“Shylina is the absolute BEST!! This was her second stay with Brodie and he was really happy to see her! She took great care of him and provided daily updates for me, as well! We will definitely book again when needed!!”

About: I have taken care of family/friends/other people’s pets since I was 13. I can feed, let out, walk, and provide enrichment/care for animals. I also have experience with administering medication to animals as well. I am a full-time student currently in my fall semester of college. I am available weekdays for the most part, as I can fit in pet sitting with my school schedule. I will care for your pets as if they were my own (I love my dogs)! I want to ensure that your pet feels safe and comfortable in my care, while also respecting your rules, such as keeping fence gates shut or crating pets when I am not there.
“Lisa was absolutely amazing!! I was super anxious leaving my dog for 3 days and 2 nights as my old dog never needed to be cared for by anyone except family. Lisa is now “family!” She is a great communicator and even sent cute pictures of our dog. She asked good questions too! I highly recommend her. Thank you Lisa!!”

“Briana was amazing with our two very high maintenance dogs even with some big last minute changes to their plans and care. Both of my dogs warmed up to her quickly and she took wonderful care of them. Absolutely recommend her!”

“Dylan was amazing caring for my elderly (almost blind) dog. He was knowledgeable about medications and eye drops. He took him on walks in the doggie stroller and was great at calming my nerves about leaving my "baby" while on vacation.”

“Kallyn has watched our house and our Annie, twice now. Both times, she’s been great and Annie loves her! She’s helped us with things around the house that need to be done while we are gone and she keeps us updated on Annie. We especially love the pictures that we get. We highly recommend her!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and as an adult, I have had 3 cats. Sadly they have passed away from old age. In the future, I plan on having another pet, but in the meantime, I can love and care for other people's animals! Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and take care of their pets. I do work full-time Monday through Friday, but my schedule would be available on weekends and some weekdays after 5:30 PM. Holidays can be an option also. My main values are providing safety, trust and love to your pets with respect to the pet owners. When I am with your pet you will be worry free!

I am able to give your dog the attention it needs while you are away. Your dog will have my Westie as company and a playmate. My Westie is very calm and enjoys visitors. I have a fenced in yard with lots of play space. My dog will keep your dog company. My dog is very friendly. I can crate your dog if needed. I can do daily walks. Able to feed your dog on a schedule it needs and give treats when needed.
“Carla was absolutely amazing! When we got home, our pup was sad to watch her new friend leaving :( Carla updated us the whole trip, took Stella on walks throughout the day, and made sure she was fed at the right time. I felt so confident away knowing Stella was in great hands! 10000% recommend”

About: I am an energetic person and love to work with animals outside. I do enjoy walks with them, and I got to work on a dude ranch a few years ago! Animals were always around! I love to engage with pets and keep them engaged till they are ready to relax. I am a full-time archaeologist, but I have time when I'm not traveling for work in the afternoons. I am looking to take on some extra work and get to care for some pets! I can't have a cat or dog due to my travel, but I love to be around them. I love to play with cats and dogs whenever I care for them. I give them the time they need to get used to me, and play more when they want to be near me or give them as many pets as they request. I am huge on getting dogs outside and getting their energy out.
“Geraldine did an excellent job watching my senior, diabetic dog, Oscar. She provided updates and was very responsive to questions. I was immediately comfortable with her after meeting her and seeing her interactive with my dog. She also took great care of my home - leaving it feeling cleaner than when I left. I highly recommend Geraldine!”

“Dylan and Kayla were so great with our dog! They took care of all of our dog’s needs, played with her and gave her a lot of attention, and consistently sent us lots of great updates with great photos. We came home to a very happy pup and a very clean house. We can’t wait to have them come hang out with Maya again!”

“Cari is absolutely amazing! She is warm and conscientious and took the time to get to know our cat and dog with their various quirks! Great communicator. I did not worry about the pets for the entire trip! Not only was she great with the animals, she took care of the house and even folded laundry/sheets we left in the dryer.”

“Kaiden was amazing!! He sent so many pictures and updates even though we were only gone for a day. We came home to three very happy and very healthy pups. Will definitely look to book Kaiden again in the future!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of October 2026, there are 806 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Beldenville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Beldenville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Beldenville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beldenville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
