Hello Everyone!

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Kelly and I am what people call "a true animal lover"!!! I am a Mom of 3 crazy, but loving, wonderful kiddos and a HUGE pet family, from dogs to cats, to an iguana and a turtle! I love my crazy, vibrant long hair and you never know what color (I have greys to cover these days! Haha!) that I have and I love my tattoos and always looking to add another piece to myself to help tell my story! They make me who I am, working on getting Kelly 100% again, and fun colored hair, tattoos, dogs, dogs, and dogs are what will be the medicine to bringing the Kelly everyone knows and loves back!!! So here I go....

As a child growing up I was not allowed to have a dog :(

I did have a gerbil that had babies one time and I did bring home a turtle from the ditch by the golf course another time, and we had a few outside cats that just weren't people cats.

Dogs and farm animals, horses in particular, have always been my passion and I have been one of the lucky ones to be able to pursue a career in the animal industry. I started working in the veterinary field when I was only 15 years old! I worked at Bay Area Animal Hospital for a veterinarian named Dr. Schulte (RIP sir) and held onto that job for a year, before I had to give that up because in high school I was very much involved in FFA and raised steers my junior and senior years so a job became to much with the added duties.

Back to that statement I said above, "I was not allowed to have a dog when I was growing up", I know so sad right?!?! Well I can remember as a "tween" walking over to a neighbors house one day and seeing my very first Siberian Husky with those crystal blue eyes! It was love at first site and I knew I wanted this sweet, happy boy to be a friend of mine so I offered my neighbors a whopping 50 cents to walk their dog around the block everyday they needed. I offered to pay them!! They laughed and allowed me to walk him when needed, let me keep my 50 cents and in return my friends, sister, and I were allowed to swim in their pool and most importantly more time to "doggie sit" with the husky that also swam!

I have been very fortunate to continue my career in the animal industry throughout my life with 18 years of working in the veterinary field, to now being a full time pet sitter/business owner. Those little lessons in life ya know, how I use to try and pay a neighbor to walk their dog because I LOVED him so much, to now I have a "Pet Sitting Family" that uses and TRUSTS me to watch their pet families? I help them and they help me, with any and all pet like situations. I do boarding, daily visits, medical cases, geriatric pets, rescue, and yes puppies and kittens, I help and provide for them ALL in anyway I can, that is who I am and this is what I am passionate and love to do!!! They call me and my business the ~ Home of the traveling "Veterinary Technician"! I am who I am, and I LOVE what I DO!!! Dog spelled backwards is ~GOD~ :)

Care. Love. Compassion. Home F/TClear Lake, Houston, TX

****HOME ALL DAY ****

We want to say a special thank you to all our clients and furry friends for making this a great experience for us, this is our 7th year with Rover. We enjoy and love all that come into our home, and you all have a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to building relationships with each and every one of you.

My self proclaimed " gold badge" is that my new found friend Jim, AKA, Pa-Pa's Puppy Haven, entrusted his boy Sam and new addition, Susanna to me...again. Jim is the number 1 host in the Nation, I was very honored for this experience, you can read his latest review on my page and see sweet Sam and Susanna's pics, he is the beautiful lab and Suzanna is the Labradoodle. Jim passed away in October this year, I still can’t believe it, it was an honor to call him my friend.

Myself and my husband Angelo have been foster parents to so many rescues and enjoy all that come into our home.

You may encounter some of our short term emergency rescues we foster in our support to various Houston Rescue Group's that pull from high kill shelters. These rescues, move on to their forever homes with the socialization help of our own dogs and our wonderful guests that stay, we all contribute to saving these lost souls.

Your dog will have trips the secure doggie park on Bay Area to socialize and have fun with other dogs, there are also nice green walks in the area

We LOVE seniors, I am experienced with deaf and blind dogs. I also have a dog that requires insulin shots, so shots are no problem, he is now totally blind. I have senior guests that require multiple medications during their visits, that is something we can discuss during our meet and greet.

We treat all visitors as if they were our own. Prior to their stay, we do require that all pups have their flea meds, monthly heart worm treatment and are up-to-date on shots. I would like to get to know your dogs likes and dislikes, quirks, fear of storms, separation anxiety and anything else that would be important to know prior to their stay. All dogs are given the same attention as our own dogs. Our goal is to have you enjoy your free time with no worries or concerns and to know that your baby is being loved and cared for while you are gone. I will be sending you daily picture updates and videos so that you can see how much fun your fur ball is having.

All dogs are kept inside in the ac, they have access to a paddle pool to cool off on these hot Texas days. Dogs get 2 walks per day as well as visits to the dog park, all dogs get filtered water. A Meet n Greet is required prior to booking, its essential to us that you will be happy to leave your dog with us and more importantly, your dog is happy in our home, again, I'll update you throughout your dog's stay with pictures and videos.

I have completed 200 hours grooming training in Masters Grooming Academy and received my Certificate in Grooming and Pet Hygiene.

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile.

Home full time, love dogsSeabrook, TX

I’ve had dogs of varying sizes all my life. My dog Ranger passed away last year at the age of 12. I’m not ready to adopt another but really miss having a dog at home so being a walker/caretaker is a perfect fit for me. Dogs require an abundance of attention to keep them happy & healthy. To help entertain and provide necessary exercise, I give long walks twice a day and potty walks every 2 hours. I feed and offer treats strictly according to owners instructions. I was never comfortable boarding my dogs at a kennel, not knowing if they were left alone in a cage all day. Finding a person to care for such an important member of your family is difficult, I care for for others dogs as if they were my own. I absolutely love what I do and I appreciate the pup parents who allow me to care for their precious pups.

Small Dogs Only-Home Full Time!Crosby, TX

FENCED YARD! Home FULL TIME! SMALL DOG SITTER!

During our 38 years of marriage and raising a family, we have had various types of pets, and presently we have a small dog.

I am a full time homemaker and animal lover, when you leave your pup with me, you can rest assured that he/she is in a safe, loving, and caring home environment. My husband and I have lived in our home in Crosby for 30 years.

(NOTE): Additional dog(s) must be from the same household; price will reflect for smaller dog(s).

About this sitter:

I am a full time homemaker who loves animals. We presently have a small yorkshire terrier. She is my empty nest baby and I absolutely adore her! She is very friendly and loves to socialize with other dogs. In-home pet care gives her the opportunity to make many friends, while fulfilling my needs as a caretaker.

About my yard

Our backyard is completely fenced in. Our resident dog is very small and must always be supervised when outside, and she loves to be out doors, as do I. I am mindful of the heat during the summer months, and we will go outside often but for shorter periods of time. If I walk them during the summer months, it will only be during the coolest hours of the morning or evening. I maintain a clean yard and scoop it free of waste daily.

My experience administering medication

I can administer oral medications as directed. I am not uncomfortable with administering shots, I just have not had the training or the opportunity to do so.

Spacious, loving dog getawayPASADENA, TX

My husband and I have 4 dogs, all pugs and one-two foster pugs, depending on their adoption status. We have worked with a local rescue (Pughearts) for several years and I have volunteered at our local animal shelter. I also used to work for the Houston Humane Society. I love dogs, and we have a kennel free attitude (they can also get on the furniture), but we do have kennels available (I do kennel if I leave the house at all for their safety). We have a 1/2 acre and lots of comfy spots to rest. I am a teacher, so I am off all summer but do work through the month of May & return mid August. I can still pet sit, because my mom, who lives on our property, is available to let the pups out for potty breaks and play with them until I get home. I'm also available on most weekends. Also, I am first-aid trained. I look forward to taking great care of your fur baby!

Hubby is home all day; huge yard !Seabrook, TX

My family and I love our Rover guests! I am a middle school instructional coach who grew up with beloved dogs of all sizes, from English Pointers to Pugs. My husband, Dana, works largely from home so your pups will have plenty of company. Our only child, 14-year old Jack, Dana, and I believe that our pets are members of our family, and treat them as such. We have one small, friendly, mixed breed dog that loves to play with other dogs. We also recently adopted a standard poodle- lab mix who is playful, but sweet and submissive to other dogs. Our cat is very socialized, and is a pro at becoming friends with dogs who are not used to cats. We take our dogs Winnie and Grimm, with our guest dogs, on walks on the trails near our house every evening. We are just a few blocks from a vet, and we have a huge, fully fenced, grassy yard, accessible through an extra-large dog door so that pets can choose where they’d like to be. All of our pets are on flea control meds and fully vaccinated. Your dogs will be cuddled, loved, played with....and will return to you happy!

Doggy play care and over night🐶Houston, TX

I have been loving & caring for pets all of my life. I am a full time pet sitter with Rover in the Houston area. My family and I have been volunteers with rescue dogs for over 15 years, transporting, working adoption events and hosting foster pups until they were adopted and placed with their furever families.

Safety is priority, making sure the dogs are a good fit and can be cared for properly during the stay. I have one very friendly 7 year old chocolate lab, Mercedes. I first found Rover as a pet owner and was happy with the care Mercedes received and the convenience of finding a trustworthy sitter with short notice.I later became a sitter for Rover, and my sister is also on Rover-Christina. I hope to make a great impression on all my furry friends.

* I am flexible with pick up and drop off. Flights get delayed and life happens.

Rover boarding/overnight stay is up to 24 hours from Drop off additional charges are added after 24hours.

Please confirm pickup and drop off time before booking to determine if additional doggy daycare will be added/apply. Welcome to our Pet Pawty where dogs get to be top dogs as their owners are away.

Dog's Best FriendDeer Park, TX

Hello! I'm Cara. I live in Deer Park off of Pasadena Boulevard near Beltway 8, a few streets behind Hobby Lobby. I share my house with my mom and 2 dogs; Maxxis is an American Eskimo and Fancy is a Havashire. I'm a huge dog lover and try my best to make any visiting dog feel comfortable. I work full-time outside of the home and my mom works part-time so there are only a few days a week for a few hours a day when the dogs are home alone.

I have undergone advanced screening that culminated in a face-to-face in-home meeting with a home inspection. I generally accept no more than four visiting dogs and require a meet and greet with male dogs that are bigger than my male because, while he enjoys the company of visiting dogs, he still wants to protect his domain.

My fees:

-$28/night for dogs up to 50 lbs.

-$34 for a dog over 50 lbs.

My fees are calculated in 24-hour increments. If your stay extends beyond that 24-hour period, I do charge extra for that additional time.

About my yard

I have a nice fully fenced-in yard as well as a doggie door to allow the dogs some freedom to go outside. The doggie door will only accommodate dogs up to 60 pounds, which is why that is the maximum size I'm able to keep.

If you leave your dog in my care, you can be sure that he/she will receive the best care and attention that he/she deserves.
