“Bryanna is fantastic! We’ve never felt so relieved in knowing that we have a person we can fully trust and rely on with our pups. We have a senior dog and a puppy. That combo can be a bit overwhelming, but Bryanna was able to handle them effortlessly. We know we will be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“We couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter. Thank you Rover for bringing her into our lives. Our dog is absolutely part of our family and it is hard to leave her but sometimes you have to and to not have to worry about her or our home is such a blessing. Cheryl takes care of her like we would but she just might play with her more than us! 😁. We are grateful.”

“Jasmine was honestly such a blessing… I didn’t have to worry about my dogs at all and they were absolutely loved as if they were her own. I got constant updates and I felt very comfortable that I didn’t have to worry. She was super reliable and a pleasure I would definitely book again.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and I’ve always been very hands-on with the pet care at home. I am a trusted pet babysitter amongst my family. I value the pet’s mental health and happiness especially while their owner is away. I am a part-time college student, and I work at a catering company with a highly flexible schedule, so I can work around your needs. I try to encourage a stress free environment by sticking to your pet’s normal routine while you’re away, making sure that they’re happy and healthy, as they would be under your own care.

About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I haven’t had dogs and cats. I have experience with special needs cats, currently have a tripod and one with asthma. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their animals when the need arises. As for dogs… well, they can’t speak, so the obvious form of communication is belly rubs ;) As the son of a Veterinary I have been exposed to all types of animals and situations my entire life and given the opportunity I am confident I can manage all of your fur baby’s needs! I currently have a flexible schedule which allows me the freedom to work around your needs. Rather it is a daily walk, feeding, park play, or house sitting for date night or a getaway I have you covered. I am currently offering services at your home as to accommodate all of your fur baby’s daily routines and needs whenever the need arises.
“Sharon was very personable and comfortable to be around. My dog, Apollo, loved her the second he met her. She took great care of him and treated him like he was her own dog. I highly recommend her.”

“Kelli was fantastic! She was great with Hazel, she provided updates and pictures. I really appreciated the pictures she left too! I would definitely recommend Kelli.”

About: Hi! My name is Krystal and I’ve had pets my entire life. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. At the moment I offer Drop-In Visits and Dog Walking only. I’m located in Spring Hill, FL and usually require bookings 24–48 hours in advance, though I’m happy to help with last-minute requests if my schedule allows. During visits I make sure pets get the attention and care they’re used to at home. This includes feeding, refreshing water bowls, cleaning cat litter boxes, and spending quality time with them so they don’t feel alone. I also send photos, videos, and detailed notes after every visit so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m comfortable working with pets that require special care or medication, including diabetic pets that need insulin. For dogs that need to burn energy, I offer walks ranging from about 0.5 to 2.5 miles, usually scheduled early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the Florida heat. For longer bookings (about 7 days or more), I like to spend extra time during visits whenever possible so pets get additional attention and companionship, always with the owner’s permission. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away. I work as a graphic designer from my home so I'm able to watch over your pets at all times and even do long term drop in checks on pets, and Pet Walking services. We have an unfenced home, but very big yard. I leave my dogs to roam, as they already know how far they can go. As for other pets, I’d walk them and keep them on leash if we are to spend some outside time
“What an awesome sitter. Zeus and Holly adored her and usually when we are gone, she won’t eat. But with Makayla she was eating and being herself. We received pictures and updates, house was perfect. Will definitely be using her again and again and highly recommend her!! Thank you!!”

“Kristen was a delight to work with , she kept me up to date on the progress of my dogs while I was away. She paid attention to detail of instructions I left , she was prompt and I appreciate her loving care for Roscoe and Lula , if you need a sitter you can count on her , thank you Kristen and thank you Rover”

“Sam is amazing! One of my dogs is extremely anxious and Sam took the time to gain her trust, which really put me at ease. She did a few drop ins prior to the house sitting which really helped get the dogs used to her. She took great care of all three dogs and my house while I was on vacation. I will definitely book with her whenever I travel.”

“Giovanna recently stayed at my house to watch my dog. I was nervous about leaving him but she was very communicative and sent me picture updates. My dog is a bit timid and she was great about letting him warm up to her on his own terms. Thanks again!”

“Another wonderful sitting with our cat Hope and Janicia! Hope is a very needy cat, that craves company and gets stressed without human interaction. I appreciate that Janicia was able to stay with her for two weeks during the December holidays. We came home to stressed free cat!”

“Alyssa was amazing! She was available for me last minute when there was an emergency and showed so much empathy to the situation at hand. Alyssa went above and beyond letting me know when my pup had every meal, when she was playing, and sent so many pictures and videos throughout the stay that put me at peace. I will be using Alyssa for all my my care needs!!”

About: Hi, I'm Johnnie! I have a background in Human Services and Counseling, so attentiveness and genuine care come naturally to me. I've helped look after family and friends' pets and understand the trust it takes to welcome someone into your home. I specialize in house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I show up on time, send regular photo updates, and treat every pet like my own. Looking forward to meeting yours! 🐾 Your pet is my top priority throughout the day and even at night no matter what! If I eat your pet eats if I go out for a walk most certainly your pet will be walking with me! Your pet will always align into my schedule perfectly synced. In my home I only hope that I am provided a thorough explanation of what type of care and personality your pet has so that I may adjust myself accordingly. Having the supplies needed to care for your pet is also a huge relief and is appreciated. In your home (should you allow me to) caring for your pet in your home is right next to caring for your pet in the president's own house, I'll settle for nothing but giving my best for you and your pet.
About: For 2 years I’ve took care of my neighbors dogs by letting them out, feeding them and playing with them. I love animals and I grew up in a household filled with animals. I believe a dog is a humans best friend and I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and your animal! I currently work nights at publix as a grocery stock clerk. I am very flexible and will be able to let your animals out and care for them whenever you need. I would love your trust to take care of them. I take my dog milo for a walk everyday when I get home so that way he gets most of his energy out and then he will lay down and relax for a little bit before wanting to play. I feed him twice a day and give him a bath once a week.
About: I've had dogs since I was a little kid. I have always had my own dogs and I have fostered several dogs over the year. I have owned cats just don't have any right now. And I have owned exotic birds and currently own an Amazon parrot. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their furry children over several years. I love learning more about the dogs and teaching them tricks. It is an amazing experience to see how they develop. I currently work full time from home, and only have to go into the office every other Wednesday. I have plenty of time for multiple breaks for walks. I have two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. I currently do not have a crate in the house. I am okay with your dog sleeping on the couch or bed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ House & Pup Sitter Review We knew right away she was the perfect fit — she even asked to do a meet and greet before booking, which told us how seriously she takes caring for pets. That alone got her the job. She stayed with our pups for a full week and treated them like her own. She sent us pictures and updates, kept them happy and loved, and left our home absolutely spotless. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We’re so grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. Highly recommend!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ayers walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ayers maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ayers choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ayers. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
