do consider being there overnight house sitting for you, “please consider possibility” of my small 14 lb shih tzu dog coming leashed & in a carrier to stay with me if there’s a room or place (that doesn’t have hardwood or a rug) to keep him separated from your pet(s). Yes his spoiled butt still has tantrums that include relieving himself on the floor or carpet on occasion when mad at me (usually for leaving him) but if not another available room like a bathroom, I’ll keep him in his carrier during the likely 2-4+ hrs housesitting p/day so your pet(s) & he should be fine. SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT for HOUSESITTING: For safety & privacy, I’m willing when able to stay for a minimum agreed upon amount of hrs. but not comfortable with overnight unless the unlikely event I feel VERY safe, cozy, comfortable, & secure in doing so. I must be able to trust that I will be protected in private moments as well & don't mind spending hours daily in a decent home for house sitting under those conditions but must feel fully comfortable & safe for overnight stays (which’ll likely have .1% chance of happening). We can discuss this further & some things mentioned may have changed since time of posting but THERE MUST BE SECURE LATCHES + LOCKS ON ALL ENTRANCES, including window locks. PROVIDE THE # TO YOUR SECURITY, FRONT DESK, LANDLORD, &/or SUPERINTENDENT, IF APPLICABLE, in case of emergency 🆘. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE KEYS THAT CAN ENTER WHILE YOU’RE AWAY!!! (2 prior incidents were ENOUGH)! During meet & greet, please show me where applicable fire extinguishers & any other life saving devices such as escape ladders from upper floors are just to be on the safe side.

“Kiera is absolutely amazing with all animals. She is truly a natural loving person to animals, our beloved pets. My babies are like my children and is difficult to ever trust anyone. But I trusted Kiera to watch all 4 of my babies. Only one baby is small. The other 3 are 80-110 lbs dogs at healthy weight. I never had an issue. I got pictures of my babies being loved and fun texts of little things they did that was adorable. My babies were very well taken care of. I had to go out of state for my brother to see him before he passed. So it was short notice and she stepped right in. Thanks to Kiera I did not have to worry about my babies at all during this difficult time. I know Kiera personally and she is absolutely amazing with any baby of urs! “Alexis is such an amazing, dog loving, and reliable young women. She is so kind and gentle to my fur baby and I have 100% trust in her with my dog. I rescued my dog from a shelter and he continues to have trust issue with people, however the moment Alexis walked through the dog and introduced herself, he came running up to her with kisses and wasn't afraid at all. I was floored! She is my go to Dog Caregiver anytime I go away for the weekend on business, or even if I end up working late and need someone to stop by to feed him and let him outside. She is truly amazing and will treat your dog as one of her own if not better. I know she is a veterinary student at the University of Minnesota which eases my mind to know he is in the hands of someone with the knowledge and experience of being with animals.”

Kenleigh H.
“Kenleigh is really doing the lord’s work with my dogs. Every time she walks them they come back to my house smiling and with their tails wagging. They hardly want to see me, they rather stay with Kenleigh. Sometimes I wonder if the dogs think that she’s their owner because she does so well with them. I’d highly recommend her to anybody to walk and/or watch my dogs. It’s hard to find good, honest, reputable people in this world anymore and I can depend on Kenleigh for all my babies needs.”
