About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so I’m no stranger to the work that comes with taking care of them. I’ve helped care for entire puppy litters and have experience with end of life care as well. Over the years, I’ve been around dogs at all stages of life and have learned that no two dogs are exactly alike. I’m comfortable with the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else’s pet, and I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your dog. I have a flexible work schedule and can handle most of my work from home or my phone, which gives me plenty of flexibility to work pet care into my daily routine. About: I’ve helped raised 10 dogs: 2 samoyds, 2 golden retrievers, 2 labs, a border collie, a Dobermann, a Bernese mountain dog, and a chihuahua. I also was a door to door and pizza delivery man who Interacted with every type of dog as a stranger entering their territory. About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 4 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work two to three days a week for no more than 4 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 7 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night. I do host up to 3 dogs at a time and have a small pup of my own, so I ask that your dog is well socialized.

“Dawn was an absolute superstar!! Our dog is wary of strangers in the house, but Dawn was patient with her, and the two of them became best friends in no time. Dawn sent us daily pictures and updates during our trip, and was very responsive when we had questions. She was communicative and so sweet with our pup. And to top it off, when our flight home was delayed into the early hours of the morning, Dawn stayed an additional night.
