“Candace was a great sitter! Her parents were helpful as well. Cassie was in good hands and was well taken care of. We were so thankful they accommodated us picking up Cassie after our evening flight.”

“Angela was great. She kept my 2 dogs knowing one was a runner and made sure she was on a lead before the door was open. She kept me updated for the overnight stay. I will use her again to take care of my dogs again. Thank you.”

“Kristen was great. Set up to care for multiple dogs outside and a huge fenced yard to stretch out their legs. If the need arises I will be booking with Kristen again.”

“A little far out but definitely worth it for our dog to have such a wonderful farm environment to roam and play. Maribel and Carl are wonderful and so attentive to dogs in their care! They carefully acclimate your dog to their farm property and then give them the opportunity to run and frolic with other dogs (on long leads). The kennel area attached to the house is a clean secure place for dogs to rest after exercise. Big plus; they send you pictures daily of the fun and rest times your dog is having! If you're looking for an adventuresome place to leave your dog while on vacation I highly recommend Maribel and Carl's farm haven!”

“Natalie did a great job taking care of Bodo! He loved all the walks she took him on and she did a great job of dealing with his anxiety. She kept me updated with pictures the whole time and I knew he was in good hands!”

“My Buster loves visiting Sherry and her family, and always comes home exhausted. That tells me he had a lot of fun. It is pretty obvious from photos that Sherry spoils him during his stay, and I love that.”

“Tulasi was so sweet and easy going. She was great at texting me back and also provided pictures of Kira during the stay. Kira came home so happy! I feel very blessed I found someone to take care of my her while I am away.”

“Amanda did a great job taking care of our pup! Loved getting pics regularly to see how he was doing since it's been a long time since he's stayed with someone other than family. Amanda took care of Blitz like he was family too.”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was 5 years old. I have always loved animals and taking care of them. My family has a poodle, a great Pyrenees and 10 cats which we all rescued from the streets. I work everyday 6 am to 3/4 pm, but as soon as I get off work I can come and spend the rest of the day playing with your loved ones. I treat my pets like gold and like the princess and princes that they are and would love to give the same care to yours. I am clean and responsible so you can have peace of mind while away that your pets are in the best possible hands.
“McKenanne took great care of my dog and was good about communicating before and during my dog's stay. Her two dogs were very friendly which helped to make my dog more comfortable and happy.”

“Jessica was very responsive and took great care of our pup! Sent us pictures/videos of his happy stay and has a great facility for dogs to play. Would definitely book again in the future!”

“This was our second booking with Rover and again we were VERY pleased with our Sophie’s stay. They loved her as we do and incorporated her into their family! They kept us updated with many pictures of her stay which was very comforting when you leave your beloved pet. We would definitely recommend this sitter and will rebook them when in the area again. A plus rating from us and Sophie!!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 6 years, including cats, dogs, and other small animals. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m comfortable handling different personalities from energetic dogs to shy or senior pets and I always stick closely to each pet’s routine to keep them happy and stress free. I’m reliable, patient, and make sure to give plenty of attention and care, along with updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re gone Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine. I currently care for two 6 month old cats and a 4 year old pit bull, so my schedule already revolves around feeding, cleaning, playtime, exercise, and supervision. I make time throughout the day for walks, litter box maintenance, enrichment activities, and check-ins. My availability is very flexible, allowing me to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s early mornings, evenings, or multiple visits per day. In my home, I maintain a clean, structured, and pet-safe environment. My cats are indoor pets with proper litter box hygiene, regular feeding schedules, and supervised playtime, while my dog receives daily walks, exercise, and social interaction. I closely monitor all pets to ensure safe interactions and prevent stress or conflict between animals. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and instructions, maintain cleanliness, provide fresh food and water, ensure exercise and companionship, and always prioritize the pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well being.
“Jessica was awesome! This was our first time leaving our two pups with rover overnight sitter and we were impressed and so grateful! Jessica kept me updated, sent pics, and responded to text immediately when I would reach out. Overall great experience, and will continue to use Jessica as our pup sitter! Thanks girl for making our babies feel welcome! :)”
“I can’t recommend Melissa enough! She stepped in last minute when my original dog sitter canceled, and she truly went above and beyond. She took amazing care of my dog, providing not just the essentials but also lots of love and attention. I could tell my pup was happy and well cared for when I returned. Melissa is reliable, kind, and clearly has a natural way with animals. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your furry family members, she’s the one!”

About: Lifelong dog owner with foster experience through rescue. Comfortable with different personalities and committed to safe, structured care. Your dog will be treated like family, with lots of supervision, updates, and understanding of individual needs. I work a full time job during the week with availability most days to come home and check on my animals during the day. I have weekends off with some on call days mixed into the schedule. I live on just under an acre without a fence at the moment. I have 3 dogs who are k9 off leash trained, however, any dogs I bring on the property get leash walked around the property for safety for scheduled potty breaks and playtime.
“Amazing kind and loving family. Amber went above and beyond her call of duty. We were out of town for a week, and Amber kept us updated on our puppy every day with cute messages and pictures. We are so thrilled with Amber, that we will want her to care for Honey in the future. She even bought a dog collar after honey chewed hers off. Thank you Amber. Honey is already missing you.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years. My first dog, Baby, taught me what true love and loyalty mean. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as farm animals like goats and even a pony! As a gentle and patient pet mom, I always treat every pet like part of my family. I’m very attentive to their needs, from feeding and walks to emotional comfort. I have experience with both playful puppies and calm senior dogs. My home is peaceful, full of love, and perfect for pets who need a safe, caring environment while their owners are away. I’m a stay-at-home mom with a calm and loving routine. I spend most of my day at home caring for my baby and our pets, so I have plenty of time to give your furry friend attention, playtime, and care. I enjoy spending time outdoors in the yard and making sure every pet feels loved and safe. I can easily adjust my schedule to your dog’s feeding, walking, or nap times I take safety and comfort very seriously. In my home, pets are always supervised, loved, and treated as part of the family. I make sure they have fresh water, shade, and space to play or rest peacefully. I introduce new pets slowly and calmly to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. I’m experienced with animals of different sizes and temperaments, so I know how to read their body language and keep them comfortable. My yard is safe and spacious, and I always stay nearby when pets go outside. Whether at my home or yours, I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
