About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I graduated Austin Peay with a Bachelor’s in Agriculture and concentrated in Veterinary Technology. While I was in school, I worked at a boarding facility and daycare. I worked in an animal hospital for over 3 years until I had my son in November. I stay home with my son now as a full time mom. My veterinary experience allows me to administer medication, provide extraordinary care, and give lots of love! I currently am a stay at home mom to my son who was born in November! Our days are open and willing to help out families with their fur babies! I have 4 dogs of my own- 2 senior small girls, a senior lab (though she doesn’t act like it), and a middle aged silly boy! They are all friendly and welcoming to any animal in our home. I do have an unfenced yard but do have runners and will leash walk all animals in my yard. I am able to crate any animal if necessary.

“Lori is fabulous! She took EXCELLENT care of our babies. We even forgot to get a preferred treat for our dog to take her pills in and Lori went out of her way to get it so our girl wouldn’t be sad. She went above and beyond! All of our animals (even our most skittish cat) loved her immediately. Her daily updates after every visit made us feel so at ease during our trip. Also normally after a trip our babies are standoffish or SUPER clingy and they’re acting as if we haven’t even been gone. She made their lives feel normal and kept their routine. This was our first time using Rover, and we’re so very pleased with Lori’s care for our babies! We will definitely use her sitting services again.”

About: I grew up on a farm caring for horses, cattle, dogs, cats, etc. I've worked in the veterinary field since 2006. I received my licensed veterinary medical technician (LVMT) certification in 2011 after attending Murray State University for their vet tech program. I've always had a connection with animals & a strong desire to help them. I can handle giving medications & any special care your fur baby may need. I'm typically available in the afternoons and some weekends. I'm able to assist my other Rover sitter friends if they need someone to fill in a visit. I occasionally work from home, so I'm more flexible on those days if you need drop in visits. I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible during our visits. Please let me know if you have any special instructions, if pets have favorite toys or activities.

About: I have had experience my whole life growing up with pets and would love yours the same way you would! Pretty flexible and will follow any of your additional instructions to take care of. I currently have a 4 year old beagle mix myself. I promise to do my best job to do what you would expect of someone to do for taking care of your animals. I am non-smoker and a nurse. This is a great opportunity to help me save some money and help my local furry friends out! I love to be active day to day. I have a 4 year old beagle rescue that I have cared for since she was a puppy. She is well taken care of and if anything I am unsure about I contact the vet or ask for help from friends and family!

She was very attentive when our cat got an upset stomach while we were away and cuddled with our little dog who was anxious during a storm. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 15 years. I’ve worked with various breeds, sizes, energy levels and I’m comfortable with it all. I’m also comfortable with the puppy phase/training and I used to help train with my dad on the side. I love to go on runs and always bring them along! I grew up with everything from Cavachons to Labs to German Shepherds, and I have a 2.5 year old GSP and a doodle who keeps me on my toes :) I work in the liquor industry as a marketing manager and am only in the field from 12-4 every day, and even then have flexibility. I’m home 85% of the time and am home on the weekends aside from a dinner/brunch out! We love to go outside/for runs so we love to bring our furry friends with us. My fiance and I love together in White House, but I will be the only one providing care/responsible for your pups! I have a 2.5 year old GSP, and 3 year old goldendoodle, and a 7 year old orange tabby cat who absolutely love new friends and are very social.. I live in a neighborhood in White House with a dog park, and we can absolutely run around there! if your pups are here, we'll spend a lot of time in the yard or the park playing! At your home, we'll go for long, fun walks as well! I'm also a runner so I'm more than happy to take your pups along If you like to have your dog crated at night, that’s no issues at all, our pup sleeps in her crate as well! It’s super important to me that you feel safe and at ease when you leave your pup with me, so any routines, extra love, etc will always be top priority! And I will be the only one providing care for your sweet pup while I’m watching!

About: At 61 years old, I bring a lifetime of experience caring for animals of all kinds—from birds to horses and just about everything in between. Over the years, I have fostered both dogs and cats and have shared my life with dozens of animals of my own, including squirrels, birds, and horses. Animals have always been at the center of my heart, and I would love the opportunity to share my passion, dedication, and love with your furry or feathered companions while you are away. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, whether it’s stopping by for a quick visit, taking a dog for a walk, or staying overnight to keep them company. I also have four acres of safe, fenced pasture where dogs can run and play freely, which brings me as much joy as it does them. One of my favorite things is having a four-legged companion join me on hikes or simply spending quiet time together—it’s the kind of companionship that always feels special. I am typically available to sit Monday through Friday, however, I will consider weekends for walking, feeding, etc… I prefer overnight stays to be during the week if possible. I prefer caring for your precious pet in your home, walking, feeding and staying if you need me to. There may be times when I am able to bring your bed home with me for the day. I work on a case by case basis depending on the situation.

About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve cared for my own dogs, as well as family, friends, and neighbors’ pets, and I truly love making dogs feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m a proud dog mom to my 3-year-old Black Lab, Raven, who is friendly, playful, and always excited to make new dog friends. Your pup will have a built in buddy for playtime and companionship! I have a spacious home with a basement that is comfortably set up for dogs, and I’m happy to welcome pups onto the furniture because I believe dogs deserve to feel at home (my couch has washable covers). My backyard is partially fenced, and I’m also close to a beautiful Greenway where I love taking dogs for walks and adventures. I also live 3 minutes from Rovers dog park! I understand every dog has their own personality and needs. I have the space and ability to give dogs their own areas or separate them when needed, so every pup can feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed during their stay. I also have a membership at Urban Dog Bar in Nashville and love giving dogs fun experiences beyond just sitting at home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, or quiet time, I’m happy to tailor care to what makes your dog happiest. Your pup will be treated like family here with lots of love, attention, and belly rubs included! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m home most weekends and work remotely every Monday and Friday, which allows me to spend lots of quality time with the dogs in my care including walks, playtime, cuddles, and keeping them company. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays I work from the office, but I have a consistent routine. I make sure dogs get outside in the morning before I leave, as soon as I’m home, and again before bedtime. I’m also able to provide a comfortable, safe environment where they can relax while I’m away. My backyard is fenced in on three sides and is a decent size for dogs to enjoy. I do let my own dog roam freely, but I completely understand that not every dog is comfortable or safe doing that. I have a running cable available if needed, and I’m also happy to take dogs outside on a leash for potty breaks and walks. I also have a basement that is separated into two spaces with dog gates, a large dog kennel if needed, and an upstairs area that can be separated with another doggy gate to help create a safe and comfortable space. From one dog mom to another, I understand how important it is to know your dog is in a safe environment with a trusted human. I want every dog in my care to feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re here.
