“Morgan was great! We came back from our week long trip and knew right away when we arrived all was good, tidy and clean. Our cats are pretty skittish and shy so I didn’t expect them to come out from hiding for Morgan but found them to be relatively calm and comfortable upon our return. One did actually allow Morgan to pet him eventually 😆 Very grateful to have found Morgan.”

“Alyssa is a fantastic Rover sitter! She has been my primary sitter for about a month now and she is very reliable and has been able to accommodate last minute changes to my work schedule. She is respectful and friendly, and communicates timely and thoroughly via the app. Alyssa is so good with my 5-year old Malinois rescue and I definitely recommend her services and plan to continue to work with her.”

“Cortney did a WONDERFUL job taking care of all our cats😻😻😻. She made us feel comfortable knowing she was timely, competent, compassionate and very friendly with our fur babies. We will certainly book her services again! We highly recommend her 😇”

“Denise was so easy to work with and fit me in last minute. My dog really took to her and she doesn’t usually warm up very quickly. I would definitely recommend and use her again in the future”

“Alexandria was amazing with our girls. She showed up on time and happy to see the girls. She is very dependable and communicated with us. We would definitely use her services again.”

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors’ dogs and my own dog for the past several years. My experience has included walking, bathing, and overnight house sitting care. I have also taken care of cats overnight. I am a college student, home for the summer. I am looking to help any time I am needed on a weekly basis until mid-late August when I return to college. I prefer not to do overnight care for longer than two nights at a time. I will also be working around my preexisting babysitting clients. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats, as I have experience with many different sizes and breeds. I always provide updates to my clients as needed and attentive care to the pets I look after.
About: I provide a calm caring and reliable experience for dogs of all ages. I have hands-on experience working with energetic puppies helping with basic training routines and plenty of playtime as well as older dogs who need a gentler pace, patience, and attentive care. Whether it is keeping up with a playful pup or supporting a senior dogs comfort and mobility I focus on creating a safe stress-free environment where every dog feels understood and well cared for. Pet care fits well into my routine because I'm a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule. Morning walks and feedings can happen alongside getting the kids ready, while midday visits offer a natural break and a chance to reset. Puppies bring energy and short training moments, while older dogs fit well into calmer, more relaxed periods. Overall, it blends easily into my daily home life without needing a separate schedule. I enjoy going on walks, going on hikes, and engaging in fun playtime with pets. I am comfortable handling feeding and daily care to keep your pets happy and well looked after. I will care for your pets with the same love and attention I give my own.
About: My name is Nestle & I am a certified dog trainer through animal behavior college. I have been a dog trainer for 10 years. I train all breeds even Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepards, Cane corsos etc. For training I always use positive reinforement. I also teach basic obedience as well and work with any dog with any issue. I used to work at Petco for 4 years so I am knowledgeable about nutrition, pet products, pet care etc. I also have experience in grooming. I have experience working at 2 doggie daycares as well. I also used to volunteer at an animal shelter (peaceable kingdom) and walk the dogs there. I currently have 6 pets I have a sun conure, crested gecko, 2 leopard geckos & 2 dogs (Bichon & Maltese). I have been working for rover for over 3 years. I am an animal lover. I have a 3 year old who is also friendly with animals. I have experience with all types of animals all are welcomed! My goal is help others in need and save animal lives. I work part time at a family owned jewelry store and they are all pet lovers as well. I have a flexible schedule and we are usually closed for holidays. When I go to a clients house to walk their dog or just do a drop in I make sure everything is taken care of. Pups come first and I always ask the client if they need anything additional done around the house. I don’t mind cleaning or helping out. I can take care of other animals such as hamsters, Guinea pigs, reptiles, birds, fish, etc. before leaving a clients house I make sure all doors are locked, the pups are good & settled and the home is secure before heading out. For clients to feel comfortable I do take lots of pictures and videos of their pup and if they want to FaceTime their pup I’m fine with that too.
“Marie Louise has been a life saver ! She is kind, easy to communicate with, and reliable. She takes such good care of our Sadie girl. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of care !”

About: I have had several dogs in my life . I love dogs and enjoy my two cavapoos ! My daughter loves animals and would enjoy watching other dogs I work from home . I am available for day drop offs or over night boarding . Please don’t hesitate to ask and I will work to fit in watching your dog 🐶 I have a fenced in yard . I have a crate if needed . My dogs are part of the family and treat them as so. I will provide lots of love and treats !!

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience! Besides when I have to go to the gym, or when im on vacation. I have a fenced yard and a specific place for them to use the bathroom outside, and also have a pee pee pad inside that I switch out twice a day.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10. From our family cats and dogs, I’ve learned everything from training to grooming and even helping cats give birth. I got my own personal dog at the age of 20 where I had to train him from the very beginning . It was difficult at times but very rewarding. Seeing him being able to listen and obey even in stressful situations gives me joy… I work part time so I am home more often than I’m away . This allows me to take care of my animals and continue their training. If I’m staying in your home, I will do my utmost to take care of your pet and make sure he has an amazing time. I know being away from your animal can be stressful and frightening so my only concern is making sure that you and your pet is as comfortable as possible. So when you come back, your pet is happy and relaxed to see you. I will follow your instructions when it comes to taking care of your pet and if for some reason, there is a change I will let you know immediately.

“Excellent experience with Morgan. She is extremely professional, flexible and communicated very well. She helped us when I was not home during the day time and walked our puppy several times. Morgan will be our first choice going forward.”
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life and I want to be able to offer more! I would love nothing more than to get your doggo outside! I currently work full time night shift but only have to work 3 days a week, so I am always off the other 4! Even when I am working I don’t sleep the best during the day, so I would still be available some of my working days as well! Always have my dog/ or your dog on a leash when walking for your safety and their safety! I also have a crate if needed.
“Thank you Christine for sitting my kitties and all the pictures you sent with your updates. Christine was quick to respond back when I sent the request. She came over for a meet and greet before I left. Christine was very welcoming very friendly.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
