“Kathy and Tim are trustworthy, lovely people that will care deeply for your pet. They are a pleasure to speak with, knowing your dog will be in great hands. I would without a doubt book with them again.”

“Ellen and Mike took amazing care of our Cooper over our wedding weekend! We could tell he was loved and had lots of fun, and they sent us daily updates with pictures to see how happy he was with his friends. Would book again 100%!”

“Samantha was fantastic. She took great care of my older German Shepherd, Raven, which included special food and morning and evening medications. She checked in multiple times with pics which made me feel good and confident that Raven was in good hands. I'm already planning my trip next year and hope Raven can hang out at Samantha's again! Thank you!”

“Arya is fabulous with our dogs. We have a pup and a senior dog. He is gentle with both of them and adjust their walking schedules to accommodate both fur babies. We trust him with them. They even recognize when they're going to his place and they know him. It's great to see their reaction.”

“Susan took great care of our little dog! She was very loving and sent pictures regularly. She is also very responsive to texts and calls. I would definitely book her services again.”

“Our dog is not easy to watch, but Dixie was went above and beyond. She immediately welcomed Fred into her home and treated him like her own. I really appreciated the updates during his stay, and he honestly didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend Dixie and hope to be able to book again.”

“Kim watched Sir Sparklepuff for 17 days, following our relocation. We had been worried about leaving him at such a transitional time, but she made the extra effort of meeting him prior to his stay with her, first in our home, then in her own. His stay seems to have gone quite well -- he was returned to us happy and well-cared for. Kim also sent us daily photos which were absolutely remarkable -- professional quality! She clearly spent time connecting with him, and playing with him. We are sure to use her services again, and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Excellent communication and dog-loving household for boarding. Our dog was well taken care of by Cate and family, who welcomed her along with their 2 nice dogs. Great location for us. Everything worked out great and we'll be returning soon!”

“We are so grateful to Maxine! She took care of our pup on short notice when we had an emergency. Archie had a great time and we were relieved he was taken care of while we were away.”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
“We'll definitely be returning to Destiny for our puppy sitting needs. She was extremely communicative and sent daily updates including numerous pictures, which not only were adorable but also gave us confidence to not worry about our little guy. Our pup was very happy after we picked him up and we didn't notice any kind of regression in puppy behavior (which we were worried about due to his being 7 months old). We highly recommend Destiny. You're fur baby will be in great hands!”

“We had a lovely experience with Andrea! She was very easy to coordinate with and responded to communications promptly, and we returned to a happy and relaxed dog. Thank you again.”

“Samantha was amazing! She was able to help me out last minute and was super communicative! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the pets she cares for. Highly recommended!”

“Willow has a new best friend in Ray! Ray was very attentive to her needs and to ours as we had to extend Willow's stay due to a medical procedure. He took Willow out for walks and made her feel comfortable in a new setting, even working from his home to keep her company. I would book with Ray again.”

“Aaron and Kaylee were very kind and helpful in taking care of Ellie for the four days I dropped her off for. They sent pictures of Ellie playing with the other dogs at their home, showing what a good time she was having. After picking Ellie up and bringing her home, she immediately took an extended nap, definitely exhausted from having so much fun during her stay there :) I'll definitely be using their service again next time I'm in need of a babysitter!”

About: Hi Neighbors, I am a Natural World Enthusiast looking to provide support to pets and their owners in the community. My heart is geared towards animals. I have decades worth of experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets, from my own to friends and clients in the professional setting. My goal is to provide a sense of physical, mental, and emotional well being for your pet. I am here to help fill in the gaps in your busy schedules and be there. So whether your pal needs a hike, walk around the neighborhood, a feeding, medication dose (dogs and cats) or just a visit, I have your back. We all need movement, attention and praise, pets included. I use positive reinforcement as training method, for all pets at every stage. So whether you have a puppy with some aggression issues, a husky that needs a run, a diabetic cat, fish to be fed and admired, or an stinky old man dog that just needs to be sung to and told he's a good boy I am here to serve. I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.
“Friendly, open, took the time to show me her house so I felt comfortable leaving my special girl there overnight. Excellent communication and picture updates. I felt very much at ease knowing my pup was being cared for. I will absolutely use Chantal again!”

“Heather was super responsive when asking about sitting my pups at the very last minute, and we are super appreciative! She sent pictures of my pups everyday, and checked in with us daily to let us know how they were doing. I could tell they both had a great time, and we would use Heather again!”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Aurora home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
