About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. About: I’ve taken care of just about every dog breed since I was 13 years old. I absolutely love what I do. I’ve dedicated my life to taking care of dogs and loving them and being there for them. I go by the rules so anything the owner wants me to do, I do. I’m very good with sticking to schedules. I am very comfortable with bathing and giving dogs their meds, so if your dog has a medication that he/she needs to take I can do that. If I see that something is wrong with your dog I give phone calls right away to update you so that way you’re aware of your dogs well being. I take pictures and video’s to make sure that you can see how your dog is doing and that they’re in great care with me. I am currently unemployed. I’m a stay at home mom so I am always home. I only have one child and he’s usually with my husband in his man cave so I have all the time in the world to care for your fur babies. I have an unfenced yard and two amazing dogs at home. They responded almost instantly. Amazing communications and very responsive. The facility is incredible. Very clean. Sheltered. A double perimeter fence. Motion activated spot lights. Our dogs were secure and we felt very comfortable leaving them there for the day. We received updates and photos throughout the day which made us happy to know our dogs were visibly relaxed and comfortable in a new environment. When we picked them up the dogs were clearly happy, tired, relaxed, and definitely appeared to be smiling! We would not hesitate to use Chris and their spouse again. Amazing people. About: On top of pet sitting and dog walking prior, I have volunteered at a humane society, giving me experience with a variety of pets and temperaments. I'm a current college student, so I have plenty of time outside of classes to take care of your beloved pets as needed whenever you may need me. About: Hi! I'm Bayley! I am currently a Licensed Veterinary Nurse in the state of Florida and New York. “Tahrena was such a blessing for us and our puppy Woody on a recent stay. We actually had another sitter booked for Woody for 9 nights while we went out of town for Thanksgiving but of course the morning we were supposed to drop him off (and they day before our flights), he woke up sick with some GI issues. A trip to the vet later it was confirmed he had an intestinal parasite and was sent home with 4 different medications. Our original sitter was understandably not comfortable taking him and cancelled the booking leaving us just hours to find an alternative. Between phone calls to boarding facilities and messages to sitters on Rover, my husband and I must have reached out to over a dozen different people before we finally reached Tahrena! The true mark of an animal lover is someone with the compassion to love and care for a sick animal in need. With very few questions asked she accepted the booking - sick puppy, multiple medications and all! I hated leaving him sick but she was so warm and loving from the start. I knew he was in good hands and my family and I were able to enjoy our trip without worry or concern that he wasn't beeing loved on and taken care of while we were away. We got regular updates throughout his stay and would absolutely book with Tahrena again. Nothing beats having a go-to sitter you know you can depend on! Thank you again Tahrena (and family)!!”
