About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was just born. I had one cat and one dog growing up both for 18 years and I currently have one cat that is 6 years old with a minor disability. My roommate has three cats. I have experience with behavior training, feedings, vet, appointment, walks, potty training, and recognizing emergencies that need immediate attention. I make my cats wellbeing a priority. They get a morning and an evening walk as well as the ability to go in and out as they please. Because of this, I wanted to grow up to be a farmer where I had a dedicated room in the house belonging to all my pets. In reality, I work from home, have one super friendly super-mutt pup, and miss having more animals around! No matter the animal I meet, I always make a friend — and mine often call me the “dog/cat/bird whisperer”, you name it. What I care about is making animals feel safe, loved, and attended to. I work from home 100% of the time so I'm available to walk, house sit, or drop in to care for your pet big or small! (At this time, I'm not able to board any additional animals in my home.) I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a large dog park and several open green spaces less than a mile away. I’m comfortable walking multiple dogs together or taking separate trips to match each pet’s pace, mobility, and training needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, and every stage in between. About: I have taken care of multiple dogs since I was 10 years old, including my own dog as well as many of our neighbors growing up. We just lost our dog this past year, he was 13 years old and had him since 2010. I spent the most time with him, giving him his walks everyday, and had a big contribution in training him when he was younger. I always made sure that each dog that I took care of ate well, always had water, and received plenty of exercise. My schedule is fairly open right now. I am currently working from home and will be available for dog walking and pet sitting in my home Monday through Sunday, anytime after 11am. I have a fenced backyard with a lot of open space. About: Dogs have ALWAYS had a special place in my heart. I have been petsitting and walking dogs for over 15 years. I believe that it is important to take each dog's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I enjoy all kinds of walks, from strolls around the block for potty breaks, to lengthy walks for exercise. Recently my oldest dog of 13 years passed away, so my other playful 7 year old Boston/Australian Cattle Mix has been without a buddy. So your dog will get much needed TLC in my care. My wife and I work 100% remote at home, so your dog will never be alone. If at any moment I do need to leave the house to run errands, it would be no more than 2 hours. I have a nice size fenced backyard, but I absolutely love going on multiple walks where there is a big park by my house. I am very adaptable to any dogs needs. I am well trained to administer any medication if needed. I’m also comfortable to let you dog sleep where ever they feel comfortable.
