About: Hi, I’m Nakitta! I’m a dependable, caring, and fun-loving pet sitter who knows dogs aren’t “just pets” — they’re family members with big personalities, zoomies, and very important snack schedules. Whether your pup needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or just someone trustworthy to hang out with while you’re away, I’ve got it covered. I’m patient, attentive, and great at following routines, so your dog can stay happy, comfortable, and stress-free. I love getting outside for walks, giving plenty of belly rubs, and making sure every dog feels safe and loved. I’m also happy to send photo updates, because I know being away from your furry best friend can be tough (and honestly, they’re usually doing something adorable anyway). Why choose me? • Reliable and communicative • Friendly, calm, and patient • Comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities • Will absolutely tell your dog they’re the cutest ever Your pup gets love, attention, and care — and you get peace of mind. 🐶 I am a stay at home mom who knows how to manage time and responsibilities very well! I am always free and flexible. I can accommodate however you need. I have a dog of my own who is crate trained and suuuuper friendly, along with a kitty who just hangs out and does her own thing all the time. I can accommodate however you need.

About: Hi! I’m Evelyn, a lifelong animal lover and proud pet mom to three friendly dogs and three cats. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your pet loves playing fetch, going on long walks, or simply curling up for cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels—from tiny lap dogs to large, active breeds like Huskies and Australian Shepherds. I work part-time four evenings a week (Monday–Wednesday and Saturday from 4–10 PM). On Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, I’m home all day. For boarding, your pet will still have company while I’m at work. My husband is home during my evening shifts, so our home is rarely empty. We work together to make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, potty breaks, exercise, and love throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a fully fenced yard for supervised playtime and three friendly resident dogs who love making new friends. Introductions are always done slowly to make sure everyone feels comfortable. If your pet is crate trained, I’m happy to crate them when requested or if it’s part of their normal routine. Otherwise, pets are welcome to relax with us in the home. We also have baby gates throughout the house, allowing us to separate pets whenever needed for everyone’s comfort and safety.
“We've had Mark for 1 week now. He does his job really wonderful. It doesn't get more professional than that. We are so glad that Mark is running our Sisko.”

“I’m a healthcare traveler working in town for only 9 weeks. I needed someone reliable to walk my dog while I worked long shifts. Alyssa was wonderful with my dog, reliable, kind and available for last minute requests if I had to work late. She answered texts quickly and was wonderful with my dog and crazy schedule! Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve cared for cats for over 6 years, including my own six with completely different personalities, affection levels, and boundaries. I regularly cat-sit for friends and family, and I understand that some cats are full of energy and love to play, while others need a gentler, quieter approach. I’m experienced with special diets, unique feeding routines, and caring for injured or recovering cats. I’ve done TNR (trap-neuter-return) for strays, provided post-surgery care, cleaned wounds, and given medications via syringe. I obsessively keep litter boxes and feeding areas clean because I know it makes cats feel comfy and happy at home! I currently just moved to Utah and I have open availability! I have a pretty early start to my day so I can take care of your babies early on! I am very cautious and understand cats are all different. I’ve taken care of cats that live together but require separation. I’ve taken care of pets in homes with both dogs and cats that get along and that don’t. I know it’s important to keep the routines your babies have and I’ll strive to do so!

About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember! I genuinely enjoy their company! I am comfortable around all dogs, and I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. I would love to take your dog on walks, visit the park, play with them, take care of them! I am currently home full-time and am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. I am currently a stay at home home, so I have plenty of time to look after your dog! I am available Monday - Sunday for any hours! I have a very secure fenced yard. I am also able to crate your dog if you need me to. I have a very welcoming home!

“Maya F is a great and joyful person to be around. It’s our second time requesting her help and service with our two dogs, a 3-yr Siberian husky, and a 10-month-old chow chow. We love the updates and pictures of them. Feel free to reach out with any questions, she replies quickly and attentively. My two pups would miss you, Maya. Looking forward to our next adventure.”

About: I have had years of pet experience and have a dog of my own, I've learned to pick up after them, play with them, and how to calm them down. I also have saved my own dog from choking a few times. I care for most every animal and treat them kindly. I'm open to whenever is needed, just let me know what you need and I'll be happy to help in any way I can with your little fur babies. I offer potty breaks, feeding, and of course cuddles and pet play time, just let me know what they need and I'll abide by whatever they require.
“Kara and Lucy did so good with my dog! Ican’t recommend this Rover dog walker highly enough! it was clear that they are a professional, trustworthy, and experienced dog walker who truly cares about the dogs they work with. Communication was excellent. My dog can be nervous with new people, but they were patient and let my dog warm up to them. They arrived on time, followed all instructions perfectly, and made sure my dog got both physical exercise and positive mental stimulation. If you’re searching for a reliable Rover dog walker who treats your dog like their own, this is the one. I will absolutely be booking again and would recommend them to anyone”

About: *I currently have a 4 year old, neutered male, Border Collie mix* (If booking for 4 days or more, I prefer to bring him with me. If it's less than 4 days I can work with leaving him at home.) I've had dogs in my life since I was about 8 years old. My mom bred our dogs and I would help her. I helped to birth the puppies, feed and wash them, weigh them and track their progress, train and care for them. Since I was 18 I've adopted six dogs. One of them was deaf and blind when I adopted her. I've never been the first home for any of my doggos but I've been the best/most loving final home for all of them. I work part time and have plenty of time to spend with animals. I usually take my dog out for a stretch/potty every couple of hours and we walk at least once a day. I'm constantly looking for new parks and fun places to play. I have a three year old Border Collie mix that gets along well with other dogs and cats. The yard is fenced but there's no doggy door. I have some crates of various sizes if needed. The fur babies are allowed on the bed and all of the furniture at my house. I frequently pet/house sit for a Pitbull mix and she's one of my dogs besties. She has medication and a special diet. I've also frequently had my dad's dogs visit. So my dog is used to both having separate food and sharing in a communal pack. Whenever we pet/house sit we follow their house rules (i.e. - no dogs on the furniture or in the kitchen, etc). I'm trusted with keys to multiple homes and never stop by unless asked to.

Your four‑legged companion will be treated like family, with consistent routines, gentle guidance, and a safe, loving atmosphere. When your dog is with me, they’re not just being watched, they’re being welcomed! I send regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know your pet is safe and happy Because my home runs on a steady, family‑friendly routine, caring for pets blends seamlessly into my day. I’m already used to managing schedules, staying attentive, and keeping a peaceful environment — all of which help me give your dog reliable, loving care from morning to night. At my home I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to play and be active. I offer plenty of one‑on‑one attention, and a peaceful atmosphere. Dogs are supervised, kept comfortable, and treated like part of the family throughout their stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions exactly as given. I maintain the dog’s normal routine to help them feel secure; including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. I keep the home tidy, communicate clearly, and ensure the pet receives consistent, attentive care. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable while keeping your home just the way you left it.
About: I have had dogs almost all of my life, and I currently have 7 dogs. I also work for a pet hotel that has doggie daycare. I am trained in learning dogs body language and their physical cues. I also have a lot of experience with all ages of dogs, providing excellent care to all of them. I have some experience in training but only the basics. I love animals and would be more than happy to work with yours. I am a college student and part time pet expert. I always have time in the morning, and I usually have a lot of time during the day. Pet care for me comes first, and I am always going to put the animals in my care #1. I am happy to follow any instructions you give me, and I will always treat every animal with the utmost respect. I will always keep as much of normality as possible because I do not want to stress out your animals. I personally have a fenced in yard that my dogs play in, and I also take the younger dogs on walks for enrichment (and because the older dogs won’t go).
About: I’ve cared for animals, specifically dogs and cats, for over 15 years from puppies to seniors and of all sizes. I had my own sweet girl for a, too short, 13 years who was the light of my life! I have a large fenced yard and nice neighborhood for walks. House is fully pet friendly and accommodate various ages and sized animals. Currently have no other animals living in the home.
About: When people think of me, they think of animals. I have a genuine love for dogs. I have worked in a dog bakery, baking your babies special treats and can do the same per request while watching them. I have had all ages of dogs from puppy to geriatric and will give each one the care they need for the stage of life they’re in. I currently am home full time with my 2 small Boston terriers. There’s a fenced back yard to play in, a doggy pool and countless toys. I have a fenced yard for your pups to run around in or relax in. They can also stay inside if the weather isn’t great that day.
“Crimson is a natural with animals, especially Benji! Every time they go on walks and to the dog park, Benji comes back happy and energized. He’s even learning to walk better and not pull so much because Crimson is teaching him. Can’t recommend enough!”

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Arthur. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Arthur.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
