About: I’ve taken care of dogs cats rabbits and horses ever since I was 10. I’ve cared for new born kittens as well as senior cats at the Humane Society for almost 10 years. And cared for my neighbors’ dogs. From volunteering I’ve learn much about behaviors for both dogs and cats and have discovered I have a talent for working with them. I decided at retiring that I would like to begin in home pet sitting earning a living. I also manage an Airbnb with pets and have had great experiences with both dogs and and cats. I’m available all times but desire at least a week in advance notice. Daily weekly and hourly with breaks when needed for managing my Airbnb. Usually to clean after check out. Also per your needs I will need to have a brief break in the day to drive home to make sure my cats are fed and happy with some play time if I am asked to do overnights. I have 4 cats now. They get fed on special foods on a schedule. When they are eating I clean their cat boxes and when they are finished, I clean their bowls. Before they begin their daily naps , I play with each of them. They range in age from 19 to 1 yr. I also check their water bowls throughout the day or night depending. I can give them treats anytime. I also have learned various medical skills and hope to go back to school for a third degree as a vet tech and if life allows veterinary practice.

I have been around pets my whole life. I just returned from Active Duty with the Marine Corps and am looking for work that will be fulfilling and I would enjoy. We have a fenced in portion of the yard for them and they are given food and water at regular intervals throughout the day. I have three indoor cats, as well, who are taken care of in the same manner, to include changing out litter boxes and giving out treats.

About: I am a young adult who has a passion for working with animals. I have had pets my entire life and recently got my own puppy, whom I’ve been working with. I would love to work with your animals as well and get more experience. This is my passion and a talent that I would love to develop. I am looking to get a career in working with animals and would love the experience. I have a part-time job, but it is very flexible so I pretty much have all availability. I will be available most days as long as scheduled ahead of time. I live in a large field away from roads, and I have a dog friendly puppy and the ability to crate dogs if they need space apart. About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

I truly have a passion for working with animals, which is why I’m pursuing a degree in wildlife biology. For work, I recently got done working at an animal sanctuary where we cared for 500+ animals.
