“Rachel is incredible! I have an energetic terrier that I wanted to socialize with new people as well as get some work done during the day, so we booked Rachel for walks during the day. She not only came ready to exhaust my little man on long walks but takes him on mini hiking adventures and has quickly become one of Chewie’s favorite humans. It’s a great feeling to know he’s in such good hands. And I love the report card pictures she sends each day. They mean a lot!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life, I currently live with 5 and love every moment with them. I want to be able to provide care to others dogs who may not be able to care for them as well as they used to for whatever reason. I always love meeting new dogs and hope I get to meet some new furry friends here :) I’m currently working part time and have extra time this summer to be able to go out and do more things, so why not walk dogs while I’m at it? I have a fully fenced in yard (private fence). I like to take my dogs on trails and walks around the neighborhood. I also like to play with them in the yard on days too hot to walk. They’re fed twice a day (amount depends on dog since they’re different sizes).

About: Hi! I look forward to creating a trusting and fun relationship with your pet. I have spent most of my life caring for animals. We had animals in the house throughout my childhood and my family owns a farm which I house sit for regularly. I also have frequently watched friends and relatives cats and dogs. When I lived in Rochester I worked at a dog boarding facility, I have also worked for two horse farms. I am comfortable handling animals of all shapes and sizes. At my previous jobs I was responsible for administering medications to animals, taking temperatures and communicating with the owners so these are all things I have experience doing. Currently I am working full time and only available for walks and check ins after 4 pm. In mid September my schedule will open up to full availability morning-nights. Willing to follow all clear directions provided by owners. I am only available to care for animals in the clients home. I will always leave the home as I found it and treat your space and pets with the up most respect.

DESERT72563, https://www.rover.com/sit/desert72563 Incorporating pet care into my daily or weekly routine involves tasks such as feeding, grooming, exercise, and companionship. Setting aside specific times each day for feeding and play/exercise sessions, schedule regular grooming sessions based on my pet's needs, and ensuring to spend quality time bonding with my pet. It's also important to factor in veterinarian appointments, cleaning up after my pet, and providing mental stimulation through training or enrichment activities. 1. Feeding: Following feeding schedules, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions. Ensure that fresh water is always available for the pets. 2. Exercise and Playtime: Engage pets in regular exercise and play sessions to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. This can include activities like walking, playing with toys, or interactive play with us. 3. Grooming: Depending on the type of pet, grooming needs may vary. Brush their fur regularly, trim their nails when necessary, and keep their ears and teeth clean. 4. Litter Box Maintenance: For cats, regularly clean the litter box to ensure hygiene and prevent any litter box issues. Replace the litter as needed. 5. Medication and Health Care: If my pet requires medication, follow the instructions provided by the (vet) administer it as directed. Always attentive to any signs of illness or discomfort and inform the vet if conditions worsens. 6. Safety and Security: Ensuring that the environment is safe for the pets by removing any hazards or toxic substances. Keep doors and windows secure to prevent pets from accidents. 7. Communication with the Patrons: Maintaining open and clear communication with the pet patrons. I will provide regular updates on the pet's well-being, any concerns or issues that arise, and I will follow any specific instructions or preferences patrons may have. Remembering, every pet is unique, so it's important to tailor care to their individual needs. Always prioritize the well-being and safety of the pets I am responsible for.

15. Julia G.
About: PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU REQUEST! I have had cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, and horses throughout my life. I’ve trained puppies and kittens, and travelled the world with my animals. I’ve also worked as a vet tech for a small animal clinic in North Carolina. Now I am a tiny human mom! I am perfectly comfortable to stay overnight, as long as your animals are comfortable with children. I am a single mama, so my daughter goes everywhere with me. I do also bring my mini Aussie on overnights (well trained and registered service dog). She gets along with any animal she meets. Please note this when making a booking selection, as I can leave her home when doing drop ins, but not for overnights ☺️ If you book an overnight and later decide drop ins suit better (or vice versa) - I will encourage an edit to the booking for integrity and cost purposes. We will leave your home just as clean, if not cleaner, than when we arrived ☺️ I work in education during the week days, but I am off work all school holidays (plus the summer), as well as weekends. I love spending my spare time with all animals! I am very attentive to the needs of all pets. I check for injuries regularly, and know the signs of distress and illness! Any sudden change in behaviour is a red flag to me.

16. John G.
“John is the most caring, loyal, friend and dog owner I know. He and his family recused both their dogs from down south. Those two dogs, Daisy and Dakota, are so happy and healthy and full of love. He also helps volunteer at an animal shelter in Salem, MA where he walks dogs and much more. I've never met anyone who loves and cares for animals as much as John does. He rocks.”

17. Devin S.
“Devin is the most empathetic and loving person I know. Especially when it comes to animals. If his full time job could be working at a shelter to help animals in need, he would. And don’t get me started on his love for floofy dogs!”

18. Dan B.
“I've known Dan for nearly 40 years. He is the definition of an animal person and treats pets with kindness and passion. if there's one person I had to pick to take care of my pet, it would be Dan”

19. Kathryn B.
About: I grew up on a horse farm so animals have been the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I was raised caring for animals and that experience shaped not only my skillset, but my soul. Connecting with animals is second nature to me, and I believe it’s my greatest strength. Whether it’s providing gentle care to senior pets, keeping up with energetic puppies!, or understanding the subtle emotional cues of animals, I offer a level of awareness and devotion that I believe sets me apart. Your pets are more than just animals- they’re family, and I’ll care for them with the same love, responsibility, and attention I give to my own. I work for my family so I have the opportunity to plan my schedule which allows me the freedom and more availability to do other things I enjoy- like this! My top priorities are safety, comfort, and consistency. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique routine, personality, and needs — from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and walking routes. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your instructions to the letter, making sure your pet feels secure in their familiar environment. I’m highly attentive, always observing for changes in behavior or health, and I communicate regularly with updates and photos. My goal is for you to feel complete peace of mind, knowing your beloved pet is in the hands of someone who truly cares and is fully present.

20. Kendall W.
“Kendall is responsible and reliable. She enjoys spending time with animals and prioritizes their needs. As an example, she comes up with activities to activate dogs' problem solving skills while keeping them entertained, like by throwing a ball then playing hide and seek. She will take great care of your pets and make sure they feel loved.”
