About: I have grown up around dogs, specifically seniors who are on medication or are insulin dependant. I have experience with training as well, having trained my own service dog who went to college with me. I also have raised rabbits and guinea pigs for around 8 years and have shown them acrossed the country. At the moment I'm on break from college, I have a lot of avaliable time. I'm willing to work with you and make sure your pet gets all the attention they deserve! My own dog and I go for several walks a day and we play a in the lake. I have a long haired GSD so he gets groomed daily and loves to sleep in his bed! I plan to provide similar enrichment for your animals such as mind games on rainy days and lots of walks when it's nice outside.

About: I’ve dedicated my life to caring for animals and helping their families feel confident while they’re away. I’ve many years of hands-on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. What began with a love of caring for my own pets and helping family and friends grew into professional pet sitting goals. Working for Rover is a great way to care for pets through their trusted brand until I get my own small business going, on top of my rescue and advocacy efforts. My experience goes well beyond basic feeding and walks. I’ve cared for puppies, energetic young dogs, senior pets, large breeds, cats, multiple-pet households, and animals requiring extra patience or special attention. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and caring for injured or recovering animals, so you can feel reassured that your pet’s individual needs will be carefully followed. I’ve also cared for horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and other farm animals, livestock and more! Over the years, I’ve helped animals that were lost, injured, neglected, or simply needed someone to care, including personally rescuing and nursing animals back to health. I've organized and run fundraising events for non-profit animal organizations, volunteered much of my time at shelters and behavioral therapy and training spaces. I have a special place in my heart for animals who need an advocate, and I’m committed to providing them with patient, compassionate support. I believe excellent pet care means noticing the little things. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, appetite, routines, and changes that could indicate a pet isn’t feeling like themselves. I take time to learn each animal’s personality and provide the affection, exercise, playtime, patience, or quiet companionship they need to feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. I also keep families informed so they can enjoy greater peace of mind throughout their time apart. I understand the trust involved in inviting a pet sitter into your home. I treat every client’s home, belongings, privacy, and personal space with the utmost respect, striving to leave your home just as you left it—or better. You can feel confident knowing your pets are receiving personalized, attentive care and your home is in responsible hands. I’m currently completing my Pet First Aid and CPR certification, insured and bonded through Rover (as well as having my own insurance through PCI), and committed to continuing my pet-care education. Whether I’m caring for a rambunctious puppy, a senior who needs a gentler pace, or a pet who misses their person, my goal is to provide dependable, safe, and compassionate care tailored to each animal while giving you the reassurance you deserve. I also provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing how your pets are doing while you’re away. Just as importantly, I understand that I’m a guest in your home. I respect your property, belongings, privacy, and personal space, clean up after myself and your pets, and strive to leave your home just as you left it—or better. My goal is for you to return to happy, well-cared-for pets and a home that has been treated with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!

“Ahhh-mazing! Mariana is incredibly patient with our nervous German Shepherd/Border Collie Mix. She has a big scary bark, and can be hard to warm up to. Mariana is obviously knowledgeable when it comes to all things dog, and their meet and greet went perfectly. We love her training and behavior tips as well. She really knows what she's doing, and you can be certain that your dog will be safe and happy in her hands! They are becoming fast friends and we look forward to many walks in the future! We are so thankful to have found her!”
