Now that Domi is a 17-year-old senior dog, we are very selective about who watches him — honestly, we only leave him with my husband’s parents or Yeketarina. That alone says a lot. She does an excellent job managing all of his medications, including his blood pressure meds and multiple eye drops. And trust me…if those aren’t being done properly, it’s very noticeable 😅 Domi always comes home relaxed, comfortable, and never anxious. She keeps us updated on everything, especially his eating habits, which we really appreciate at his age. She also stays on top of his belly band changes, gives him outdoor time, and makes sure he has a safe, comfortable space when she needs to step out — something that’s especially important because of his eyesight. When they’re home, he truly just gets to live his best little life: happy, comfy, and cared for by her and her family. We’ve continued using her since moving here in 2025, and we honestly could not have found anyone better for Domino.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover all my life and until recently been an owner of a small dog for 16 + years but unfortunately have lost him about a year ago to old age. Now I have retired and looking for something to do with my spare time. If you are looking for someone to take care of your small pet in a safe , cosy environment. You are at the right place. I am retired as I mentioned earlier and would be taking care of your fur baby like I took care of my own fur baby for all those years I have a nice fenced yard for your little fur baby to run around and have fun. I don’t like to keep your pet outdoors all the time in Florida heat like most places . They will be indoors with me. I will walk your baby at-least a couple of times on my cosy little neighborhood with least amount of traffic and noise

About: I’ve had pets all my life. From guinea pigs to chihuahuas to pitties. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like and I don’t plan to ever. I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. I also spend a few hours a week at the Humane Society. I've had animals as long as I've been self-aware. My family dogs include a senior chihuahua and a 7 year old pittie. At home, my family includes two kitties, Moomin (5) and Toro (1), who are both from the Jacksonville Humane Society! They are my pride and joy and I consider them my sons. I work well with all pets. “Excellent!!! Fozzie's behavior when I picked him up spoke for the great time he had. Fozzie said hi to me in usual happy fashion, yet did not want to leave. Normally, Fozzie is ready to leave wherever he is and doesn't speak to me. He actually ignores me until we get into the car. Her big brown lab was a sweet heart and her cats let Fozzie sniff them, too. Adriana, welcomed me all the way inside her home. The living room was set up for a place for pets to lay & relax; there were multiple cushions on the floor. Her back yard is fenced with ample room for running & playing, with a good size pool for pup swimming. When I came in to pick him up, she didn't rush me out. I bonded with the big guy with lots of rubbing & scratching; Fozzie wasn't his usual jealous self, getting between me and the pet I was petting. This was a very unique experience; it was great. Anytime we are in Jacksonville, FL, I know where Fozzie is going.”

Your pet will have plenty of playmates! I am a single mother who works from home. I drop off and pick up my kids from school, and run the occasional errand, but usually I am home. I enjoy an evening walk with my chocolate lab and would love your pet to join us. I have a fully fenced, large backyard. I also have two extra crates if your dog is crate-trained and feels more comfortable sleeping in a crate. Pets being on furniture is discouraged, but rarely enforced. About: The best part of using Rover for me was the fun pictures of my pup playing I would get from the sitters. So as a sitter, I absolutely love providing you with the best action shots I can get of your little fur baby having a great time while you do the same!! I can send them home with a fresh wash and brush for $40! I have a flexible schedule. I live in an apartment but my complex has a large and small dog park right in front of it. Plenty of play time. Only keep 1-2 pups at a time. Small dogs ONLY (20 pounds and below) Dogs get lots of attention and petting and snuggles around here and I love taking pictures so you’ll get lots of those as well.

I will always follow your guidelines, suggestions and instructions with handling, walking, playing, crating, treats, food, medications, whatever is needed and expected. About: Hi! Im Danielle,! I grew up around a variety of animals- horses, bunnies, parrots dogs and cats! My dream is to open up a rescue/shelter because no animal deserves to go without a loving home. My boyfriend and I have 5 cats -3 boys and two girls as well as our pit mix which we rescued who are our heart and soul and they truly saved us. We both grew up around animals and the love we have for all walks of life is what drives me to give your pets the best care possible ! What sets me apart from others is the genuine love and kindness I have for animals because each and everyone has a back story and they all deserved to be loved the same. Our pets aren’t just friends, they are family and that’s why I take pride in helping other owners like myself find someone who they trust to help them one belly rub at a time! I am available during the week before 7 and after 5:30pm and on weekends ! I love giving the chance to provide owners with comfort and stress free care because your fur babies mean just as much to me as they do to you! When caring for your pets in your home, I treat your space how I would expect mine to be treated and that’s with respect. By ensuring that I keep same routine that your fur baby is used to will make sure that they feel comfortable because meeting someone new can be nerve wracking. I make sure pets get plenty of love, attention, and are loved as if they were my own — and I keep you updated with messages and plenty of photos so you know your pet is happy and safe. I stick to your pet’s usual schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks to keep things familiar and stress-free. I follow all instructions provided and always double-check things like food portions, medication (if needed), and security (locked doors, gates, etc. Clean-up and tidiness are a priority too; I leave your space just as I found it, or better.
