About: When growing up my mom ran a dog rescue, so I leaned how to train and calm dogs during a stressful time. I then volunteered at the local shelter to get my volunteer hours in high school. I recently worked at a vet where i further learned how to administer medications. I am currently a college student working part time, and so there are multiple days and times where I am free to hang out with these pets! I make sure to always keep a tidy litterbox in my apartment for my two boys. I promise keep your place as clean as can be while watching your pets. I can also crate them, or anything of the sort that they’re normally used to when you’re gone.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them since I was five gave me the chance to learn firsthand how to care for different breeds with all kinds of personalities and needs. Somewhere along the way, taking care of dogs just became second nature to me. I’m currently a college student at the University of North Florida, and even with a busy schedule, I always make time for the dogs in my life. I am also in Delta Gamma sorority and I love doing volunteer work I go to the human society a lot with my sorority. My first pup was a super energetic Jack Russell who kept me on my toes and showed me the importance of regular exercise and mental stimulation. Later on, I got experience with bigger breeds like a Great Dane and an English Bull Mastiff—both gentle giants that taught me patience and how to handle mobility and health concerns with care. I’ve also looked after a smart and active Brittany Spaniel mix, a trio of fun-loving Labradors, and now my two mini Goldendoodles who are all about snuggles, grooming, and consistency. Each dog has taught me something different, and I’ve really come to appreciate how important it is to adjust care based on their unique needs and personalities. Whether it’s a puppy full of energy or a senior dog who moves a little slower, I’m confident in my ability to provide the kind of attention and care they deserve. I love being active, I’m super dependable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs—which is why I think I’d be a great fit for Rover dog walking. I’m all about keeping dogs happy, safe, and feeling loved, and giving pet parents peace of mind while I do it. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I prioritize providing consistent, quality care. I schedule walks, playtime, and check-ins around my other responsibilities while still being a college student at UNF, ensuring each pet receives the attention they deserve. I’m flexible and adaptable, making it easy to accommodate different schedules and pet needs. I prioritize safety by following each pet’s routine, using secure leashes, and being attentive during walks. I ensure a clean, comfortable environment, respecting clients’ homes while providing care. I communicate regularly with pet owners, offering updates for peace of mind and building trust through reliable, compassionate service.

“Machalia was amazing with my cats. She did everything as instructed and spent time sitting and chatting with both of my boys. They warmed up to her rather quickly and I could tell they felt safe in her presence. It was reassuring to be away and know that my cats were in good hands. Thank you, Machalia!”

About: Growing up on a family farm loving and raising a wide variety of animals I developed a passion and love for all animals. As a per parent myself, I understand the struggle of finding a trustworthy pet sitter who I know will go above and beyond for my animals which is ultimately why I joined Rover. From one pet parent to another, rest assured your furry friends are in excellent hands. I work full-time hybrid, but my partner works fully remote so there is always someone home to monitor animals as needed. With my hybrid schedule, I am available for early morning drop ins and drop ins after 5:30PM 7 days a week. I am also available for overnight cat boarding 7 days a week, but would need to discuss dog boarding on a case by case basis to make sure your pup’s needs can be met with my hybrid work schedule. I live in a private residence with 2 friendly adult male cats. I do not have a yard, but I do have a screened in patio that can be utilized for supervised outdoor time as needed. I also live in a gated community perfect for walks and potty breaks. In the event your pet prefers or needs a private area to unwind, I have a fully furnished spare bedroom (pets are always welcome on furniture). I can also provide a litter box, water fountain, food bowl, and toys upon request. For the safety & comfort of all animals present, I will not have your pet socialize with my two cats unless specifically requested by the owner. Any dogs must be cat friendly, and any cats must be up to date on vaccines and free of any viruses. I can provide up to date medical records for the two cats within the home upon owner request as well.

“Shalik has taken great care of my boy a few times now. Each one of my dogs have different medical issues as they are all senior dogs. In Addition, my rescues has alot of fears so slow introductions are best with him. I was worried my rescue would not accept a new person caring for them but Shalik came over more than one day to get him to be comfortable with him. Shalik was very patiently and kind. He was knowledgable on how to handle more challenging situations. I feel very comfortable leaving all three of my babies with him knowing they are in good hands. I will definitely call upon his services in the future. Thank you Shalik!!!”

Machalia was absolutely wonderful with my dogs! She was extremely attentive and communicative, sending me regular updates along with plenty of pictures of them having fun and enjoying their walk. She showed so much respect and genuine care, paying attention to every detail of their routine. I came home to happy, relaxed pups who were clearly comfortable and stress-free after being with her. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter and will definitely be booking with her again!

Renee has been so amazing watching my kitties this past week. She’s sent me pictures each day and gave me updates each time she’s dropped in. This was my first time using Rover and I’m so happy I was able to connect with her. Made me feel so much better leaving my boys!! :)

SO happy to have found Korinna! My pup is not easy, he is sweet but not easy. He is rambunctious and reactive on leash but Korinna never hesitated! She was happy to meet before so that both me and my pup were comfortable and was super responsive and reliable. She also took such great pictures to make my work day! Truly think no matter what type of pup you have Korinna can be your girl! ✨ 🥰 100% will be booking again and again, if she’ll have us 😉

As always, Christi comes through with a save. Since discovering Rover, we've never booked anyone else for our cats but Christi. It's always Christi. My husband and I trust her, but most especially our cats. For this visit, I accidentally booked her for both kitties, and when I corrected that and clarified that we'll only need her to give my diabetic cat a shot and my hisband will handle the rest, she was gracious and honest to modify the charges. We've already made plans for the next time we're going to need her and I'm glad she has our dates penciled out! As always, CHRISTI IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stephanie was AMAZING!!! Best cat sitter I’ve ever had by far. She was communicative in just the right way, and I loved how she showed you each drop-in when she started and stopped. She went above and beyond, even bringing a small bag of treats over when I told her I didn’t get around to buying any before my trip and felt bad about it! So sweet, I would DEFINITELY recommend her!!💕🥰😻
