About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of a dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. About: I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.
