About: With over 12 years of petcare experience and multiple indoor pets myself, I think it's safe to say that I love animals! Situated on a 1 acre property, with a fenced front yard, this could be your pets getaway while you get away! Because I have grooming and training experience, I could be your one stop drop! I am a freelance pet artist, therefore I have plenty of time to have fun and interact with my animals! We enjoy walking in the lovely Baldwin bike trial and playing in the yard! I'm practically available all day any day! I have a fenced front yard and 4 lovely rough coated collies! My dogs are very social and love to play! Fun in the sun during the day and crated at night! For pick ups I currently have a Ruffland intermediate kennel for car rides to keep your dog as safe as possible!

Carole is overall a wonderful person. Loved interacting with her and she was also great with our puppy. My puppy is not an angel all the time since she is still learning, but Carole had great patience and understanding with her. Played with her plenty of time that she came home exhausted and slept past her dinner time. I highly recommend her if you had any doubts and your cherished baby will be in great hands.

This was my second time with her! As always, she was attentive and caring. Strangely my fur baby eats well with her despite him being a picky eater. It feels really secured to have a day care where I can trust with confidence. Will continue to use her service going forward!

Absolutely had to give Chyna 5 stars! Rocky was obviously very well taken care of! Chyna kept us updated with messages, pictures, and videos. Rocky got fed on time, played with, and even watched a movie while getting lots of cuddles! We are so happy with Chyna and her services and will most definitely be booking again! She is the best!

About: Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was surrounded by both large dogs and cats, which helped me become comfortable caring for pets of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve also cared for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors, providing feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of love and attention. I am a responsible, dependable, and compassionate caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. My experience growing up with big dogs taught me how to confidently handle larger breeds, while living with and caring for cats has helped me understand the importance of patience and respecting each pet’s unique personality. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet, along with regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾💕 As I work toward my goal of becoming a nail technician, I have the flexibility to provide attentive and dependable pet care. I’ve always loved animals, and pet sitting is a rewarding way for me to spend my time while building my career. I make it a priority to keep pets on their regular routines and give them plenty of attention, companionship, and care. I provide loving, reliable care tailored to each pet’s routine and personality. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home, hosting them overnight in my home, stopping by for drop-in visits, or taking them on walks, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. For boarding and overnight stays in my home, pets will have a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. My apartment community includes a dog park and a dog washing station, which are great amenities for active dogs. I also have two cats, so any pets staying with me should be comfortable around cats. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, playtime, medications (if needed), and lots of affection. I understand how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. I also provide regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the care they deserve. I treat every pet like family and strive to make their time with me a positive experience.

About: Animals truly are a phenomenal blessing and I strive to ensure quality care, safety, and wellness with every animal I encounter! Pet care as if you were there! Family and friends have entrusted me with their pet care since I was 16, during college, and even the military. I have experience with puppies, middle age, and senior dogs as well as small, medium, and large dogs. I’ve house trained as well as taught tricks to four dogs so far. In addition to that, I have experience with healthy dogs as wells as those with medical needs (I.e. drawing and administering the correct prescribed amount of insulin for diabetic dogs). I aim to take care of any and all pet needs whether it’s taking them on a run/walk, going to the beach, preparing meals, or just providing company. All pets are treated with love and respect just like I would my own sweet boy, Bentley. Thank you for your time and have a great day! I currently work full time, however, I’m remote and able to be flexible to provide the best care for your fur family. I’m free in the mornings, midday, and the evening after 5:30pm for feedings, walks/runs, providing company, or taking them out to do an activity. Your pet’s safety is my utmost concern! There are multiple rooms in the event your pet likes to wander or prefer a little space to themselves. If they love making friends, then I have a sweet Cockapoo named Bentley who would love to keep them company and share his treats. If your pet requires to be caged at any point during the day, then that can be accommodated. Lastly, I have video surveillance to keep an extra eye on the animals in addition to me being vigilant and attentive.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and love them all from the big lap dogs and small hand babies and a few in between. I have had all different breeds of babies with all different sad stories who are now just trying to live their best lives. I have raised puppies and cared for babies until their end of life and all the stages in between. I have raised abused babies, starved babies, drop offs, puppy mill babies and now some spoiled rotten babies. I am able to accommodate many different needs since I am a stay at home mom and I would love to help you give your babies their best life. Please feel free reach out and ask any questions. I am a stay at home mom so pet care, kid care, husband care is my routine. Most of my dogs eat 2x per day but 1 is on a special diet and has to eat 3. All of my dogs have different diet demands so I feed them all individually so adding another pup to the routine will be very simple so I can meet whatever meal time needs you have. I have a doggy door and fenced yard for potty trained pups and I still take 1 of my babies out through out the day and can help your pup with potty training if needed. My schedule revolves around whatever needs to be done. Since I am a stay at home mom most requests can be accommodated by just asking. I want your baby to feel as loved as mine. I have a LARGE fenced in yard and kids and pups for plenty of entertainment and snuggles. My big dogs are crate trained and crated at night or they would stay up ALL night playing. My little dogs sleep with me. My dogs are family so movie night and activities include everyone. I also carry pet care insurance to cover you and me.

About: I am a professional equestrian with a BA in Equestrian Studies and have dedicated my life to working with animals of all shapes and sizes. As a professional animal trainer, rest assured your pet will not come home with any bad habits (except maybe never wanting to leave!) and puppies in need of training are welcome too. As I no longer have an inside pet of my own, I am welcoming your pets over to the farm to enjoy 40 acres of doggie paradise. The entire farm is completely fenced with chicken wire so no animals can get in or out. Boarding dogs are welcome to stay in the house during working hours, but well behaved dogs may come in the barn and socialize with supervision. My experience as a veterinary technician means I am equipped to handle an emergency if needed. I am working on the farm 6 pays a week, for about 8 hours a day. However, I am able to spend time with your pet all day and can let them out as frequently as needed. Dogs that are able to spend time in the barn during the day will have my constant attention. I do not often leave the farm for more than a few hours at a time. Dogs can be as free or as confined as needed- anything from crate training, to having a room to stay in, can stay on a leash or can roam off leash (only dogs with trained recall ability). As an animal trainer, I am always practicing positive reinforcement and safe handling. Dogs under my care will be given the level of control they need based on their habits and behaviors. The entire farm is entirely fenced with chicken wire so no dogs can get in or out.

About: Big Star Pet Care was started in memorial of our best friend of nearly 10 years, a rescue pitbull who was our Biggest Star. That’s why we give everyone our Big Star Promise— to treat your animals like they are their own Big Star. I've taken care of many animals, from cats & dogs, to rodents, reptiles, birds and more. This makes my experience in animal care varied and diverse. I am comfortable with all sizes of pet and breed, as well as many different temperaments. We are privately insured with pet care professional insurance (including vet coverage)— for the utmost safety of your loved ones, so that you can rest at ease while away. We are always learning new ways to expand what we can offer to our clients. We strive to follow instructions left by the pet owner and always send plenty of photos and updates. I am comfortable giving baths and can administer oral medication if needed. Thank you for considering Big Star Pet Services, I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s). As a wife and wife team, your care will be carried out by either of us or both of us— but you can ensure top quality care regardless of who is providing it. Walks and drop ins before 8am and after 5pm are often attended by Gabrielle, while housesits are generally carried out by Mary due to Gabrielle’s full time position. Boarding care is handled by both parties. Most messages are responded to by Mary. Mary does have a standing M-F 3 hour babysitting gig from 1-4, though it often ends early. We try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. We offer a number of services; however, we do not accepts pets from more than one family at a time during boardings so that we can ensure the utmost attention, care and safety of your furry friends. We live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 6 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. We have no children or other people living in the home. We can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve, while in a comfortable space for them. Mary is dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We have experience with animals who have special dietary, medication and medical related needs.

About: I have a loving, dog‑centered home in Jacksonville, FL in the Argyle/Oakleaf area, and I’m excited to welcome friendly pups who enjoy companionship and a peaceful environment. I’ve had indoor dogs my entire life, and today my home is shared with two sweet, social pets—a gentle, spayed female Golden Retriever and a playful, neutered male Goldendoodle—who love making new friends. Because their comfort and safety matter, I only host guest dogs who are well‑socialized and able to get along with others. I don’t crate my own pups, but I’m happy to crate your dog if that’s part of their routine or helps them feel secure. Since I work from home, your pup will enjoy plenty of attention throughout the day, frequent outdoor breaks, daily walks, and all the affection that comes with being treated like part of the family. If your furry family member is friendly and enjoys being part of a pack, they’ll feel right at home here—and I will be the sole caregiver providing their care from start to finish. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine because I work from home and my own two dogs follow a consistent schedule. Mornings start with outdoor time and a walk, and throughout the day I take frequent breaks for potty trips, playtime, and attention. My pups—a spayed Golden Retriever and a neutered Goldendoodle—are part of everything I do, so visiting dogs simply join that steady rhythm. Evenings include another walk, relaxed downtime, and plenty of affection before bed. I don’t crate my own dogs, but I’m happy to crate your pup if that’s part of their normal routine. Caring for dogs isn’t an added task for me—it’s a natural part of how my days are structured, and I will be the one personally caring for your pet from start to finish. Safety and trust are at the center of how I care for pets, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m following your dog’s routine in their familiar environment. In my home, I maintain a calm, supervised setting with two friendly, well‑mannered dogs—a spayed Golden Retriever and a neutered Goldendoodle—who help create a peaceful atmosphere for visiting pups. I introduce dogs thoughtfully, monitor interactions closely, and only host pets who are friendly and able to get along with others. I don’t crate my own dogs, but I’m happy to crate your pup if that’s part of their routine or helps them feel secure. My home is dog‑safe, with controlled access to the yard, frequent supervised outdoor time, and constant attention since I work from home. When I’m providing care in a client’s home, I follow your instructions carefully and maintain your dog’s normal schedule so they feel safe and supported. No matter the setting, I am the sole caregiver, and my priority is creating a trustworthy, loving environment where every dog feels protected, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

We are so unbelievably grateful for Stephanie. This morning we were dropping our dog off at another persons house for a rover stay over, and it was not a good fit. We had limited time to find a new sitter as we had a wedding to get to. Stephanie responded immediately and took excellent care of our sweet pup. Truly so grateful for her ❤️ thank you for making us feel so comfortable.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Baldwin

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Baldwin on Rover is $33.3 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 719 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Baldwin. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Baldwin commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 719 sitters in Baldwin, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
