Not too many people I know can handle a big German Shepherd and she did an amazing job, taking such good care of him! Our boy Maui loved her from the moment he met her and that says a lot, because if Maui doesn't like you, he will let you know! Paula also keeps you updated daily with professional looking photos, she has an eye for photography as well! What a relief it was for us to be able to find Paula, as we are newer to the area and do not have family close by to help. I would give her a 100 stars!”

Our dachshund previously came from an abusive home and is very nervous around new people but Alice was patient with her and she warmed up fast. Both of our dogs seemed very happy and well cared for! She sent photos and updates whenever I reached out and is very responsive. When we had a flight delay on our way home Alice even came back to feed them and take them out without it being in our booking which was so helpful. We will definitely be booking with Alice again!”

About: At 61 years old, I bring a lifetime of experience caring for animals of all kinds—from birds to horses and just about everything in between. Over the years, I have fostered both dogs and cats and have shared my life with dozens of animals of my own, including squirrels, birds, and horses. Animals have always been at the center of my heart, and I would love the opportunity to share my passion, dedication, and love with your furry or feathered companions while you are away. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, whether it’s stopping by for a quick visit, taking a dog for a walk, or staying overnight to keep them company. I also have four acres of safe, fenced pasture where dogs can run and play freely, which brings me as much joy as it does them. One of my favorite things is having a four-legged companion join me on hikes or simply spending quiet time together—it’s the kind of companionship that always feels special. I am typically available to sit Monday through Friday, however, I will consider weekends for walking, feeding, etc… I prefer overnight stays to be during the week if possible. I prefer caring for your precious pet in your home, walking, feeding and staying if you need me to. There may be times when I am able to bring your bed home with me for the day. I work on a case by case basis depending on the situation.
