About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind for years. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to feed, play, clean, and take care of their pets while away from home. With my experience and passion for animals, I would take care of your animals as I would my own. I currently work full-time, but have plenty of available time in the mornings and after work. My weekdays have plenty of time available for check-ins and walks. The safety of your pet is my number one priority. For dogs, I tend to avoid other dogs on walks unless you point out to me any dogs you know that it's ok for your dog to greet and interact with. I would rather your dog be safe than hurt. For cats, I make sure they are always kept inside (unless instructed otherwise with a catio or other) and are away from harms way.

7. Kristin L.

“We were new to the area and needed a new sitter for our three cats when we were out of town. Kristin was amazing!!! It was so comforting to know that our cats were in such good hands. We received daily photos and updates and the cats seemed genuinely comfortable with her since the first visit. We’re already rebooking.”

8. Paige M.

“The best! Super reliable and always comes through. I never have any doubt that I'm going to come home to a happy and healthy dog when Paige helps out.”

9. Anna C.

“I think this was potentially her first time utilizing rover so I’m giving a bit of grace here! I understand it can be a learning experience. I was worried initially because she had missed our first meet and greet due to having a scheduling mistake on her end. When we met the following day because we had to reschedule, I was worried after because she didn’t really ask any questions but I proceeded anyway. The first day she did a drop in but did not start it on the app, so I was very anxious because I did not hear from her 30 minutes into the scheduled visit. I had to reach out to verify she was there, when she got back to me a bit later she didn’t give much information. I had to ask for pics and updates on their feeding. The next day, she visited in the morning and did some better with communication. Though offered to come another time and I declined. She decided to go another time into my home anyway. This felt like a boundary violation because I declined it and she only told me she went after she was already in my home. It was a bit suspect but she was worried about the food feeder so I could understand, but the communication lacked. Otherwise, my cats seemed fine when I got home so I’m happy about that. Communication should have been much better though.”

10. John R.
“I have watched John take care of two family dogs in a loving and responsible way for over seven years, and I think he would be a wonderful dog caregiver. He clearly loves and relates to dogs in a special way. He has experience with all aspects of pet care, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising. He is patient and attentive. He loves to take dogs for walks, and can go either long or short distances. John is very smart, and would quickly pick up any instructions. He is also very clean and careful. I would highly recommend him.”

About: Hello there! As a proud mom to four dogs, 12 goats, 15 chickens, and too many ducks and cats to count- I would be thrilled to get to know your furry friend and help with any pet responsibilities. I personally have a St. Bernard, English bulldog, and 2 Great Pyrenees. Large breeds are my specialty but I, of course, am a complete sucker for all the adorable tiny pups of the world too! I’m an active person who enjoys a good jog and am happy to walk in any weather. I also have plenty of farm experience with pigs, goats, and chickens for anyone in a rural environment. Best of all, I am well settled into my 30s and will always supply the reliability, responsibility, and peace of mind that you as owners deserve. We make most of our “pooch-a-roo stew” dog food from scratch from healthy, home grown foods on our farm. Our pups have completed obedience classes. We spoil them daily but have a good foundation of rules to keep everyone in our pack happy and healthy! I found my wonderful dog sitters on rover.com and have been so thrilled with the help they have given me. I can’t wait to pass along my love of animals to your family. Cheers to all the tail wags, drool spots, and happy panting to come!

12. John G.
“John has had pets his whole life. Those pets have been lucky enough to live with a person who so genuinely cares about animals. (Especially dogs!) He is always sharing pictures with his dogs on walks and when having fun at home as well. John truly truly cares for dogs and there is no one else I would trust my pet with as much as I would with John!”

About: I've had tortoises, birds of all kinds, fish, ducks, chickens, cats, and of course dogs. I am a nurse and a dog mom myself. You can always count on me for updates and plenty of photos as well as always knowing what to do in an emergency. I have given meds to every single animal I've had including shots. I obviously have no issues with blood, needles, accidents, or vomit and am a patient person. I grew up with a family dog that was ultimately the coolest dog to have ever lived and have had to deal with personal training and reactivity as well. I have taken care of others' animals as long as I remember and I'd love to continue to do so, while giving you peace of mind with your pet. Although I work full time, I am available most days as I have been working from home often. With my own dog, I will make sure that your animal is a priority, just as I would want my own pet to be if I were away and of course, photos are a MUST because we all know how photogenic our furry friends are. I will try to recreate the same environment that your pet is used to so they feel comfortable. Lots of love and safety is of course the key as well! If you have a normal routine that works for your pet, let me know and I will do my absolute best to accommodate whether it be in my own home or yours.

19. Marissa F.

“Thank you so much, Marissa, for helping me out with Lela! At her age, and with her disabilities/medical issues, I was a bit nervous contacting someone I didn't know but thank you for coming to the rescue when I had a long day at the office! Loved the pictures you sent. :) Thank you for making her day easier with a potty break and some cookies. :)”

About: Ive grown up my whole life surrounded by cats and dogs. Big, small and in between we all deserve to be taken great care of! I currently am going back to school for Hotel Management. I am only gone a few hours in the mornings Monday through Thursday and weekends off. I do Uber Eats right now making my schedule completely flexible. I live in a one person apartment and have a big open kitchen and living room with hardwood floors and minimal things to get into. I have a open courtyard but am right in town close to lots of places to safely walk, with minimal traffic and parks to run around at. Their's a few friendly dogs that stay in my building as well as I have lots of family with very friendly dogs that love to play and big fenced in yard if your doggy like the interactions.
