I have 8 years of experience being a veterinary assistant and 10+ years of caring for dogs/cats of my own. I’m capable and more than happy to accommodate any special needs your pet may require! I have a lot of experience with oral and injectable medications. I’ve cared for pups that have had epilepsy, dietary restrictions, and anxiety or other behavioral concerns.

Amanda took exceptional care of my 14-year-old Labradoodle, Buddha, while I was away for a week-long retreat. As any senior dog owner knows, leaving an aging companion behind can be stressful. Buddha has significant hip issues and requires patience, attentiveness, and a calm environment. Amanda exceeded every expectation. From the moment I dropped him off, she treated him as if he were her own. She sent thoughtful updates, photos, and messages that clearly showed he was comfortable, relaxed, and receiving plenty of affection. Seeing him peacefully exploring her yard, resting comfortably, and settling in so well gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to fully enjoy my trip. What impressed me most was not just her professionalism, but her genuine warmth and love for animals. It was obvious that Buddha felt safe, cared for, and completely at home with her. I would trust Amanda with Buddha again without hesitation, and that is about the highest recommendation I can give. If you’re looking for someone who is responsible, communicative, compassionate, and truly devoted to the well-being of the dogs in her care, you will be hard-pressed to find anyone better. Amanda ws grey and the hole experience was perfect. She is so knowledgeable and even cleaned his ears when he was scratching them. Perfec t situation and she even picked him up and dropped him off saving us a lot of driving time. Perfect experience - thanks so much
Our Oliver absolutely loved his time here! They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even helping us out on very short notice. We’ll definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great care for their pets. They also have a fenced-in yard, so your fur babies are sure to have a great time playing and exploring!
This was my first time boarding my cat so I was a little nervous. Amanda and her husband took exceptional care of my cat. They sent pictures and videos and updates which I really appreciated. It eased my mind. And they even went above and beyond and made sure to spend time with her in the room to make her feel settled, and gave her opportunities to explore and feel comfortable. 10/10 would reach out to them again if I ever needed it.

Schedule
I currently have class sporadically throughout the week but my husband works from home and is happy to fill in any gaps I may be away from the house. We are both happy to devote weekends entirely to your fur baby. My husband and I can be available select weekdays and can be flexible around your schedule with a little heads up!

We have a large fenced in yard and two friendly pups of my own to keep your pet company. I’m also happy to work with your pup on training or learning new tricks.

A typical day
I have plenty of toys for your pup to chose from and am happy to set up some interactive ones as well. I’m also happy to playing fetch, take them for a walk/hike or just lounge around with them if that’s what your pup prefers! Teaching any pup a new trick is also super rewarding and a good way to get out some energy.
