Shawna is amazing. She has a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, took my dog on daily walks on a beautiful trail, and let my dog find her happy place at all times throughout the day and night. She loves animals, knows how to serve their needs, and brought us relief that all was going well by sending us updates with photos and videos. We will be using Shawna again without a doubt. Thank you so much Shawna!

I wish I could give a 10 star! I am a helicopter dog parent. I will. Happily admit, I've left my dog with another lady who used to work with Rover who was excellent but I can say this without a doubt. My dog has never came home. So happy and energized realizing he had fun. He was exercised. He was spoiled with Amanda just like he is with me and that does my heart good. Amanda is my go-to regardless of the need. Thank you, Amanda!

Hannah has such a kind soul. My dog went over to her without pause. We got updated photos during her sleepover which definitely helps with the separation anxiety. I will always use Hannah as my go to dog person.

Wow! ……where to start? This was my first time using Rover in the TN area and she has def set the bar high here. Angela is incredibly responsive to any and all inquiries and was wonderful at sending daily updates with pictures of my baby girl. Athena looked so happy with her own little bed fixed up when I left, but more importantly, she was happy when I came to pick her up! It was easy to see she enjoyed her time there. Can’t say enough about her flexibility of schedule. You can’t go wrong if you are looking for someone to treat your babies like their own. Have already booked a return visit 😊

About: I have been a dog sitter/cat sitter, off and on for 20 years. I love animals! I treat and love them as if they were my own. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have plenty of yard around my home. I prefer smaller dogs, but I am flexible. Must be good with kids! I have a 14 year old who loves animals and can't wait to give them attention they need. I will be happy to come get your dog or meet you prior to watching your dog. I have a full-time job. I leave the house around 8, and I'm home most days by 4:00. My husband will be here to help out as needed. I will walk them, play and care for them as they are my own. I own a large crate so if you are crate training I can be consistent and provide that service.

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician so I am professionally trained to know how to take care of your animals especially if there is an emergency! I currently work full time at Lincoln Memorial University. I can only do weekends because of my schedule, but I can also see what I can do to help during the week! I do not have a fenced in yard. My dogs have been trained to stay in the yard. I have 3 dogs, they are younger and very playful. I also have 3 cats. Even though I do not have a fence, I can offer walks in the yard or walking up and down the road and put them on the leash while they use the bathroom. I have a whole room dedicated for the animals where they can stay unless they are kept uncaged then they can have free roam of the house.

Brittnay and her family took great care of our senior dog. They made him feel right at home. She sent pictures throughout the day, which was an added bonus. I would not hesitate to use her again.

Arthur dog parents share their Rover experiences

5.0 out of 5 stars

Amanda took exceptional care of my 14-year-old Labradoodle, Buddha, while I was away for a week-long retreat. As any senior dog owner knows, leaving an aging companion behind can be stressful. Buddha has significant hip issues and requires patience, attentiveness, and a calm environment. Amanda exceeded every expectation. From the moment I dropped him off, she treated him as if he were her own. She sent thoughtful updates, photos, and messages that clearly showed he was comfortable, relaxed, and receiving plenty of affection. Seeing him peacefully exploring her yard, resting comfortably, and settling in so well gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to fully enjoy my trip. What impressed me most was not just her professionalism, but her genuine warmth and love for animals. It was obvious that Buddha felt safe, cared for, and completely at home with her. I would trust Amanda with Buddha again without hesitation, and that is about the highest recommendation I can give. If you’re looking for someone who is responsible, communicative, compassionate, and truly devoted to the well-being of the dogs in her care, you will be hard-pressed to find anyone better. Thank you, Amanda, for taking such wonderful care of my best friend.
