“Jordan was beyond amazing,a true life saver she came through at the very last minute for me .At first I was skeptical about allowing a stranger to care for my baby (Choppa)let alone in my home but we broke the ice when we did a meet and greet she met my baby and I I showed her around told her his schedule and from there on I felt comfortable and so did my baby chop .She was on time answered to all messages quickly and promptly every walk she gave and expensive update with photos which I loved because it made me feel better and knowing my Choppas in good hands . she’s very professional and respectful.Jordan followed schedule made sure Choppa had enough food water took him on nice lengthy walks and even went out her way to play with him to burn some of that energy lol. I really enjoyed Jordans service and I will definitely be rebooking her she is now apparent of the family!THANKS AGIN JORDANNN!!!!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life which has allowed me to care for puppies to senior dogs on a daily basis with ease. I’m currently a full-time student in mostly online courses, which leaves plenty of time to play, walk, watch, and snuggle all of your pets with enthusiasm. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and provide plenty of love and care with lots of play time and potty breaks whether that be in a fenced yard or out on a walk.
“Natela is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. She's been walking my dog every day over the noon hour, as I am not able to make it home due to work. I come home to a happy puppy each night and I know it's because Natela does such a great job handling her. It's relieving to know that I never have to worry about leaving Natela in charge of watching over my dog and I love the updates and pictures she frequently sends me during their time together. I could tell the very first time that I introduced Natela to my dog that she was going to treat her as if she were her own, which was very comforting to me. I am beyond thankful for the help Natela has been providing me and I look forward to continuing to work with her! ”

About: For as long as I can remember i’ve been around cats and dogs which has shaped my deep love for animals. With 3 years of experience in dog walking and pet sitting for both cats and dogs I’m passionate about providing trusted, personalized care. You don’t have to take your beloved pets to an overcrowded facility when they can enjoy the comfort of their own home and feel safe 🏡 I’m am currently working part time which helps me be flexible so i’ll have tons of time to spend with your pets. This includes weekends and holidays so you don’t have to miss out on important events 🥳 When in your home, I would love to take your pets for walks, to dog parks, or anything that you already do with them to make them most comfortable! About: My husband and I love animals and we have 2 small dogs and 4 cats. We have a female Jack Russell Terrier who is very active and a male Pug mix who is mellow. I had taken care of many different breed of dogs and cats personally and for family and friends in Arizona & Boston. I have cared for my parents' elderly poodles and cats so I have experience with pets who need specialized care as well. Whatever your needs are whether running with them to simply cuddling, I am happy to spend quality time while you are away. I Look forward to meeting your pets! I work part time to spend time with our own pets since our dogs are older. I can watch your pets any time if I’m notified in advance. We have a fenced yard for the dogs but we usually take our dogs for a walk due to their high energy level so I can accommodate whatever your pets need.
About: Hi! With over 20 years of experience as a dedicated dog owner, I provide a level of care that goes far beyond the basics. I have raised dogs from the energetic puppy stages through to the specialized needs of senior care. Whether your companion is a toy breed or an XL giant, I am comfortable and confident in managing their unique temperaments and physical needs. Specialized Skills: • Medical Care: I am experienced in administering medications and managing "doggy diapers" for senior pets or those with mobility issues. • Availability for Constant Supervision: I work from home full-time, meaning your dog will never be left alone for long periods. • Total Flexibility: My schedule allows for last-minute requests and consistent updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I treat every dog in my care exactly like my own with patience, attention, and a lot of heart. Because I work from home full-time, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily life rather than being a side task. I have the unique flexibility to step away from my desk for midday walks and drop-in visits when your pet needs them most. My schedule is not '9-to-5,' which allows me to be highly reliable for consistent daily routines and remarkably responsive to last-minute requests or schedule changes that may arise during your busy work week. My flexible schedule also allows me to easily accommodate specific feeding times, medication windows, and last-minute booking requests. I treat your home with the utmost respect, strictly following all security protocols and ensuring your property is locked and safe before I leave. I’ll stay focused and vigilant during walks to ensure your pet’s safety and situational comfort. I am comfortable managing specialized medical needs, including administering medications and providing patient care for seniors or puppies. You can expect reliable communication and detailed photo updates from every visit so you have total peace of mind that your pet is being cared for like my own.
About: I have a dog of my own (toy poodle) and I’ve had a variety of dogs growing up. I’ve had an English bulldog, a Boston terrier, a Yorkiepoo, and a Rottweiler so I’m experienced with all types of dogs. I have been taking care of pets including kittens, cats, and dogs for the past 5 years. I’m currently working part time remotely as an attorney, so I’m usually home all day unless I have other prior commitments such as a piano lesson to teach. I make loads of time to play with my dog and my son, and take him for long walks and several potty breaks a day, so your pet will be getting the same care! I treat every animal who is in my care just as well as I treat my own baby, and I am very careful to follow clients’ instructions because I know how I would want my baby to be treated. I personally like the free roaming approach, because I am a guest in your pup’s home. But of course I will always respect the boundaries that you have set for them. If you let them on the furniture, they can come on up and cuddle with me! If you prefer them to be crated at night, I will respect your wishes. In the event that I do have to step out, know that I don’t like leaving my own dog home alone for more than 2-3 hours at a time so I take the same care with clients. Even if I have to go teach a piano lesson, I always make sure the dogs are fed and the dogs have gone for a potty break before I leave and I make sure I’m not gone too long!
“Raegan did an amazing job caring for my 2 large doodles which was booked somewhat last minute. She followed all instructions and I felt safe and comfortable entrusting her with my dogs!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Balm
I'm having problems with one of my knees so I'm not walking as far or as well until I get this resolved so a friend recommended I use the Rover app to find a dog walker. I saw where Rachel live near me and thought I would give her a try. I'm so happy I found her. She showed up on time and kept in communication with me via text message so I knew her whereabouts. She took pictures of my dog during the walk. I will use her again if my knee doesn't improve and I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a conscientious dog walker.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
