“Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”

About: I’ve always had family dogs growing up which was an excellent learning space for dog’s body language, basic training and grooming needs. Currently I have a senior dog so I’m familiar with complex medical/feeding routines. Additionally, my family member has a severe disability which requires a service dog so I’m aware of the different needs of on-duty compared to off-duty service dogs. Aside from caring for my own fur babies, a cat (4 years old) and a dog (13 years old), I have open availability for your fur babies! I keep a close eye on my animals’ behavior which allows for treating most issues with home care before a vet visit is needed with a larger problem, for example regular ear cleaning.

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of loving and caring for pets through every stage of life—from the playful energy of puppies to the tender needs of seniors. I'm a stay-at-home mom to a school-aged child, which gives me a consistent window of availability during the weekdays. I’m generally available for pet care between 8:15 AM and 1:15 PM, Monday through Friday, while my child is in school. I may also be available occasionally during school breaks (track-outs), depending on the week. I am happy to provide weekly care, however my availability may be different during my child's track out schedule. In Your Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely and take time to get to know each pet’s personality and preferences. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. In My Home: I offer a calm, pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and fresh air. Pets in my home will be part of our daily rhythm, receiving plenty of love, supervision, and playtime—including access to a variety of dog toys. Since I do have a young child, I kindly ask that pets staying in my home are comfortable around children and do not have a history of chewing or damaging household items. With your permission and if your pet enjoys riding in the car, they may occasionally join me for a short carpool ride to pick up my child depending on the time. I’ll treat your pet like one of my own while keeping both their needs and my home environment safe and happy for everyone. We currently do not have any pets in our home.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have one of my own, I am great at being active with them and would love to dog sit or dog walk for you. I have plenty of references, and would love to watch your dog babies and treat them like my own for how every long you need. I currently have a part time job that only have 4 hour shifts so my availability is very open and dogs wouldn’t be left along for more then that time! We have a big fenced in area for our dogs and they also go in and out with there wireless fence collars, but also walking them on a leash wouldn’t be a problem

About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love! My priorities start with my pet family, unless I'm taking care of yours. Then, your pets become my priority. I work from home most of the time and that allows me to have the ultimate flexibility in my schedule so that I can care for your pets as appropriate, on their time. I've raised my dog training game significantly over the past few years, attending regular sessions with my trusted trainer, Baptiste. Our work has focused on highly reactive dogs and also puppy training. Like kids, pets can do no wrong. I do not get upset with them, I just clean the mess ;)

About: I grew up with dogs since I was 12, from a chihuahua mix to a labrador mix. I've had my current dog for five years, a shi-tzu poodle mix. I also have a stray kitten who's less than a year old. I've cared for my neighbors' and friends' dogs when they vacation. They have entrusted me with their dogs to walk, bathe, and feed them. Aftering graduating App State this past May, I stay in Boone and sometimes travel back home. I currently have time more time on my hands than usual. I welcome any pet and will treat them like my own.
