“Gretchen is, by far, the best sitter I've ever worked with. She took amazing care of my two cats, was incredibly reliable, informative and caring and always kept me posted on her visits. I am so glad I found Gretchen because now I know my cats are well taken care of when I go away. She is the best! Thank you Gretchen!”

“She responded quickly to request on sitting. Also meet and greet. She took time to try to get my girl to interact with her. My girl is a Mommy's girl. So tends to hide and sulk with others. I was so happy when some of the pics showed she was interacting with Kaleigh. My only negative feedback is that she came quite bit earlier at times for the bedtime feeding. I feed my girl more often actually. So was concerned about only having set feedings with other's. But I know this couldn't be done when I was gone. I hate my girl going like 12 hours til next morning feeding. To she's starved acting by then. So scarfs it down. Has thrown up to this before. But I know Kaleigh had others to care for too. Was pretty busy, and tired I'm sure. I trusted she would not only be good with my girl but reliable when did meet and greet. I'm very shocked (rather upset tbh) so many other sitters aren't being cooperative with meet at greets these days. Many seem to be difficult with the schedule needed too. Meaning they say won't know if available until later. This obviously doesn't work! Kaleigh knows you gotta plan ahead.”

“Yet again, Marisa has continued to exceed all expectations in carrying for our kitties and our home. Not only does she regularly collect the mail and packages for us, but when a bear got into our trash and spread it all over the driveway, Marisa spent time cleaning it all up before we returned home. I can’t express a higher recommendation for Marisa, we’d give her 6 stars if we could!”

“Abby was wonderful! She took great care of my cat and was super thoughtful and communicative so I always knew how my cat was doing! I will absolutely work with her again and highly recommend her!!”

“Monica was wonderful! I felt like my dog was so well taken care of, and she was in great spirits after we came back from a short trip away. We will definitely use her again!”

“Working with Niki has been an absolute blessing. I never have to worry about a thing with her around. We use her several times a week, multiple times per day. She is trustworthy, reliable, timely, flexible, and has an eye for detail when taking care of our 6 month old Sadie. Niki is simply the best!”

About: I'm a responsible and caring animal lover. I'm entering my 21st year teaching and am a trustworthy and caring individual. I grew up with dogs in my own home and have worked as a babysitter and pet sitter since I was 12. My love of travel has deterred me from getting another dog of my own (my lovely black lab passed away in 2014), but I enjoy pet sitting and house sitting for friends whenever the opportunity arises. I am available for housesititng and overnight care all week. Once the school year starts, I need to be at in the Lehigh Valley by 7:05 AM and I can leave at 2:35 PM duriing the week andI'm off over the weekend. If that works for your pet or pets schedule. I work full-time as a teacher at a great public school district in the Lehigh Valley. I must be at my desk at 7:05 AM, but I can leave the building at 2:25. I am active and love to go on walks with pups and give them the love, attention, and play they need. I'm an avid gardener who will attentively care for all living things in your home. I am neat, respectful, and detail-oriented and I'll take the utmost care of your furbabies and home.

About: Caring for pets is more than just a job for me, it's a lifelong passion. My experience goes far beyond the basics of feeding and walking. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with each pet on an individual level. I'm not just here to follow a routine; I'm here to provide a safe, comforting, and enriching experience for your best friend. I will treat your pet with the same love, respect, and attention I would give my own. You can trust that your furry family member will be in caring and capable hands. My fully remote job gives me the flexibility to create a schedule that perfectly fits your pet's needs. I'm able to accommodate a wide range of routines and am always committed to providing consistent care. If there's ever a need for a schedule change, I'll communicate with you immediately and ensure your pet's well-being remains my top priority. I can easily adapt to your pet's specific needs. Whether they're a high-energy adventurer who needs plenty of playtime or a cozy napper who prefers a quiet afternoon, I'm dedicated to providing a safe, positive environment. I'm comfortable with any setup, whether your pet is crate-trained or has a fenced-in yard. In your home, I'll always be a conscientious guest, ensuring your space is cared for while I focus on giving your pet the attention and security they deserve.

“Alec is easily one of the best sitters on this app. He is caring, considerate and timely at all times. Very responsive and trustworthy. I will continue to go to him knowing my dog will be in good hands.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all sizes since I was 12, and I’m currently on the path to becoming a veterinarian. I have hands-on experience with everything from puppy training and basic grooming to administering medication. With two dogs and three rats of my own, plus years of experience, I bring patience, knowledge, and genuine love to every animal I care for. While I have a break between school and work I have plenty of time to work with and care for your animals! I am available most days, only exception is when I am out of town for the weekend once in a while. I have a big fenced in yard as well as a puppy and a 3 year old dog to keep your fur-babies company (and myself busy haha). I do also have a crate that could be used and plenty of space and rooms in the house for separate 1 on 1 quality time if needed!

About: I’ve had the chance to grow up and learn about all kinds of animals and my love for them grew. I had the opportunity to take care of them from young ages up until senior ages and I enjoys every moment! I’m currently in school a couple days a week at night so my schedule is very open and accommodating! There are very rare instances I am unavailable. I have a leash trained 4 year old rescue that wonders around the yard. However, I like to believe taking animals from their regular routine is scary and makes them anxious. I like to make sure they have all their comfort items and normal stimulation from their daily schedule!

“Kerry was a life saver at the last minute. She asked questions and I could tell she was invested in taking the best care of my pups. She sent pictures as soon as she arrived and judging by the pics and video she sent, they loved her right away. She updated me and I felt so at ease knowing she was there. So excited to have found a trustworthy sitter and cannot wait to book her again.”

“I’ve booked Olivia several times for check-in’s and she is very reliable and always comes through for us in a pinch! Great communication and of course Sully loves her - Thanks Olivia!”

“Angela is a truly caring and dedicated pet sitter. Her compassion for pets is obvious from the start. If you need someone who will watch your "baby" and relieve any separation anxiety, from you and your baby, Angela is the person to choose.”

“Adriana was awesome very professional. Kept me updated with all actions, pictures of Rocko, playing. Excellent communication throughout her entire service giving me a stress free trip while away from home!”

About: Hi there, my name is Doug and my wife Sarah and I have been Rover hosts since 2017. Prior to this I worked as a dog trainer in the Upper Peninsula preparing sled dogs for the Iditarod. We have two family dogs - Maverick and Charlie. Maverick is a yellow lab who is neutered, and although a food opportunist he has been a great Rover ambassador, welcoming many different dogs over the years into our home. He is usually excited at first with meeting new dogs but settles pretty quickly. He tends to match the energy of the other dog. Charlie is our puppy (born on Easter 2025). He is very smart, friendly and playful! I work from home now and my wife works as a Registered Nurse. Our kids are young but have quickly learned to help welcome Rover dogs and love to care for them just as we do with Maverick. We strive to make your dog as comfortable as possible during their stay. We do request meet and greets for new clients to ensure your dog will be a good fit and also so you can see where they will be staying and ask any questions in person. We only take one client at a time. If you typically crate your dog while you are out of the house, we ask that you bring their crate for their stay. The house we live in does not have a fence so we will have your dog on a leash at all times while outside. Our dogs are on an electric fence with a collar. We have a great neighborhood for daily walks. Feel free to let us know what activity level your dog is used to as our goal is to match it with number or length of walks during their stay. I work remotely in home M-F and have off on weekends. Your dog is always taken out first thing in the morning. I like to take a walk during my lunch break, as long as the temperature is good your dog will join me. He/She will also get an afternoon bathroom break. Will also go for an evening walk, an hour or so after dinner. We crate Maverick when we are away and would ask you bring a crate if your dog does the same. We welcome dogs who roam free and ultimately seek to provide a similar routine and environment to what your dog has at home.
