My dog can be a little shy with new people and took some time to warm up during the meet and greet and the first visit. She stayed in her crate for about 15 minutes at first, but Sara was patient and kind, and eventually was able to coax her out for a potty break. After that initial visit, everything went smoothly. It was clear Sara respected her pace and made her feel safe. I felt completely confident in my dog’s safety and comfort while I was gone, and I really hope Sara will be available again in the future. About: I cared for 8 puppies, 6 cats, and 4 large dogs daily for a month. I house sat a week with 2 cats and 1 dog, and cared for a dachshund 3x/week for several months. I’m currently working part-time, so I should have plenty of time to play with your pups! On my free days, I’m available anytime from 8 am - 8 pm I always respect my client’s home and follow all care instructions closely. I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and stick to their normal routines, including feeding, walks, and playtime. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, meaning I would prefer meeting your animal first with the owner available for both your animals and my safety. I always follow any care instructions and routines to the tea, whether that means administering medication, sticking to a strict feeding schedule, or just knowing their favorite napping spot. I aim to make my presence calm and comforting so your pet feels secure even when you're away. I take extra care to make sure your home stays just as you left it, and your pet gets all the love and attention they deserve.

About: Hi there! I’m Damaris, a teacher on summer break, spending the season with my almost 7 year old daughter, who’s heading into first grade. We’re on a mission to stay active, off screens, and learn responsibility through something we both love: caring for animals! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, especially cats (soft spot alert!). I had my sweet calico, Petunia, for 12 wonderful years before we said goodbye in 2020. In 2021, we adopted Missy, our affectionate shelter pitbull, who’s become both a beloved family member and a great way for my daughter to learn daily pet responsibilities. I grew up in a busy household with two labs and a cat, so I’m no stranger to the joyful chaos of a pet-filled home. Whether it’s tail wags, purrs, slobbery kisses, or late-night snuggles, I welcome it all. Our whole family is active and outdoorsy, we love taking walks, going on bike rides, and would be thrilled to include your furry friend in our adventures (adjusted for their energy level, of course!). Whether it’s dogs or cats, your pets will be treated like our own with love, care, and lots of attention. Friends and family lovingly call me the “pet whisperer”, I can’t help but greet every dog I pass and offer a scratch behind the ears. As an elementary teacher currently on summer break, my schedule is wide open, which means I have plenty of time, flexibility, and energy to dedicate to pet care! My daughter, who’s going into first grade, is also on break, and we’re using this summer as a fun opportunity to stay active, learn responsibility, and most importantly, care for your pets with love and attention. It’s a great way for us to stay busy, connect with animals, and enjoy screen-free time together! At my home, your pet will have plenty of space to play and relax, we have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for running around or lounging in the sun. I also live in a walk-friendly neighborhood with access to beautiful trails near Bowl & Pitcher, so your pup will get plenty of fresh air and exercise! If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll happily walk them around your neighborhood or even take them on a hiking adventure (with your permission, of course). For overnight stays, it will be just me staying in your home, my daughter would not join for safety and comfort reasons. Whether at my house or yours, your pet will receive attentive, loving care every step of the way.

I just graduated highschool, so my schedule is open to come and take your furry friend for a walk or hang out for a while. I'm available for dog walking and drop ins from 11 am - 3 pm Monday to Friday as of right now. I have lots of energy and don't mind taking your pooch for a long walk or playing with them for a while.
