“Erin is fantastic! I was so worried about leaving our cats for 2 weeks while out of country for vacation. I found Erin through Rover and could not be happier! She responded quickly, provided all the information needed, stopped by for a meet and greet, was consistent and punctual during our absence, and I could tell by the pictures she sent that she was really engaging with our fur-babies during her visits. I highly recommend Erin and will definitely will be contacting her for our next vacation! :)”

“Ashley was great with my cats! She was super patient with my shy one who is always hesitant with new people and was able to make friends with her! She kept in close contact and was very responsive and helpful when I had a last minute schedule change. I will be happy to use her services again!”

“Hannah was an absolute Joy to work with! She was amazing at communicating via updates and photos of my lil guy and she made sure to stop in and meet my pet face to face before sitting. She is patient and caring and won't shy away from any accidents your pet my have. My cat loved her and I'm sure other animals will too!”

“This was our second time booking with Laura, and she is such an amazing kitty sitter. She not only takes such good care of our cats, but also takes the time to put together a thorough 'report card' and takes such sweet photos. Really helps reassure me when I'm away”

About: I just really love dogs! I work as a research assistant at Wayne State University in the Oncology department and live in Ferndale. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in genetics and am pursuing a graduate degree as Wayne State. I have always been very passionate about animals and have had a variety of pets at my entire life, from dogs to tortoises to rabbits. I have also been a volunteer as animal shelter since my late teens. I like to stay active and spend a lot of time doing activities outdoors. While I am currently unable to have a dog of my own, that allows me to give all my love and attention to your furry friend. My experience with other types of pets allows me to take great care of any additional animals you may have in your home. I can't wait to meet your best friend.
“I hired Samantha to feed and walk my two puppies while I was at work during the weekdays. Puppies received excellent care, she tended to their needs as I care for them. Samantha sent pictures and text updates throughout the process. I am going to recommend her to friends and family.”

“Nikki did a great job watching my dog so I could go get my hair done. She has a very calm demeanor about her when it comes to dogs and that’s exactly what my dog needed. I would recommend Nikki!”
About: I have experience with animals in all settings. I have helped distract puppies when they receive their first shots and I have helped dogs who get laser therapy. I have helped care for the pets family and friend throughout my entire life. I have always enjoyed helping people but helping pets is so special. I work part time 0.5 mile away from home. I usually work from 12pm- 8pm. Or later in the evening usually between 5pm - 2 am. When I am not home my boyfriend is home most of the day. I live in a safe and quiet apartment, without a fenced in yard. I have an American bulldog mix. I enjoy going for walks and bringing out the best in my favorite fuzzy critters.
About: I've owned several dogs since I was a child, and it was often up to me to take care of them, I used to walk my boys every day, and I do quite miss it. Cats are even closer to my heart, I can think of few times I haven't had a cat somewhere in my home, often times I joke that I prefer their company over actual people. I'm currently not working, so I have PLENTY of time to walk/ spend with your fur babies, the only time I can't is some weekdays after 5 to take care of my little one. I love to walk with dogs, and I'm also a very cautious person, so you won't have to worry about your pets being in any sort of danger. I look both ways, and I avoid questionable places and people. I try to be as vigilant about the comfort of animals as I can, and I think their boundaries are very important to respect!
“Shadow and his family give Merissa five out of five paws! If you are looking for someone to spend less than two minutes with your pet, Merissa may not be the person for you. She stopped by roughly 30 minutes during each visit and made sure that Shadow wasn't lonely while we were on vacation. She sent multiple pictures to us every time she stopped over, even if he wasn't interested in having his picture taken. Most importantly to us, she didn't give up on him. The first couple days, he was somewhat apprehensive with someone new looking after him -- he didn't want to eat much or play (which is unlike him). On Day 3, Merissa was able to finally get him out of his funk and act like his playful self (as supported by pictures). Someone else may have just decided to not put in the effort and let our sleepy dog lie, but that wasn't the case with her! So, by all means, don't pick Merissa unless your pet is ready to have someone play with him or her while you are gone. If you want your pet to feel lonely, don't pick her, because she will make sure that your pet gets a lot of attention. And definitely don't pick her, if your pet is camera shy, because you will never have to wonder for too long how your pet is doing. However, if you want to make sure that your pet is cared for while you are away, you should consider booking her right away. Again, Shadow rates her five out of five paws and that is what really matters!”

“Megan was absolutely incredible with Harley! She was prompt, sent photos and updates with each pop in. Her communication is amazing. She also helped me out with a last minute emergency pop in. She is really a great sitter and I'm so glad we chose her!!!”
