“I cannot recommend Katie enough! We have such peace of mind knowing she’s caring for our pets. Katie was even kind enough to water some of our outdoor plants which we greatly appreciated. Truly the best!”

“I will definitely book with Alexis the next time I need a pet sitter. You can really tell she has a heart for animals. She was extremely kind and took great care of my sweet pet Nugs. She asked to come a day early and learn how to take care of my Nugs and to pick up the house key and I loved the initiative. I also loved getting the opportunity to meet her before she took care of Nugs. Nugs does not warm up to everyone quickly, but was giving Alexis kisses (cute little licks) during her visits. I have nothing but good things to say about Alexis and would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter! :)”

“Mandy did a great job taking care of my three pets, two dogs and one cat. She came over twice a day for 1 hour. Everything and every animal was in good order when I returned. I would definitely recommend Mandy to you.”

“Mark was very good with Poppy, my 9 year old cat. This was the longest I’ve gone off and I’m sure she wasn’t thrilled. But Mark gave her attention and care. I will have him watch my cat again.”

“Carina took great care of my sweet kitty, who needs medication morning and night. I felt very relieved to have someone who could manage that while I was out of town. Definitely recommend.”

“Paula was OUTSTANDING!!! Full reports and details each visit and our pet crew adored her!! We will most definitely use Paula again anytime we need pet services! It says a lot about her as our dogs , who normally bark at someone new in our home, greeted her whole heartedly with nothing g but tails wagging and wanting to play with her!! THANK YOU PAULA!!”

“Lindsey was great! She kept us up to date with pictures of our dog throughout the day. Made me feel much better about leaving Dex behind he was in great hands. Highly recommend her!”

“Oh my goodness Kim is a phenomenal cat sitter!! We came back from a 6 day trip and our picky senior cats acted like we’d never been gone. She sent great pics of them each day so I could see all the love and attention they were getting. Kim was also kind enough to handle mail and packages, and even left us a lovely welcome home treat. We’ve had mixed experiences with others in the past and it’s comforting to find someone who treats your pets and home so thoughtfully. So glad we found her!”

“Heidi watched my dogs while I was in the hospital and I couldn’t have picked a better person. My little dog is a picky eater and she did perfect with her where she trusted her (which is rare). I recommend her to anyone I talk to.”

“Both our girls are very shy, so I don't think Elizabeth ever saw them or played with them. But it was so nice to know someone was coming in each day to be with them and they weren't alone in the house all day.”

My home has a large fenced yard and I love taking dogs on walks around the quiet neighborhood.

“My wife has always had someone to watch her dog, but we recently built a house and she moved to Goochland County. It was our first time using the Rover service and Riley was great. She sent notes and pictures to keep us updated on each stay. She was great and will be using her services again!”

About: I've been around dogs since I was 5 years old. I have walked, played with, fed, cleaned up after them having accidents when they are older or as a puppy. I've cared not only for mine but also friends dogs while they are out of town. We has a puggle for 15 years, which passed away. Looking for a way to be with animals and get that interaction and loving in with your member of the family. That's how all of our animals were that I've had, they are family. Let me help make your time away from your precious family member be much more relaxed by knowing that he or she is being well taken care of. I send photos to my friends of their dogs when they are gone, so they know that they are doing fine and it makes them happy to see their dogs too. Look forward to meeting you! I currently work part time, so I had plenty of time to care for your pets. Just let me know how I can help make your time away from them easier. Our kids are grown and out of the house too, so have plenty of love to pour into your loved one. I am a nurse by profession, so know how to care for others and I'm no stranger to caring for older animals as we had a 14 year old cat and a 15 year old dog that we loved and cared for their whole lives and will continue to miss them for the rest of ours.

“Love Reagan! She flows all my picky instructions, but mostly has gained the love & trust of my skiddishbkitties! It takes a lot of patience & gentle determination to do that! I never ask for anyone else.”

About: Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm available to do walks, drop ins, or sitting. While I'm fun and relaxed in personality, I take responsibilities towards pets seriously. I care for them as I'd want mine cared for, with the general attitude that they're all someone's baby. I value clear communication on both ends, any helpful instructions from you, and knowing how you like things done. Every pet is different, and your personal requirements and preferences are important. More about me: I've lived with pets my whole life, and started helping with their care as soon as I was old enough. Dogs and cats were my first animals, and I've always loved having a dog for company while enjoying the outdoors and beautiful weather. I've walked and sat for dogs of friends and neighbors, and it's always been an enjoyable experience. I do have some experience with senior dogs, dogs who need medication, and I'm comfortable giving oral or topical meds. Taking care of puppies is also something I enjoy. I just ask for any special needs or training instructions to be clear and detailed so I can give the best care possible. Fun Fact: I actually completed a veterinary assistant certification course in Maryland many years ago. I never ended up with employment relevant to that, but the experience was worth it. The educational clinic hours were great for becoming more comfortable handling different breeds and sizes. I've been helping care for a family member at home, along with our two cats, our older dog, and my three birds. I love getting outside, and have plenty of time to enjoy a walk, or spend time with, a new animal companion. I care for pets according to the client's instructions and preferences. I'm able to care for pets in their own home, yard, and for walks.

Joy S.
“Joy is a truly remarkable woman who embodies love and compassion in every aspect of her life. As a devoted mother, wife, and nurse, she pours her heart into caring for others. Her lifelong passion for animals is evident in the way she embraced her beloved puggle, Lola, for 15 wonderful years. Lola wasn't just a pet; she was a cherished member of the family, and the bond they shared was a testament to the love and care Joy provides. In addition to her role as a dog mama, she frequently opens her home to her long-time friends' dogs, Pumpkin and Autumn, treating them with the same warmth and affection she gave to Lola. Her nurturing spirit and genuine love for animals make her the perfect caregiver for any pet. With so much love to give, Joy is not only a wonderful caregiver but also a friend to all animals. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a trusted pet sitter. I wholeheartedly recommend her!”
