About: Hi Neighbors, I am a Natural World Enthusiast looking to provide support to pets and their owners in the community. My heart is geared towards animals. I have decades worth of experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets, from my own to friends and clients in the professional setting. My goal is to provide a sense of physical, mental, and emotional well being for your pet. I am here to help fill in the gaps in your busy schedules and be there. So whether your pal needs a hike, walk around the neighborhood, a feeding, medication dose (dogs and cats) or just a visit, I have your back. We all need movement, attention and praise, pets included. I use positive reinforcement as training method, for all pets at every stage. So whether you have a puppy with some aggression issues, a husky that needs a run, a diabetic cat, fish to be fed and admired, or an stinky old man dog that just needs to be sung to and told he's a good boy I am here to serve. I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.

“Great property for dogs and a welcome home. I have a Vizsla, which means he’s full of energy and attention seeking. He had plenty of room to run and was shown the care and love he needed. I will definitely use Dixie again in the future.”

I really appreciated that she only takes a small number of dogs at a time so they each get plenty of attention. Link and her dog Zara seemed to become fast friends, and I loved seeing the pictures of them hanging out together. Alicia also made sure to play fetch with him (his favorite!) and kept me updated on his eating, medication, and sleep. The best sign of all—when I picked him up, he didn’t even seem eager to leave, which told me he truly felt comfortable and happy there. I would absolutely recommend Alicia to anyone looking for a caring, reliable boarding sitter. I’m very grateful for the excellent care she gave Link.”
