About: I've owned several dogs since I was a child, and it was often up to me to take care of them, I used to walk my boys every day, and I do quite miss it. Cats are even closer to my heart, I can think of few times I haven't had a cat somewhere in my home, often times I joke that I prefer their company over actual people. “Shadow and his family give Merissa five out of five paws! If you are looking for someone to spend less than two minutes with your pet, Merissa may not be the person for you. She stopped by roughly 30 minutes during each visit and made sure that Shadow wasn't lonely while we were on vacation. She sent multiple pictures to us every time she stopped over, even if he wasn't interested in having his picture taken. Most importantly to us, she didn't give up on him. The first couple days, he was somewhat apprehensive with someone new looking after him -- he didn't want to eat much or play (which is unlike him). On Day 3, Merissa was able to finally get him out of his funk and act like his playful self (as supported by pictures). Someone else may have just decided to not put in the effort and let our sleepy dog lie, but that wasn't the case with her! So, by all means, don't pick Merissa unless your pet is ready to have someone play with him or her while you are gone. If you want your pet to feel lonely, don't pick her, because she will make sure that your pet gets a lot of attention. And definitely don't pick her, if your pet is camera shy, because you will never have to wonder for too long how your pet is doing. However, if you want to make sure that your pet is cared for while you are away, you should consider booking her right away. Again, Shadow rates her five out of five paws and that is what really matters!”

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! I’m available on weekdays and most weekends for staying overnight with the animal(s) or just stopping in to feed and walk. I am also available to let animals out during the day or take them for a walk, as my work days are flexible. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding scheduling, fees, etc. I am not currently working so I’m very available when needed to help you and your family out. Available to staying in your home, or having your pet stay at mine, walks or stopping in for feed and to be let out. I have a fenced in yard and a little pup of my own. Obie is almost three and has been fixed. A 13 lb maltipoo and he loves to play. He gets along especially well with other small dogs.

“Logan (and Grace) were great! His communication was quickly responsive initially, and regular on a daily basis including pictures of how happy Mocha was during her stay. We are very protective of Mocha, and Logan made sure she was safe and getting along with their cat and one other dog they were caring for during part her stay. I know if they were not getting along he would have kept them separate and protected her. But turns out they all got along. I won’t hesitate to use Logan as my first choice if we ever have need for a caretaker in the future. Thanks Logan!”
