“Yan is very professional and nice. I brought my dog for a little tryout visit and it went very well. She gave me feedback and we discussed future visits and I was very grateful for the exchange. My dog is usually very shy and seemed to quickly warm up to Yan and her three dogs. She provided photos and also took him for a walk.”

“Excellent care. Knowledgable & experienced. I feel confident my dog is safe and socialized all day. I get great communication with videos and photos. I can drop my dog off and not have to worry about him. Thanks Carmen!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our dog, Chip. Mariah was more than accommodating and made sure to send us updated pictures of Chip playing outside. We will definitely be using her again for future trips.”

About: Hello, Thanks for checking my profile. To start, I'm always willing to review a request even if it's outside of my profile per se. So if you think that it's just slightly outside my parameters, please feel free to just send me a message, glad to chat at the very least. I am no longer accepting large breed dogs, with the exception of previous clients. If you think your dog is just on the cusp of a large breed, please let me know and we might be able to work something out. I am not boarding cats at this time, as I could not be sure I could isolate them from my other pets well enough if I had to. I’m the proud owner of two wonderful dogs: Indy, a 6-year-old Papillon, and Loki, a 3-year-old Corgi. Indy is a calm, observant pup, while Loki is playful and inquisitive, always eager for attention. I raised both dogs from six weeks of age and work from home full-time, so I’m always present to give pets the attention they deserve. Before Indy and Loki, I cared for two cats who each lived to 18 years old, providing them with a happy, well-loved life. During that time, I became experienced with administering insulin shots, pills, capsules, and liquid medications, and I’m attentive to the subtle behaviors and patterns that signal a pet’s needs. My home features multiple pet gates for safe separation when needed, a second floor for flexible space, and a large, fully fenced backyard with lush grass. I live in a quiet, flat, dog walk friendly neighborhood . While I’m not currently sitting cats, I’m happy to provide dogs with consistent care, attention, food, and any required medication. Because I work from home, I can accommodate nearly any reasonable request. I am able to take frequent breaks and often spend that time playing with my two dogs or taking them on walks. They are let out at regular intervals and fed twice a day. I can keep your pet within my view at all times while I’m home and can accommodate a crate if you prefer. During the day, my dogs usually rest at my feet or on a nearby bed until our first walk. Your pet is welcome to stay with me or lounge wherever they’re comfortable on the first floor of my home. If needed, I can separate pets by floor or with pet gates to avoid direct interactions.

About: I care for pets as if thry were family. I enjoy playing with them, understanding their personalities and emotions, and creating a safe and happy environment for them to grow and feel comfortable. I'm attentive to theri health and behavior, and I'm able to stay calm and respond respondibly in unexpected situations. My availability is very flexible. I am usually available anytime after 9 a.m., and i can adjust my schedule when needed. “Our Beagle, Remy loves going to Natalie's! She takes great care of him, she always sends me photos to check in and they are always photos of him having a blast. He comes home ready for bed which is always a huge plus. I would highly recommend Natalie as I am a repeat customer and will always use her services when I go on business trips! ”

“Wonderful experience! Mykenzie was able to accommodate Abel on very short notice, which I greatly appreciated. He spent 3 days in daycare & was well cared for the entire time. Communication was great, I received updates & he came home happy & relaxed. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs in her care. I would happily book with her again & highly recommend her to other pet parents!”

About: I’m always patient, caring, and responsible. My experience helping seniors, coaching figure skating kids, and pet sitting has taught me empathy, reliability, and how to earn animals’ trust! I’m a student, but my schedule is flexible. I’m usually free on afternoons and weekends, making it easy to give pets consistent love and attention. I make every pet feel safe and loved by following their routine, giving them plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles, and keeping their space clean and comfortable.
About: *MUST MEET ME AND MY LAB IN PUBLIC PRIOR TO BOOKING*. Although my lab, Hela loves everyone, unfortunately not every dog loves her so please set a meeting prior to booking! I'm flexible with times and locations! I offer attention to detail and love for pups. I'm the pup mom that knows all my dogs allergies and favorite foods! I've had dogs my entire life and even as a kid began training them! My friends always choose me when they are going out of town to watch their pups. I actually decided to join Rover after one of the pups I watch dads suggested I should! I work from home with my black lab who loves everyone and is a gentle soul (her 2 besties are a min pin and a golden retriever) and currently she is the only animal in my house. We take hourly stretch breaks to pee and play a little ball! I have a fenced yard with grass. If you'd like, I'll send cute pictures throughout the day too! Also if allowed, the pups go with me to get weekly pups cups from Starbs. I work from home and have a black lab, so all day everyday I do pet care. My job fortunately makes it easy to interact with thr pups and make sure their needs are taken care of. Prior to recently (they moved), I was watching a golden retriever (Duke) along with my lab every week day and his dad is who suggested I start rover as he would often say "I know my buddy is safe and happy here, he has the best of time". Currently, when we have a guest I make sure there food is prepared and on time. We take hourly potty and play breaks (more if requested - I have a buzzer my dog presses). The rest of the day the pups are free to roam the house with me. I have dog beds (including some in my office), thousands of toys (my dog unfortunately does not destroy anything lol), and when we have an overnight guest, the pups sleep in the bed with me (unless otherwise requested). I love pups and have always wanted more but babysitting is a happy medium!
“Trisha and Daniel took amazing care of my dog! They were very attentive and loving, sending updates during the day. I especially appreciated the opportunity for the meet and greet beforehand to make sure she was comfortable. Will absolutely rebook with them in the future!”

“Jennifer was excellent with our beloved pup. She was attentive and considerate to her needs and responded quickly to any communication we needed. Will definitely book with her again!”

About: I currently have Dogs and Cats and Chickens (Chickens are in secure run). For my entire life I have been devoted to Rescuing, caring for and loving animals. Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Rabbits, Goats, Horses, exotic Birds, Reptiles, Rodents, small Mammals and Fish...I love them all! I have extensive knowledge of many species and am well versed in caring for medical and special needs pets. I have worked as a dog trainer and Animal care specialist in various positions. I have fostered and rehabbed many dogs that were scheduled to be euthanized and have socialized them to a point of being placed in forever homes. I'm comfortable working with shy/nervous/fearful animals and have never failed to gently gain their trust. I trained my dear Cheyanne who passed the Canine Good Citizen test and became a Doggy Ambassador and we Volunteered for the San Diego Humane Society in a special Public School Outreach program. I have rescued many senior dogs and gave them their best life for their last years. I'm adept at administering Drops, pills, ointments, sub-cu fluids, and doggy/kitty first-aid; as well as for other species. I have worked as a Fish and Wildlife Bio. Sci. Tech and have a broad range of knowledge of many species. I would love to make a new friend in your pet and with you! I am home much of the time. I can sit in your home or mine. If it is in my home your dog must be cat friendly.. my cats are very dog savvy but dogs need to be good with kitties. I am very flexible and willing to sit for multiple animals in your home for a flat fee we agree upon..not extra per pet. (I will modify the fee after you request a booking but before you Submit payment.) I have a 6ft wood fence and dogs are never left unattended. I live near a walking trail and Park so that's an option as well. If your kitty likes walks in a stroller or being brushed; I'll be happy to spoil them.
“Orlando was excellent! He was very responsive and easy to coordinate a meet and greet. His dog and my dog seemed to coexist very well and I felt super comfortable leaving Libby in his care. Will 10/10 use again!”

Badger dog parents share their Rover experiences
Skip had an awesome day with Yan! She was so welcoming and made him feel right at home. He got to romp and play with her larger dogs and had an absolute blast — I could tell he was happy and comfortable from the photos and updates she sent throughout the day. It’s such a relief finding someone patient, trustworthy, and clearly experienced with all kinds of pups. We plan to make this a regular weekly outing for Skip.

Yan shows that she loves my dog. She sends the cutest, most beautiful photos throughout the day, which i love, and once I needed to cancel the service and she was super kind and waived the late cancellation fee. She is very flexible and easy to work with on dropping off times, and most of all, I know she respects maintaining a safe and well supervised environment.
