Loving house sitters in your neighborhood

1. Stacey E.
“Stacey is a dream come true to any doting dog mom. Some dog sitters just rush in and rush out without really connecting with the pups, but dog moms know that they also need love and attention in addition to basic needs. I was so deeply moved to see Stacey spending extra time with them, loving them, and interacting with them the way I would. I am beyond thankful to have found her on Rover and highly recommend her to anyone. Bonus … she went above and beyond with other little activities around the house like checking the mail and cleaning the bunny’s litter box. She cared for our home and pets the way a friend or family member would. Thank you Stacey!!”
2. Erin S.
“Erin was wonderful. She went above and beyond in every way, kept us informed, and took great care of the house. Our puppy was 6 months at the time of the vacation, and Erin did great with all of them. I am sure they will all be so happy to see her again!”
3. Ashlyn Z.
“I couldn't be happier with Ashlyn watching my pets! My dogs seemed so relaxed and content when I got home. My cat is always stressed when we return from vacation, and she was so happy spending the weekend with Ashlyn, it seemed like we never left. I was especially impressed when she was able to give antibiotics to one of my dogs at the last minute. Her flexibility and care were truly appreciated. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter.”
4. Crissy S.
“Highly recommend. Our dog had double ACL surgery about 4 weeks ago. We hadnt left her alone for more than 30mins. We needed a couple of nights out of the house since we hadn’t done anything since her surgery. Crissy was the perfect sitter. She came to our house and gave all the love and attention that our recovering pup needed.”
5. Ellie V.
“Ellie was wonderful to work with. She offered up a meet and greet before sitting for Annie. She was prompt and took care of our baby well. I highly recommend her”
6. Kristy F.
“Kristy Petsat my 2 month old puppy for 9 hours while I was at work. She was easy to get a hold of all throughout the day and took wonderful care of Pooka, cleaning up a few accidents, taking her on potty breaks, and staying around the house so she didn't have to be in her kennel for long periods. She even said Pooks played with her and got tired out, which is amazing because she's still quite skittish around people. I couldn't be happier with the care and highly recommend Kristy.”
7. Caitlin M.
“I can't say enough wonderful things about Caitlin! My pup hurt her leg before our trip and Caitlin was super flexible and helpful. She kept me updated each day! We feel lucky to have found Caitlin and will definitely be asking her to watch Luna again!!”
8. Shaun W.
“Shaun was great. Very responsive. Sent a lot of photos and videos so I knew my dog was well cared for. I’d use him again in a heartbeat. Kris”
9. Kayla H.
“Kayla was a joy to work with!! She cared for my older dog amazingly -- even with the last-minute medication, different food, and travel delays! My place was so clean and she even left a recap note. Definitely plan to book again!!”
10. Jonathan C.
“Jonathan was phenomenal! I use sitters a lot for work and don’t say that lightly. Ellie was nervous upon meeting since I didn’t introduce her (another sitter cancelled last minute). He waited patiently for her to adjust and she loved him! He also stayed later with her when my flight was delayed. I’m so grateful he was available. He sent videos and photos so I knew she was well cared for. I’d recommend him for your next stay and would use him again!”
11. Haley K.
“Super communication and care of the pups! House was calm and clean when we returned. We were able to travel with an eased mind while she was there.”
12. Bree M.
“Bree was awesome! She sent pictures of Abbey while we were away. Came home to a well taken care of home! I would highly recommend Bree! It was our first time leaving our pet and home to someone! But loved it! Abbey was happy and our home was taken care of. Bree was so respectful of our home!”
13. Olivia N.
“Amazing caretaker. She went above and beyond to ensure my pets were taken care of. My dog had a cough and she took him to the vet and kept me updated every step of the way. Would recommend her to any pet owner!”
14. Lori B.
“Lori was great! From our first meeting, I could tell by her calm demeanor she would be great with the dogs. I also asked a neighbor of mine who is a client of Lori's and she was very happy with her. Lori stayed at our house for 3 nights and was very communicative--shared lots of photos and was very responsive and flexible--we had to cut our time short and she was great about it. The dogs were loved. She walked them and I could tell spent good time with them. The house was clean when we returned. I would use Lori again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Lori!!”
15. Ilana B.
“Ilana is a great pet sitter and animal caregiver. I trusted her to watch my cat recently and she did a wonderful job! Ilana is respectful, kind, and responsible. She has been both a dog and cat owner. She loves all her pets deeply and would care for others’ pets with that same attentiveness. -Cathy W.”
16. Elizabeth W.
“Elizabeth is my go to for my cat Selma! She is wonderful and has stayed with Selma numerous times. I hate to leave Selma when I travel but I know she is in great hands.”
17. Evan B.
“We loved having Evan stay with our dogs over the weekend. He was very good with communication and we can tell they enjoyed his company. Definitely would recommend!”
18. Lily M.
“I would give Lily 10 stars if I could and highly recommend her services. Lily was flexible, prompt, trustworthy and most importantly she knows and loves dogs. She stayed two nights with our two, large shepherd mixes, going above and beyond our (and our dogs') expectations. During her stay she was communicative and sent photos which perfectly captured our dogs' personalities -- and immediately showed us they were comfortable and happy. When we got back home we saw she had left us a note, along with a vase of flowers and a framed picture she had taken of our dogs, outlining what their days were like while we were away. Amid detailing meal times, naps and games of fetch played, Lily shared noticing our older dog seemed to feel uneasy one evening while it briefly rained, so she read aloud to him since that always calmed one of her family dogs growing up. This interaction is just one of many that exemplify her thoughtful caretaking, ability to understand and recognize behavioral changes and needs, and genuine love for pets. All of which just so happen to be key qualities for a truly great pet sitter in my opinion.”
19. Norman M.
“Norman was wonderful with our dog, Remy! Remy gets some separation anxiety when we’re gone and Norman was so patient and understanding with him. Great with communication and keeping us updated as well :)”
20. Andrea V.
“Andrea was fantastic! Very punctual and responded to communication right away. She did a great job with our Yorkie and they immediately had a connection. Andrea is very sweet and kind, and her love for animals is apparent. We will definitely be having her back to watch our little prince again!”
