About: I’ve always had family dogs growing up which was an excellent learning space for dog’s body language, basic training and grooming needs. Currently I have a senior dog so I’m familiar with complex medical/feeding routines. Additionally, my family member has a severe disability which requires a service dog so I’m aware of the different needs of on-duty compared to off-duty service dogs. Aside from caring for my own fur babies, a cat (4 years old) and a dog (13 years old), I have open availability for your fur babies! I keep a close eye on my animals’ behavior which allows for treating most issues with home care before a vet visit is needed with a larger problem, for example regular ear cleaning.

About: WHO AM I ? : I am a Virginia Tech 21' graduate with a degree in Dairy Science. I have a combined 8 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and kennel technician in Virginia and Alabama! I have always had a passion for taking care of animals since I was a kid. Along with my experience in a veterinarian clinic, I have had experience in retail at a pet store. I’ve provided pet sitting services for animals of all shapes and sizes including horses, goats, dogs, and cats. I also have two years of foster care experience, allowing me to work with many breeds, temperaments and personalities! My belief is that time, focus and positive reinforcement training can allow your pets best qualities to shine through! I have 3 dogs of my own Ace (heeler/chi), Bernie (terrier mix) and Rye (lab mix). I have a disabled cat name Wybie. I have two painted turtles as well, so I am reptile friendly! Pet care is my main focus area, and every animal in my care is my priority. WHAT YOU GET : Under my care your best friends and fur babies will be treated like my own! My dogs are fed twice a day with fresh, cool water every morning. They love the outdoors so they get let out frequently throughout the day and go on walks atleast once - weather dependent. Rye goes on maybe kayaking and swimming adventures with us as he loves the water. When I am away he has plenty of chew toys to keep him occupied. I make sure to play fetch and tug with Ace to give him what he needs as well as car rides and accompanying us on our hikes. Bernie gets as much hugs and kisses as the boy desires. He gets to go to get together and cook outs as much as possible because there’s nothing more that this boy loves than attention. I do the same for my clients and make sure that THEIR pets get the best care possible while they are out of town. I understand that our pets are our family, so I do my best to keep the pets and owners as happy as possible and follow any specific requirements per pet. I just recently moved to a new area, so I am very open on my availability at the moment. I will update as things change and if I am currently pet sitting at that time, they will take priority of course and I will work out detail with you guys during that time. Please feel free to ask questions if this is concerning to you! My home is a little different. I express my cat Wybie’s bladder myself and change his diaper daily. My other cats get their little box changed twice daily. Wybie loves his automatic feeder while my other cats get fed their moist food once daily and have dry food as needed. Every cat is different and I’m up for however you prefer to feed your babies!

About: I am a big animal lover and have worked with dogs, cats, and horses. I have experience with dogs from all walks of life, from training puppies to caring for sick seniors. I’ve had many dogs in my life, each of which had a big impact on who I am today. I am dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pet, as I know all too well how important they are! I currently work a hybrid, mostly remote, schedule and have flexibility to care for dogs during the work day. I am also flexible before/after work hours. I take dogs on walks and runs as requested. I always keep dogs on the leash and make sure to assess the temperature and pavement for paws. I also make sure to adhere to client's requests when watching a pet in their own homes.

In My Home: I offer a calm, pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and fresh air. Pets in my home will be part of our daily rhythm, receiving plenty of love, supervision, and playtime—including access to a variety of dog toys. Since I do have a young child, I kindly ask that pets staying in my home are comfortable around children and do not have a history of chewing or damaging household items. With your permission and if your pet enjoys riding in the car, they may occasionally join me for a short carpool ride to pick up my child depending on the time. I’ll treat your pet like one of my own while keeping both their needs and my home environment safe and happy for everyone. We currently do not have any pets in our home.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was about 15 years old, among other animals for drop in care. But my passion is for dogs! My husband is a fellow animal lover and our one year old son is always happy to be around any kind of animal. We have two dogs who are dog friendly, they are still relatively young so they love to run and play but we have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for doing so! My husband and I both work full time 9am-5pm Monday-Friday but we are off all weekends as well as federal holidays so we are always available for your long weekend vacations! Our availability will run Friday through Monday because we are busy with work through the weekdays. We have a nice sized fenced in yard with a covered patio for escape from the sun but our babies love indoors! We have crate trained our dogs for when we are not home but we totally understand if you do not wish to crate your fur baby, we can keep them in a separate room with whatever comforts from home you wish to leave with them. We go on frequent walks as a family and love to sit in the yard and play fetch! Your fur baby will have a blast with us whether it be running around outdoors or lounging around indoors.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have one of my own, I am great at being active with them and would love to dog sit or dog walk for you. I have plenty of references, and would love to watch your dog babies and treat them like my own for how every long you need. I currently have a part time job that only have 4 hour shifts so my availability is very open and dogs wouldn’t be left along for more then that time! We have a big fenced in area for our dogs and they also go in and out with there wireless fence collars, but also walking them on a leash wouldn’t be a problem

About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love! My priorities start with my pet family, unless I'm taking care of yours. Then, your pets become my priority. I work from home most of the time and that allows me to have the ultimate flexibility in my schedule so that I can care for your pets as appropriate, on their time. I've raised my dog training game significantly over the past few years, attending regular sessions with my trusted trainer, Baptiste. Our work has focused on highly reactive dogs and also puppy training. Like kids, pets can do no wrong. I do not get upset with them, I just clean the mess ;)
