About: I own a dog myself and have raised her and trained her on my own since I was 14. I love being surrounded by all types of dogs and their own little personalities. I’m a college student, so with the summer starting I want to dedicate my time spending it with dogs! I enjoy taking them on walks to give both of us some exercise! I care for my own dog by prioritizing activness. She loves to go outside, with our fenched in backyard, and we play with a ball. I also love taking her for walks. But outside time isn’t always available, so I like to teach her new tricks or (gently) play with a toy inside. I think it’s also important to prioritize their health, making sure they eat and drink plenty of water.

I have found a passion for being kind and loving to every dog I meet. I’ve noticed I’m naturally great at bonding with dogs and gently helping with training. What better way to fill my cup than by spending time with animals while helping people feel confident their pets are truly cared for? I currently have two dogs: JT, a Jack Russell Beagle mix, and Miss Kahlani Ann, a 3 year old Rat Terrier Corgi mix. I adopted JT when he was 5 years old and have helped him adjust to stairs, car rides, and a daily routine that includes dog park visits. Kahlani Ann keeps life fun with her playful personality and energy. Before them, I shared 10 incredible years with Stewart, my soul dog, who joined me for road trips, everyday life, and miles of running together. Stewart shaped not only my love for animals but how I love them: deeply, patiently, and fully present. I also had a dog named Hoagie for 17 years. He sparked my lifelong love for dogs and taught me just how special the bond between people and pets can be. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors needing gentler attention. As a teacher, I bring calm energy, structure, and clear communication to every interaction. Whether your dog needs exercise, affection, or quiet companionship, I treat each pet like they’re my own. I truly understand the emotions that come with leaving your dog because pets are family. I’ll always go above and beyond to give you peace of mind and make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and cared for. I’m currently off for the summer, which means I have full availability for pet care — especially daytime walks and drop-in visits. This is the perfect time for me to give your pet consistent attention, playtime, and companionship while I build a strong routine with these services. I'm currently focusing on getting drop-in visits and walks running smoothly and will always do my best to work around your pet’s needs and your schedule. When I care for pets in their own home, I treat the space with the same respect I would want for mine. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules to gate locks — and take time to learn your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I do love to be outside and play with our pups if they won't leash walk as well. We will spend the time together! I make sure doors are locked, leashes are secure, and that your pet is never rushed or overwhelmed. I build trust by being consistent, calm, and communicative. Whether it's a walk or a drop-in, I always take time to greet your pet with warmth and patience so they feel safe while you're away. I also send updates and photos, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a positive, low-stress experience — one where your pet feels loved, and you feel peace of mind.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and animals hold a special place in my heart . I’m currently a Pre-Veterinary student at the University of Central Missouri, and for the past five years, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant at Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic, where my dad is a veterinarian. I’ve also been pet sitting for the past two years, caring for pets of all ages—from playful 10-month-old to sweet 12-year-old seniors. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic dogs, and I always make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I truly consider the dogs I care for as part of my extended family, and I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend and give them the same love and attention I’d give my own. I currently work part-time as a veterinary assistant, and I’m typically available every day except Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On those days, I occasionally have morning or afternoon availability, and I’m always available after 6 PM. I offer in-home care, boarding, and drop-in visits. Even on my busiest days, I always have a lunch break, so I’m never away from pets in my care for more than six hours at a time. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priority, and I strive to provide dependable, loving care at all times. I have a fully fenced yard and one friendly Great Dane who can be easily kenneled or separated as needed. My home also features a dedicated, dog-proofed room that’s perfect for free roaming and playtime. About: What sets me apart is my reliability, patience, and ability to make pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels, including senior dogs and anxious pets. I make sure pets stay on their normal routine, get plenty of attention, and care, and I always keep owners updated with messages and pictures so they feel confident their pets are in good hands. Since I am currently on summer break, I have a fairly flexible schedule and free time to dedicate to pets throughout the day. This allows me to give dogs consistent attention, exercise, playtime, walks, and care while keeping them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, bathroom breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. I also keep the home clean, provide updates and pictures to owners, and make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their family is away.

About: I’ve grown with cats since I was 4, my husband and I have 4 cats of our own along with a lab, she is our second Lab since 2010. I love to love on our furry friends that The Lord has created for us and to help take care of them. With cats-feeding, scooping/changing litter boxes. With dogs walking them and playing. With both loving on them. While my husband is in the profile picture, he will not be assisting with care. Currently I am not employed so my schedule is pretty open and flexible during the week, to either stop in for a quick need or if the owners are gone for a week or weekend. While this picture is of me and my husband, he will not be assisting with the care of your animal. We let our cats have run of our home and with our lab she is kennel trained, if my husband and I are gone for 24 hours or more we board her. With our cats we have one of my sisters or friend come and drop in to check on them and feed them.

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 7 and dogs since I was 17! Friends and family have trusted me to take care of and walk their dogs when they need. I am also a zookeeper at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium and have two cats of my own! I work full-time at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium, but I am available wednesday evenings, thursdays, and fridays to give your pets all the time, attention, and care they need! During drop by visits, I will make sure your pet gets a potty break, food and water if needed, and lots of love and attention!

About: I have had experience with cats my whole life, dogs about half. I own two cats and have had them since I was born, but I have had friends and family with dogs along the years. I pet sit often for my Uncle and Aunt for their three dogs, and other family members for their dogs and or cats. I have plenty experience walking dogs, taking them outside, cleaning up after both animals (litter boxes or not), as well as both playing and feeding them! I am currently working part time, so I will have a decent amount of time to care for your pets! My timeframe does vary, but I am very punctual and flexible with my times. I am unavailable most every Sunday, but I will always let you know what works best for me so I can help you out! I love getting to know their personalities and sitting or playing with them, no matter how mellow or how excited! It is very important to me that I learn their boundaries and behaviors so I can give them my best care, like offering my hands out for them to smell or standing or sitting a certain distance away from them until they are comfortable with me.

About: I am home all day with my dog , the gentle giant Charlie, and my toddler. I take them to go on walks, play in the backyard, and everything in my house is baby proof and dog proof. My last dog would randomly be dog aggressive so I know how to handle those situations. I’m always excited to meet a new dog. I’m home full time so my day consists of hanging out with my toddler and dog. I have a very open schedule and can pick up pets if needed. I treat pets with respect and love. I use positive reinforcement (treats/praise). Every pet has their own personality and quirks that are so fun to learn about. I will also abide by any rules you have in place for your pet since consistency is important for a dog.

About: Hello! My name is Mak! I am a dog lover and enthusiast! I've had animals growing up my entire life and I have four pets of my own; two cats, a Pembroke corgi, and a black lab. We can't wait to meet your best friend! I'm sure we will have lots of fun with activities, car rides, and more. I have led two pets through therapeutic trainings, have cared for over 55 pets through Rover since 2019, and have the resources to ensure your baby is comfortable while you’re away. Put your buddy in good hands when you can't be home and enjoy knowing your best pal is at a safe place. I currently work from home so I am here for your dogs all day! We start the day with breakfast, potty breaks, play time, then we nap a bit; next we have lunch/ dinner and play some more! I have a large sized fenced in back yard. I also have two dogs of my own. We will take naps, snuggle, play fetch, go on car rides, to the park or nature, and enjoy a few snacks. :)

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and like most people, I love them. I am mom to Cooper, an almost 2 year old Cocker Spaniel/Border Collie mix. He is a shy, fearful, and anxious dog but he is becoming more and more outgoing and playful every day! I have years of experience with all types of dogs as my aunt fostered for Wayside Waifs and had no fewer than 3 dogs of her own at all times. From puppies to seniors, small to large, I’ve spent time with all of them. I currently live with my sister and her dog, Nala, who is a 4-year-old German Shepard mix…an energetic one! I am a substitute teacher and can help out after 3 o'clock on weekdays and most weekends! I would not be able to check-in in the mornings or in the middle of the day as I will be at school. I have personal experience with bathing dogs, crating, giving pills to dogs, walking, and more. I have looked after multiple friend’s and family’s pets for the past 10 years and as stated above, have experience withal a range of dogs!

About: I am a 35 year old accountant that lives Lee’s Summit and works from home full time. I have a 6 month old labradoodle puppy named Alabama who keeps us on our toes. She loves to play and has quite the personality. She has never met a dog she didn’t want to be friends with. I also have an 8 year old Great Dane that is more on the senior side. She mainly sleeps and doesn’t interact much. We have a 2 year old and a 7 year old that are with us part time but they are very well versed in being around new pets. I am a big dog lover and am excited to meet new fur ‘friends’. I am very active and have many years of experience with my own pets. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members and will treat them as such.
