About: I have been a pet parent my entire adult life. I currently have two dogs and two cats. Our cats, Bella & Nico, were adopted from a rescue situation and both have asthma. Our dogs, Spike and Snuggles, were also rescued. Our 6 year old, Spike, came from a kill shelter. He has been a tremendous work in progress. He takes anxiety medication daily and is improving everyday. The same care and compassion I have given to my own pets I will happily share with yours. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.

About: I’ve had pets all my life and grew up taking care of them. I have been helping out friends and family with their pets since I was 12. At home I have a cat, 2 dogs, a gecko, and fish. We’ll be the walk of the town! I am a school-based occupational therapist and am off for the summer, so I’m free morning, afternoon, and evening 7 days a week! I’m a lover of all animals domestic and wild. Your dog (or cat) will have my undivided attention and be treated with the care and respect they deserve, just as I have cared for my own pets.
About: Been taking care of dogs since Covid helping my parents pet sitting. Also have 4 dogs that I’ve been pet sitting alone for about 3 years. Going for drop in visits and dog walking. Just give me a time and place and I’ll be there. I’m pretty much free most of the time so just hit me up! I make sure you give me a set schedule on what time you want them fed, walked etc. I make sure to follow your instructions thoroughly and give them medication or specialized meals if that’s what you give them.

“Joan was a great sitter for our baby, Nimer. I loved receiving daily updates on how he was doing as well as pictures and videos. We chose the boarding option, and Nimer had the best time at Joan's house, sleeping on her bed, playing in the cat tunnels, and climbing the cat trees. He also got along so well with her ferrets! Her house is free of any harmful products and is a safe space for just about any pet. Nimer will definitely be coming back when we go on our next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Carole is a very responsive sitter. She was able to accommodate a very short notice request to care for my dog for a 10-day stay. I had used Rover for several years, but this time the sitter I had used previously was unavailable. Carole provides a large and safe community environment (indoor/outdoor) for the dogs. She follows best practices with meet & greets prior to booking and gradual introductions of new arrivals to limit chaos and conflict. Also, my dog had never been in a home with cats before. I had my concerns knowing my dog has a strong prey drive for wild critters like rabbit. Carole has her home set up so the cat can retreat to non-dog territory. I appreciated the regular check-ins with videos/pics. I appreciated that Carole was very straightforward with her communication and easy to work with.”
