About: PROMO CODE: $20 off for first-time Rover users!!! EMILYH23876 Hey there! My name is Emily, and I’m a veterinary student at LMU. I graduated from Auburn University as an Honors Scholar in Animal Sciences, and I have a variety of animal experience that I put toward both my pet-sitting business and veterinary career. As an experienced dog-walker and sitter, I understand that everyone's needs are different, and I am ready to tailor an experience for you and your pets! I offer dog walking, sitting/home drop-ins, boarding*, and additional services such as basic grooming and house-care. Although my availability has become more variable week-to-week since starting veterinary school, I always have a clear view of my schedule for the entire semester and will make every effort to fit your fur baby into it. (See the last paragraph in this section!) I am doing this job for a small source of income and also just because I enjoy being around animals! Animal care and intuition are skills I have always been able to rely on. From large animal practice to small animal practice, raptors and more, I have accumulated roughly 1000 hours of volunteer work in different areas before applying to veterinary school. Furthermore, I was employed in some of the best boarding and daycare kennels in Huntsville and strive to provide their level of excellence and precision in care PLUS the comfort of home at an affordable price. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I grew up with several pets in my own home. Home was the first place where I learned to love and understand animals. My family has two dogs and two cats back home. Waldo, an Irish Wolfhound mix and my best friend, lives with me in Kentucky while I continue school. I also recently rescued two ball pythons that are as docile as can be! About an hour away, my horse lives at my boyfriend’s “misfits” farm along with several other spoiled-rotten rescues. Whenever possible, I participate as much as I can with their care. With so many animals to take care of, we are always coming up with creative ways to suit everybody’s needs in an efficient and effective way. I feel that boarding in a high-volume facility prepared me for this! It's a whole zoo over here. I will care for your pets as if they are my own. My life will always revolve around animals, (despite my allergies!) With the experience and intuition I have gained so far from immersing myself in these activities, I can assure you that I will take good care of your fur-babies, whatever the task may be. I will go above and beyond expectations, to the best of my ability, in order to make sure your pets are happy and comfortable and that you come back to a home as good or even better than it was when you left it. Hire me and you won’t be disappointed! Tips are appreciated but never expected. I can be decently flexible and will try to work around classes! Please feel free to contact me and I will try my best to work something out! IMPORTANT: I am generally in class from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Harrogate, TN). We do normally have a (~hour) lunch break-- I intend on making daily (~10 min drive) trips home (Middlesboro, KY) to eat lunch and let my dog out daily (mid-day, varies by week/day, with the exception of occasional required sit-in lunches at the CVM) so, if your dog needs a mid-day potty break, this can best be achieved with boarding!! I also aim to make boarding my most cost-effective option (in most cases) because it requires the fewest trips! *See additional details about boarding requirements. I also aim to make boarding my most cost-effective option (in most cases) because it requires the fewest trips! When we meet to discuss procedures, I take thorough notes just like I do for class! When I enter your home for petsitting, rest assured that I will pay close attention to detail and take care of every task you ask of me to the best of my ability. I am not afraid to clean when I think it is necessary or beneficial, and strive to leave your home and anything I use in the same or better condition than it was when I encountered it. I will let dogs out to potty as directed and clean any litter boxes or crates at least daily or as directed. I will feed your pets with extra care and be mindful of their behavior and intake. Water is the most important substance for the body, so it is of top priority for me to provide plenty of fresh water and monitor water intake as well. I like to provide extra containers in case one becomes empty or gets spilled. Perhaps the best part about home pet sitting is your pets comfort and one-on-one enrichment. While I have had the privilege to work in some excellent facilities, I have also seen some pretty awful boarding kennels! I strive to make your pet feel as secure, comfortable, and happy as possible during my stay and will take the time to understand each one’s individual needs in order to tailor my care to them! From a run around the block to a nap on the couch, I aim to provide whatever will make your pet happy while you are away.

“Angela is very nice and my pup Callie was in great shape when I picked her up. The fenced in yard is great and there is always someone around to keep an eye on the dogs.”

About: *Currently away recovering from an unexpected surgery. Not providing care due to running on crutches at this time.* Professional animal lover with 8 plus years of pet care experience. I grew up with dogs, and I have had cats in the past. I was the primary caretaker for my ex’s chocolate lab puppy for potty training and tricks. I currently have a goldendoodle puppy who was fully house trained by 4 months old. He knows all basic commands, as well as some fun tricks as well. I am comfortable handling all ages of dogs, with responsible e-collar use or without and I'm comfortable with administering oral medications. Unless the age or health prevents it, I also enjoy long walks or hikes if the time and weather allows. I enjoy cats and will even feed your other pets as well (I don't do snakes!). I currently work full time (remote). I work Monday through Friday, generally 9am-5:30pm. I’m willing to do visits before work if they are local and visits after 5:30. My availability is open most weekends for daytime visits or overnights at your residence. If more than 2 night (or if on week nights) I will need my puppy to come too. He is kenneled and content on his own while I spent time with your baby, but he would need to join me for regular (separate) potty breaks and keeping his training constant since i live alone. I AM UNABLE TO ASSIST (unless house sitting) M-F 9-5:30pm. ANY DROP INS OR WALKS ON WEEKDAYS WOULD HAVE TO BE BEFORE 8AM OR AFTER 6PM. If your pet requires constant care on the weekends, I would likely need to bring my puppy, Scout, and would love to bring them for walks or hikes together if possible. Otherwise their time would be separate, with more focus on your babies during the time of care. If overnight care is needed in your home, I would need to be able to bring him with me unless advanced notice is giving to arrange a sleep over for him. (Can only find him care for one night at a time!)

“Sarah was wonderful with my little Waylon,I will definitely be using her again, and I would remend her to anyone. She kept me updated ,sent videos and pictures every day.”

“Tammy was great to work with ! Sent pictures throughout Coco’s stay. Long walks everyday and lots of cuddles. Maintained crating & Coco’s normal routine as much as possible. Will definitely use again in the future.”

“We were in town for a sporting event at the University of Cumberlands. Our Airbnb did not allow pets. Sarosh is conveniently located to the campus, so drop off and pick up were very easy. Sarosh was accommodating to our needs, took exceptional care of our Australian Shepherd (walks and picture updates), and is extremely responsive to texts. I highly recommend!”

About: My specialty is dog training and being able to read dogs. I am great with dogs of all sizes. I have been training dogs since I was 16. I can teach any dog to use the bathroom outside, to only play with their own toys(no ones shoes get eat up in our house), to sit, not to jump, to lay down, how to walk on a leash properly, and how and when to play. If you are having any issues please let me help you and your dog grow closer. I also do nail dog bathing but no nail trimming. I will also let you know if I notice anything health wise in your dogs behavior or demeanor. I am able to do most drop in during the but evening if you will be away for an extended period of time and you would like a person to house sit I can stay over night but have to be home by 8am for my at home work. If I already have dogs booked for daycare or boarding I will unavailable for house sitting. But I can still do drop in care or walks. Unless you are wanting your animal to socialize with others. I keep my animals and yours separate. My animals are all vaccinated and they are also chipped and have been registered as service animals so we have a daily routine in our home of training and focus time then also we do a lot of playing and running and then my animals have their alone time with each other where they can act rambunctious, and have fun. I tend to feel like a normal routine is best for over anxious animals and animals owners because this helps everybody feel more ease and calmer.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. My family, neighbors and friends have entrusted me to walk, feed, and sleep over with their pets. I have trained my past 3 dogs since they were puppies to all behave properly off leash, and listen to all commands. My current dog has a set schedule we adhere to, which includes play time, feedings, and walks. Pet care is part of my daily routine as I have a dog of my own. It is something I am just used to now. We have a daily routine, and then throughout the week I will take my dog out in public with us at least twice to practice more training. I have a dog who loves to play that will keep your fur baby company. If need be, I can crate your dog as well. We have a closed in play area and a nice walking area.
