“Heather took care of my 10 month old puppy for the day. She communicated well, sent me a couple pictures while he was there, took him for a walk, he played with her dogs and they had a great time. He was clearly happy and comfortable, well taken care of while I was gone. He was happy to see me but happy hanging out with her as well. He was struggling this past week or so with separation anxiety from his human brother and not finishing all of his food, but he ate all of his food Heather and seems back on track. So I would definitely use Heather again, and would recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy person to care for their beloved pet family member. :) Thank you Heather! About: Combining my certification in dog training and lifelong passion for dogs, I volunteered at a dog shelter and successfully nursed a critically ill foster pup back to health through attentive care and medication. This led to its well-deserved adoption into a loving home. I am able to accommodate a flexible schedule and am present at home on a daily basis. I would ensure the dogs are exercised and relieved at least 3-4 times daily. My yard is unfenced but when taking dogs outside, I ensure their safety by leashing them. My home is safe, secure, and suitable for dogs.

About: I’ve been around animals most of my life and am a dog owner myself. I love dogs and will care for yours as my own. I work from home and have plenty of flexibility for walks, attention and bathroom breaks during the day. My schedule is quite flexible, just let me know your preferences. I have a finished basement and a big yard with plenty of space for exercise. I can accommodate your preferences for your pet to have the best experience while you’re away.

About: I started fostering dogs back during COVID to help them find a their furever family, and now I want to help dog families, like my own, continue the getting care they need to where they feel safe when their owners are away. :) I am constantly taking care of my dog son Kobe, who I also fostered through the system way back when. He, as well as fostering other dogs, has given the experience I need to take care of your family too. I am familiar with dogs with anxiety, dogs with allergies, dogs that need medication and/or a little extra attention. Everyone needs love no matter what type of care, and I believe I can be like your friendly neighbor giving your furever family the care they need along with the safety and comfortability like a neighbor or friend. :) I have a fenced yard for your pet to run around, and also extra room space in case they need time to themselves. I can also take your dog on walks at a nearby park/rec center to get their extra energy out when needed.

About: I have a family home with a fenced in yard. I also live within walking distance of a popular park where many dogs take their walks. I have a little boy that would love to entertain your fur baby! I am a stay at home parent and only need to leave my home for my son’s activities or to run errands but am never gone longer than a couple hours. I have a fenced in yard and no other animals in my home. I do have a small child though, and he would love to throw a ball, tug a rope, give treats and cuddles.

“Christy was great! We booked her while we were passing through town for a few days. Immediately I knew Zoey would gravitate toward her cheerful yet calm energy. She sent me 3 photos and gave a thorough review of what Zoey enjoyed doing during her stay. Zoey apparently was a social butterfly, mingling with kittens, cats, dogs and even pumpkins during her stay. She warmed up to her not long after we left. I felt at ease knowing Christy fosters dogs from a local rescue, but I felt even better when she correctly read Zoey’s body language upon meeting her of being nervous about being in a new place. She let Zoey come to her, rather than overwhelming her by approaching her and assured me she would introduce her three dogs gradually once Zoey was feeling a little less shy. Many people love dogs, but few genuinely understand dogs the way she does.”

About: My prior experiences include working in an emergency veterinary hospital, exotic specialty department and a general practice hospital. I have over a decade of veterinary professional experience. I have experience with cats, dogs, birds, small mammals, and reptiles and have CPR training. I’m a SAHM currently so I am available all days and many holidays. I do have a small daughter that I bring with me when needed but we avoid contact with pets as much as possible. I have a 0.5 acre of land for your pets to play in as well as a safe neighborhood to do walks in. I will be home all day when pets are day boarding or staying.

About: I previously owned a dog walking and pet-sitting business for over four years, and I absolutely loved it! I walked dogs that ranged from 1-16 years of age, and administered oral medication and provided insulin to diabetic dogs. I have also fostered dogs four separate times, ages ranging from 1-6 years. I have 4 years of exotic animal care experience as well! I work from home full time on a very flexible schedule. I can move my daily plans around to fit your needs, and will update my availability to include changes ASAP. There is one other dog and one cat in the home. My partner is experienced in animal husbandry and loves pets just as much as me. We are sure to give them plenty of love, patience, and attention! I can take furry friends on extra walks or runs if requested, and I can send you pictures throughout your pets' stay!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, the last 13 years we have had 5 dogs and 2 cats in our home. Like most animals lovers we treat our animals like family, because they are. Three of our pups are seniors (12, 14 and 15 years old) that requires daily meds and special treatment. So I have no problems giving medications if needed. I have a passion for making sure each of our animals feel loved, appreciated and safe every single day. I'm currently working full time Monday - Thursday but available any time in the evenings during the week and all day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday. We have a fenced in yard for our dogs to go outside and play as much as they want. Safety is no issue at our house.
