“Kacie is an exceptional dog sitter that goes above and beyond. I can tell she has a genuine love for animals. Aman had a phenomenal time during his stay. He enjoyed fellowship with Kacie’s dogs, day naps, enjoyable walks and balanced down time. I highly recommend boarding your dog with Kacie. She will provide multiple updates with pics and videos daily. 10/10 experience”

“Laura is fantastic!! We were worried about him being around other animals, but Laura did a great job with that and kept our worries at ease with good communication and photos! Cooper had a great time! we will be rebooking with her again for our trip in May this year!”

“I honestly can't say enough awesome things about this family and the care they gave my Peepod while I was away. The updates and pictures were endless, which I loved and just from the way my Peepod acted when I took him to their home I knew he was super comfortable and would be treated like their own, and he definitely was ! I wish I had found them long before now as I was always worried when leaving him at times in the past. The most impressive thing about Esteban and his beautiful family was they were the first to ever ask me what Peepod enjoyed and some interesting things about Peepod. I loved that, and I felt extremely at ease knowing he was in their care. I hate leaving my Peepod but I truly can't wait to let him visit again. Thank you all for your genuine kindness and caring for all animals.”

“Very Thankful that Marcus was so accommodating to take Charli with very little notice, when I had inadvertently mixed up my booking dates. Also, drop off was insanely early and Marcus was on the phone and outside his house so I could find his house. Charli, was a happy girl. Thank you Marcus and family!”

“Sarah is wonderful! She took such good care of my senior boy. She sent pic updates during his stay and even let me extend a day when I had some trouble getting back on time . Highly recommend and will be using her again. ❤️🐾”

“Kaitlynn was amazing! I found her last minute and she was super accommodating. I was nervous leaving my new puppy I recently rescued. She sent me pictures daily and treated him better than I do. He came home and went straight to sleep so I know he was running around with her kids all week. Thank you so much!”

“Namita and Sean were amazing. Communication was awesome, loads of pictures and my girl came back happy! She even set up a meet and greet with me before to see exactly how everyone would interact with each other. I could not recommend her more. We have definitely found a safe place for our girl. If you're reading this and having any reservations about leaving the your dog in safe hands, you've found the right people.”

“Shaneika is truly a gem! From the moment Bruce met her, he felt right at home. She’s incredibly sweet, transparent, and so in tune with puppies—it’s clear she genuinely loves what she does. She follows every instruction with care and always keeps me updated, which is huge for my separation anxiety. For the past 4 months, she’s been our go-to while I travel for business and pleasure, and we’re not going anywhere—she’s a keeper! 🐾🖤”

“Enrique & Giovanni are such great guys! We took a long weekend trip and they took care of our mini dachshund Deanna for 4 nights and I had no worries. Enrique was easy to contact and gave us updates. They hove two small dogs and Deanna must have enjoyed socializing with them as she came home full of energy. I highly recommend Enrique.”

“This was our first time to use a dog sitter, and we couldn't have been happier! Rebecca was so sweet and gentle with our little dog, and sent us frequent pictures and videos so we could rest assured that she was enjoying her visit. So much better than boarding her in a kennel!! Thanks again Rebecca, and we'll definitely plan to use you again in the near future! ?”

“Jenni, Thank you so much for caring for our 2 dogs like they were family. We will definitely continue to use you. We loved the pictures and videos of the dogs. Thanks again see you in November! Kim”

“Michelle and Jeremiah were amazing with Maddie! We were a little worried about Maddie being around another bigger dog so we were able to meet them the day before drop off which helped a lot!! They would send us tons of picture of our girl and we knew she was having so much fun and being well taken care of! I know Maddie would love to go play with Brewly again! Thank you Michelle and Jeremiah!”

“I highly recommend Ariana for dog boarding. She provides excellent care and keeps me updated with photos, which I truly appreciate. The best part is the home environment she offers; Cali is never confined to a kennel and instead spends her day surrounded by a loving family and other dogs. Ariana’s supervision is top-notch, and I feel completely at ease leaving Cali in her hands.”

“Chewie loves going to Victoriya’s. He always make new friends and gets plenty of playtime. Victoriya always takes good care of him and she always updates us with videos and pictures. She is also very kind and such a pleasant and good person. Highly appreciated and recommended!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands
We kept our dog zuco with Nile for 5 nights. Zuco has always stayed in a pet suite and this was the very first time he stayed in another house with a dog sitter. Nile provided picture update every morning of the stay. Each time in the photo zuco looked extremely happy and made our day each time. Zuco learned new things from her (like climbing to second floor) and zuco was very playful and happy when we went to pick him up. Seeing zuco happy made us very happy and will definitely rebook with her again!

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
