Samantha was fantastic. She took great care of my older German Shepherd, Raven, which included special food and morning and evening medications. She checked in multiple times with pics which made me feel good and confident that Raven was in good hands. I'm already planning my trip next year and hope Raven can hang out at Samantha's again! Thank you!

Kim was absolutely fantastic with my dog, Daisy. I was worry-free on my trip as I received daily photos of Daisy playing, snoozing, and hanging out with Kim. Kim treated Daisy as her own and I will highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable home for their dog to stay while their away.

Our dogs are always well taken care of when they stay here. One of them has special dietary restrictions and they are very careful to follow instructions and always keep us updated with any issues. They come home happy and tired, and we receive plenty of videos and communication throughout their stay!

About: Hi Neighbors, I am a Natural World Enthusiast looking to provide support to pets and their owners in the community. My heart is geared towards animals. I have decades worth of experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets, from my own to friends and clients in the professional setting. My goal is to provide a sense of physical, mental, and emotional well being for your pet. I am here to help fill in the gaps in your busy schedules and be there. So whether your pal needs a hike, walk around the neighborhood, a feeding, medication dose (dogs and cats) or just a visit, I have your back. We all need movement, attention and praise, pets included. I use positive reinforcement as training method, for all pets at every stage. So whether you have a puppy with some aggression issues, a husky that needs a run, a diabetic cat, fish to be fed and admired, or an stinky old man dog that just needs to be sung to and told he's a good boy I am here to serve. I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.

Great property for dogs and a welcome home. I have a Vizsla, which means he’s full of energy and attention seeking. He had plenty of room to run and was shown the care and love he needed. I will definitely use Dixie again in the future.

Maytte is a gem! We have two very shy dogs and weren’t sure how they would do staying with a new person. They loved her and warmed up to her at the meet and greet we set up. It made going away much easier. Maytte sent updates every day, with pictures and videos of the dogs. We could tell they were loved and well cared for. Maytte went above and beyond, buying them each a harness for walks and new toys. We’ve already booked her for our next trip.

Our plans fell through at the last minute for Rory and Rachel was very flexible for the stay. Rory was initially sad that we were leaving her but after just one night with Rachel and her family, Rory was sad to be leaving them. It was clear that Rachel took great care of Rory during the stay! Would recommend.

Georgianne was wonderful for my dog Vera! It was my first time using Rover so I was very nervous but she did a wonderful job responding to me when I asked for updates and sent me photos and videos. My dog was very comfortable with her and loved her backyard! I would have Georgianne watch my dog again :)

She was great with our 6 month old golden! He was very timid of other dogs and she slowly acclimated him to other dogs taking his timidness into consideration. I will definitely be using her again in the future.

Nina was a lifesaver! She was able to schedule a meet and greet, and book our dog for the weekend with short notice. She was very communicative. We received updates, and pictures, which was so appreciated. Our dog seemed very content during his stay with Nina. We are looking forward to using her again!

Alicia took wonderful care of my dog, Link, during his boarding stay of a little over four days. She is gentle, attentive, and clearly very in tune with the dogs she boards. I really appreciated that she only takes a small number of dogs at a time so they each get plenty of attention. She sent updates at least twice a day with great photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Link and her dog Zara seemed to become fast friends, and I loved seeing the pictures of them hanging out together. Alicia also made sure to play fetch with him (his favorite!) and kept me updated on his eating, medication, and sleep. The best sign of all—when I picked him up, he didn’t even seem eager to leave, which told me he truly felt comfortable and happy there. I would absolutely recommend Alicia to anyone looking for a caring, reliable boarding sitter. I’m very grateful for the excellent care she gave Link.

This was the best Rover experience for me! Susan made sure my dog is safe and feels comfortable. My dog easily gets nervous with strangers, but she got used to the new environment faster than normal. I felt like Susan is really good with handling dogs too because she has great amount of experience with dogs. I really appreciate her updates, photos, and all the accommodations she has made for us. Thank you!!😊

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
