“I really appreciate Heathers flexibility. Our dog is older and he’s slowing down, he spends a lot of his time sleeping in his bed. Heather spends a lot of her visit watching him sleep in his bed. But when he wanted to spend a little extra time outside this morning, Heather was nice enough to accommodate him. I love how she actually cares about my dogs and understands his moods.”

“I recommend Tiffany 100%! She was quick to respond to my request but, most of all she was patient with our dog,Ace, who is reactive to strangers and barks. She sends updates and keeps me posted on how they did each walk.”

About: my current dog has suffered with an abusive owner before I rescued him and before he did not want me to touch him or pet him but now he never wants to be let go! lol I personally think it will help me so much to be more responsible with my daily routines and to learn also to be an adult now that I'm 18. But of course there is nothing to worry about because I will take care of your dogs like they were my own! Your dog gets a secure, loving space at my home with constant supervision, a fenced yard, and my full attention the entire stay. He/She will enjoy their time here at my home.

About: Your pet will be cared for like one of the family. I have a big yard for them to play in and I have plenty of comfy spots for them to lay in, and I have plenty of toys for them to play with. Whether I come to your house or you come to my house your pet will be safe, sound, and happy! I will give extra attention to your pet if I am dog-walking or just visiting with your pet. I will provide pictures and videos for the owner's peace of mind. Seniors are welcome and encouraged to apply as they will be properly spoiled rotten. Puppies are welcome but prefer that they are potty trained first. Can work on basic commands with all. I am semi retired. I have time in my day to spoil the fur babies! My schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of both my fur babies and other fur babies visiting. All pets are in the pack. They go outside often and go on one to two walks a day. They can sleep on the furniture or beds. All are fed on a schedule and treats or bones are provided.

“What a great experience! We came home to a happy and calm dog thanks to the great walks he had with Victoria. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our dog! We'll definitely use your services again.”

“I can’t recommend Nay enough! She took amazing care of my dogs, Queenie and Kuma, all last week, and I’ll definitely be using her moving forward. She was incredibly receptive to my requests, especially walking them separately due to their reactivity, and my dogs warmed up to her right away. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while I was at work. Plus, they clearly looked forward to seeing her every day! If you’re looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring dog walker, Nay is the best choice.”
“MikhAila listens to what our boxer would like to do and then meet his needs whether it’s play with the toy whether it’s sit next to him and rest or take him for a long walk. I really appreciate her. She’s on time she communicates she sends pictures. Thank you so much Michaila!”

“Stephany is an awesome! She is organized and professional. She responds quickly and provides thorough updates. I can tell she cared about our pets. I would highly recommend Stephany to take care of your pets.”

“Laura is seriously so fantastic! My dog loves her, she's communicative, and she's adaptable, coming though for me even on last-minute requests. So grateful I found her!”

“Trevor went above and beyond while caring for my pups! He was patient, attentive, and made sure they were comfortable and happy the entire time I was away. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such great hands. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!”

I currently spend most of my time studying at home and taking care of your pet would be a wonderful break for me. I am available for in house boarding as well as coming over for regular walks. I completely understand the responsibility and trust needed to leave your fur babies and your home to someone else, and I will work hard to preserve that trust and take care of both. I will send regular updates so you can be at ease that things are going well.

“Christine is wonderful she took her time to be sure that our Gracie was comfortable with her before taking her for her first walk. I feel Gracie is very well taken care of.”

“Logan was an excellent dog walker. She treated our dogs so well, especially our one who has a lot of anxiety. Logan made her feel safe and was able to have good rapport with her quickly! We will definitely reach out to Logan in the future for more walks.”
About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, so I'm comfortable with any size or personality. Their safety is non-negotiable — when I was in the Peace Corps and realized the environment wasn't safe for the dog I'd adopted, I sent him back to the U.S. rather than risk it. That's the same care I bring to every walk and every stay. I run regularly, so your dog gets an actual walk, not a lap around the block — they'll come home tired and happy. I also have my own dog, so walks might come with a buddy, if you're up for it. Pet care isn't something I fit in around my day — it's already part of it. I have open availability across mornings, afternoons, and evenings, so your dog's walk or visit isn't squeezed into a narrow window between other commitments — it's a real priority, not an afterthought. I also have my own dog, so daily walks, feeding schedules, and reading a dog's mood or energy level are already habits, not extra tasks. Your dog's care gets the same consistency mine does. I show up on time and stick to your dog's usual routine — same leash, same route, same pace, unless you'd like something different. I watch their energy and body language throughout, not just for safety, but to actually read what they need that day. Before I go, I make sure water's out and everything's left the way I found it. I also send a quick photo or update after the walk, so you know exactly how it went.

About: As a dog walker and sitter, what sets me apart from others is my genuine love and passion for animals. I am not just doing this job for the sake of it, but because I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and providing them with the care and attention they deserve. I know how to administer medication and insulin. I have training skills/experience and can help train your dog in leash. I believe in creating a strong bond with the dogs I work with, understanding their unique personalities, and tailoring my services to meet their specific needs. I make sure to provide a safe and comfortable environment for them, whether it's during walks, playtime, or overnight sitting. Additionally, I have extensive experience in handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am trained in dog behavior and body language, ensuring that I can effectively communicate and understand their needs, even in challenging situations. This enables me to provide a calm and confident presence while working with them. Furthermore, I prioritize open and transparent communication with pet owners. I keep them updated about their furry friend's activities and any noteworthy observations during my time with them. This helps to maintain trust and allows owners to feel at ease knowing their pets are in good hands. I am working from home with my own startup business, with that being said, I am able to travel and be flexible and, most importantly dependable. I prioritize the care and safety of the pets entrusted to me. Firstly, I make sure to create a pet-friendly environment by removing any hazardous objects or chemicals that may harm them. I also provide a comfortable and secure area for the pets, ensuring they have access to food, water, and a quiet place to rest. Additionally, I closely adhere to the pet's feeding and exercise routines, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. Regularly monitoring them for any signs of distress or illness is a top priority, and I promptly address any concerns by contacting the owner or seeking veterinary assistance if necessary. Overall, I approach pet sitting with utmost responsibility and dedication, ensuring the welfare and safety of the animals under my care.
About: My wife and I currently have 3 large dogs and 1 cat, I’m great at handling multiple dogs on walks! I’ve cared for animals who needed daily medication and extra attention, adopted and raised a pregnant cat providing care to her and her kittens until they could be adopted, and have provided palliative care for senior dogs and cats. I’ve always loved animals; I have owned everything from frogs to finches, I studied biology at university, and I volunteered at wildlife rescue centers for years. One of my favorite experiences was helping several abandoned raccoon kits by providing feedings and keeping their space clean and quiet. Helped with keeping animals calm while the vet performed diagnostics. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to check in on the pets when you’re away as often as you’d like. I am gentle and patient with dogs and cats, my pets are my kids, I walk mine daily and really look forward to seeing their happy faces all the time

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Aurora Highlands
Leanne watched Faith during the afternoons all summer, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She was incredibly kind, reliable, and so understanding of Faith’s disability and her little foot. On days when Faith wasn’t feeling up for a walk, Leanne always found other ways to enrich her day, give her attention, and make sure she was happy and cared for. Faith absolutely adored her, and it was such a comfort knowing she was with someone who genuinely loved and understood her. We will dearly miss having Leanne as part of Faith’s routine. Thank you for everything! ❤️🐾

I cannot recommend Kiana enough. She was prompt in our initial request as well as our subsequent encounters. She was extremely professional and organized a meet and greet to make sure we were all on the same page. She’s also adept at using Rover and I felt consistently in the loop. I am pretty sure our dog Koko had more fun on her walks with Kiana than she does with us!

Angela is absolutely wonderful! This is the first time we’ve left our dog without feeling guilty or anxious. Angela agreed to walk Scout twice a day while we were out of town. She went above and beyond with taking the best pics of their walks and giving us the rundown on Scout’s antics. Thank you, Angela, for taking such great care of Scout allowing us to thoroughly relax.

Lauren knows pets. Her experience with various humane societies helps her understand my puppy. She’s always on time and always has a smile. My dog adores her. Better than that, my dog comes back happy and tired! They cover a lot of ground in a gal hour. I definitely recommend Lauren!

KaVina is so helpful. I can’t always walk so she helps me with the bigger dogs so I don’t get yanked. She also helped give medication when I had an emergency and was not able to get home in time. And she’s very flexible on time. Morning, evening, lunch she makes time for me and my pups’ needs.
