“Astrid loved her stay with Nautica and her 4 dogs (and cat, and chickens). She had tons of time playing outside in a big fenced in yard with other friendly playmates. She had a crate available for her to sleep in a long with a "private room" of sorts. Nautica kept me updated through the app with anything that happened and sent tons of pictures and videos showing me my baby while I was away. Would love to book again whenever we go out of town again.”

About: I am an active duty service member of the U.S. Navy and have been in for 6 years. I had two dogs of my own for 9 years before I enlisted, who were house trained and learned to respond to two languages, English and Spanish. They were taught tricks and were well behaved. I was responsible for the grooming and potty training. Every time I was able to come home, I would jump right back in the routine of caring for my babies. I enjoyed every minute of the caretaking process and the bond that I grew with my dogs. The one thing I miss is coming home and having them greet me at my door. Their is nothing like that love. My major pet care experience is knowing and feeling how special a pet’s love is unless you had one yourself. Some people treat pets as animals, I treat them like family.

As a professional animal trainer, rest assured your pet will not come home with any bad habits (except maybe never wanting to leave!) and puppies in need of training are welcome too. As I no longer have an inside pet of my own, I am welcoming your pets over to the farm to enjoy 40 acres of doggie paradise. The entire farm is completely fenced with chicken wire so no animals can get in or out. Boarding dogs are welcome to stay in the house during working hours, but well behaved dogs may come in the barn and socialize with supervision. My experience as a veterinary technician means I am equipped to handle an emergency if needed. I am working on the farm 6 pays a week, for about 8 hours a day. However, I am able to spend time with your pet all day and can let them out as frequently as needed. Dogs that are able to spend time in the barn during the day will have my constant attention. I do not often leave the farm for more than a few hours at a time. Dogs can be as free or as confined as needed- anything from crate training, to having a room to stay in, can stay on a leash or can roam off leash (only dogs with trained recall ability). As an animal trainer, I am always practicing positive reinforcement and safe handling. Dogs under my care will be given the level of control they need based on their habits and behaviors. The entire farm is entirely fenced with chicken wire so no dogs can get in or out.

About: With over 12 years of petcare experience and multiple indoor pets myself, I think it's safe to say that I love animals! Situated on a 1 acre property, with a fenced front yard, this could be your pets getaway while you get away! Because I have grooming and training experience, I could be your one stop drop! I am a freelance pet artist, therefore I have plenty of time to have fun and interact with my animals! We enjoy walking in the lovely Baldwin bike trial and playing in the yard! On weekends I have full availability. Additionally, I have experience administering monthly heart worm and flea medications, oral medication (liquid or pill), baths, and specific meal preparation. I am happy to help in anyway! I work full time but available before 8AM for morning walks, lunch time 12-1:30PM for walks, and 5:30-8PM for walks. In my own home, we rotate the dogs outside every 45 minutes. We feed our animals at 7 am and 12 pm. I can adjust to any schedule recommended by the client. We work our dogs a bit different since there are so many.

About: I have tons of experience with animals, some of which have been my own. I currently own a black lab and German shepherd and have owned a Pekinese and tabby cat in the past, meaning I’m comfortable with all sizes of pets! I have pet sat for both family and friends, with no problems each time. I have worked with dog trainers at my previous job as a pet store manager and am aware of dogs’ body language and how to properly interact with them. I am in a very unique position where I work a remote, work-from-home job. This makes me available all days except Wednesdays. This allows me to be able to work around pet parent schedules and stay longer with animals! As already mentioned, I have some dog training knowledge. I have trained both of my dogs and even my horse. I’m comfortable around any size dog and would treat each one as my own. I am well versed in handling multiple situations. I follow directions very well and will do as pet parents wish.
About: Animals truly are a phenomenal blessing and I strive to ensure quality care, safety, and wellness with every animal I encounter! Pet care as if you were there! Family and friends have entrusted me with their pet care since I was 16, during college, and even the military. I have experience with puppies, middle age, and senior dogs as well as small, medium, and large dogs. I’ve house trained as well as taught tricks to four dogs so far. In addition to that, I have experience with healthy dogs as wells as those with medical needs (I.e. drawing and administering the correct prescribed amount of insulin for diabetic dogs). I aim to take care of any and all pet needs whether it’s taking them on a run/walk, going to the beach, preparing meals, or just providing company. I currently work full time, however, I’m remote and able to be flexible to provide the best care for your fur family. I’m free in the mornings, midday, and the evening after 5:30pm for feedings, walks/runs, providing company, or taking them out to do an activity. Your pet’s safety is my utmost concern! There are multiple rooms in the event your pet likes to wander or prefer a little space to themselves. If they love making friends, then I have a sweet Cockapoo named Bentley who would love to keep them company and share his treats. If your pet requires to be caged at any point during the day, then that can be accommodated. Lastly, I have video surveillance to keep an extra eye on the animals in addition to me being vigilant and attentive.
About: I have had experience working at a boarding facility working with dogs and understand the "dog pack" mentality. I am patient and know it takes work to train our pets. I love all animals and can assure yours will be well taken care of while your away. I am very trustworthy and reliable. I have reliable transportation and am currently a stay at home mom, so I am not held back from fulfilling a need be it in my home or yours. I make adjustments to the total price of a booking depending on the overall request and what is needed not simply by the price that's listed.
About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. And the last 4 years I have been taking care of 2 Rottweilers basically on my own. I have trained dogs of all sizes and I have the patience for a misbehaving dog. Plus I love dogs to much not to want to spend time with some and take them on walks. Usually after school I have nothing to do. So filling that time in with a little pet sitting would be beneficial for me. And the extra excessive I get wouldn’t be bad at all. I’m good with the basic necessities like feeding, walking, and interacting with the dog. Making sure they are not getting into something they’re not supposed to. Definitely walks because I’m not to happy about cleaning up a dogs waste.

Almost any time of day works for me, and I’m very open to compromising and coordinating with clients to fit their schedule. I’m used to managing busy routines, so I stay organized, communicate clearly, and am reliable with consistent pet care times. I prioritize safety, consistency, and respect for every pet’s environment. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, horses, and more, and I’ve also helped train and handle dogs in different settings. I pay close attention to behavior and body language, use secure leash handling, and follow any owner instructions carefully.
About: Ive had dogs of all kind since i was very little, and i now work at pet paradise, and can even train your pups for you! I am available everyday of the week, all times of the day! Holidays need to be scheduled in advance and i will not be available on Christmas day. I have a fenced in yard and two other fur babies to keep yours company. If your dog is cage trained we have cages available, if they are trained to stay out then that works as well!

“Astrid loved her stay with Nautica and her 4 dogs (and cat, and chickens). She had tons of time playing outside in a big fenced in yard with other friendly playmates. She had a crate available for her to sleep in a long with a "private room" of sorts. Nautica kept me updated through the app with anything that happened and sent tons of pictures and videos showing me my baby while I was away. Would love to book again whenever we go out of town again.”

About: Hi! I’ve always loved dogs. Ever since I was a kid. My first pup was brought home when I was just 4 years old. I remember my dad getting home with her and thinking this white ball of fluf! ❤️ We named her sussy and had an amazing 16 years with her. I have never not had a pup since. I’ve done fostering for a few different organizations and have 3 pups of my very own, Rosco, Rex and Rambo! (yes I have them all R names on purpose lol). Rosco is 6 years young, 85lbs and is a Pit Lab mix , Rex is 5 years young, roughly 50lbs and is a Shepherd mix and my newest addition Rambo, he’s my little blue nose pitty, he’s 5 months and about 35lbs. My boys are my world and I know how tough it is on them when I have to go away for a few days so I understand what it means to your pets to feel the love and get all the hugs and kisses they are missing from their owners and I can promise you I’ll give them all the loving they can stand for during our time together! I relocated to Jacksonville towards the end of November, early December of 2020 for work where I was given the opportunity to work from home so my schedule is extremely flexible. I do a lot of meetings with healthcare providers so believe me I’m no stranger to driving around from place to place. Because my schedule is flexible and I do set my own meetings I can make most times work. I will ensure to follow the owners instruction on how their fur babies are to be taken care of. Weather it be going for walks on a leash or playing in the back yard. I will do whatever is best for your pet!
