About: I have been a volunteer at Five Acres Animal Shelter. I walk pups of all kinds while volunteering for the shelter. At the shelter, I have developed the ability to read the pup’s body language. If a dog is uncomfortable (tail down, ears back) with another dog or person, I find a different route or positive distraction for the pup. My goal, as a volunteer, is to make life for those pups as comfortable as possible while they wait for their forever home. My husband and I have three pups of our own, our fur babies, Peanut (11), Charlie (10), and Piper (9). Do you have a pup who would like to run? I am an active runner, and I would be happy to run with your active pup! I would like to be a part-time dog walker because I love dogs, and I believe that an active pup is a healthy pup. Movement is the key to mental and physical health. I prefer to walk dogs one at a time for safety of me and the dog. I prefer to give each pet their own individual attention.

About: I have worked in dog care for multiple years and have again many skills from this. As well as gained a lot of exposure to different dogs and their needs! I do work at a dog kennel currently, but wanted to try something on my own but I would work this around my work schedule as I am only part time. Firstly I will always respect your space! I would love in-depth instructions to ensure no confusion. I will complete all tasks properly and meet all their needs. Their safety is most important as well as caring for them properly:)

About: As a family we enjoy dogs and love to play with them in our home as well as get fresh air out in our large open yard and keep active by taking regular walks. My husband and I both grew up in families with dogs and see the importance of pet care while families are away and would enjoy loving on your dog while sending updates and pictures of your dog during your travels. The relaxed environment of our home allows for dogs to roam freely and comfortably, we are home full time to give your dog the attention and love they deserve, we will play, read, relax, brush, and discover with them! We are excited to hear from you and meet our newest temporary family member!! My husband and I are hme full time homeschooling our kiddos. We enjoy the company of a pet in our home and meeting new families from around the area. We have a relaxed home environment, perfect for welcoming in your pet. We take them on daily walks around the neighborhood and have the ability to crate your pet if needed. We are a work from home and a homeschool family with 4 kids. We all love having the dogs around each day to play and love on! We take multiple walks daily with ranges that vary based on the dogs capabilities. The dogs hang out with us theoughout the day and when we are outside we have a lead for them to join us.

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was little. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a Bishon Frise. I enjoyed taking care of both animals when I was mature enough! When I was out of the house I would frequently take care of my roommates dog & cat, as well as my brothers two dogs. I now have a dog of my own, my Presley! Presley is an English Crème Golden Retriever and I love taking care of him. He’s very good with other dogs! :) I work from home, and am able to adjust my schedule when necessary. I usually take my pup for a walk/hike at least once a day. I’m able to walk the dogs together or take other dogs on one on one walks. I care for pets by recognizing their needs. I’m happy to go on walks, runs, and hikes to help get their energy out. I also have water and an on the go bowl for the dogs. I’m very attentive and promise to love your fur baby well.

About: We’ve had dogs growing up which included puppies and elderly dogs who needed extra love. Currently have one dog in our home who loves playing with other furry friends. My background is in zoology and animal care/behavior, so I am ready to take care of your fur baby! I’m currently working part-time, so I have extra time for long walks, belly rubs, and fetch marathons. Right now I’m open to boarding during the week and weekends. Plus, I work until 2pm and have time before the school bus arrives for dog walking and/or playful visits. I have a fenced in yard and one dog at home to keep your fur baby company. Plus we are a family, so kids are great playmates too. My preference is to welcome a dog that is crate-trained especially when visiting for overnights. We enjoy lots of snuggle and play time in our household!

About: I have experience, caring for both cats and dogs as I previously fostered through a local nonprofit organization. I am familiar with caring for cats of all ages and giving medication. I am familiar with caring for dogs as well. Current owner of 1 dog and 1 cat and very familiar with caring for both! My cat is 10 years old and my dog is 5 and love all people and other dogs. Would love a good walking buddy! I am available during the week M-F (early mornings or late afternoons and evenings). I am available some weekends with advanced notice. Look forward to meeting you! About: I have dogs growing up, but it wasn’t until my adult years that I really found that dogs really can be your best friends! I have a 7 year old English Bulldog rescue, Ruby, and 2 year old Miles, an Australian Shepherd mix we adopted from the APA. They each have such unique. Reds and energy levels, but at their core, it’s love, understanding, care, and some playtime! I would love to help care for your furry family members, whether that’s drop-in visits while you’re away, or walks while you’re at work. I look forward to helping you with your pet care needs! I’m currently a stay-at-home dad, and would love to add some face time with your pets to my day. I’m very flexible on weekends, weekdays are best suited for mornings and late afternoon/evenings, as we currently have one vehicle. I’m located in Ballwin, and if you’re within walking distance, I can be flexible on weekdays as well. I have experience with oral, ear, and topical medications (my Bulldog is quite the handful!), so rest easy if a little extra care is needed!

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was just a pup! I have two babies of my own and understand the importance of having a trustworthy person to support them when you can’t. My dogs are members of the family and I can ensure that yours will be the same when they’re in our care. I am fluent in walking, stimulation, play and nurture. Please allow me to go on patrol when you need to pawz! I am a teacher, so I am available to cater to your babies on weekends full time, and have limited availability throughout the week. I have the summers off, so I am also available daily to give your babies the attention they deserve! We have a fenced in backyard at our home location and two of my own dogs to keep your baby busy! Our basement has a doggy designed space created with our fur babies specifically in mind. Your fur baby will be able to roam freely and enjoy our space both indoor and outdoor. I could also easily crate your baby if that is your wish.

About: I have been a veterinary technician for 5 years and counting. Before tech school, personally I have owned pocket pets to large animals! I am willing to provide the best care for your animals whatever it may be!! I am unavailable Monday mornings, Thursdays, and some Saturdays. Please let me know what days/times work best for you and we can figure it out! I have a 3 year old Golden Retriever at home. He loves walks, playing in the yard, but also loves to just snuggle. I am primarily looking for drop ins and walks! I can also administer medications, injections, etc.

About: I have had animals surrounding me all my life. However, since I graduated in the US 7 years ago I have been taking care of my best friends’ dogs in separate occasions throughout those years. I have taken care of a total of 3 dogs, both at my friend’s place and at my place, sometimes for a few days others for a week or up to a month! My wife and I have also worked with the dogs so that they would get along with our cat Gloria, which I am happy to say it has been a success so far! I have a full-time job, so I am initially looking to help from Friday evening through Sunday evening. If I can accommodate a different schedule we can always discuss a different timeframe. The pets comfort is the most important thing for me, so building a relationship with the animal is important to me, my objective is always to become friends with the pet and care for it as if it were my own. I will always ask for an emergency contact, a vet and/or hospital phone number and address that you use. Instructions on how you want your pet be taken care of are encouraged (I provide those to people that look after my cat and I find them very useful)
