“Candice was wonderful!! She took great care of our cat Josephine while we were out of town. She even brought in packages off our front porch and waded through a foot of snow in our unplowed driveway. Can’t recommend her enough and we will definitely use her again!! 🐱🐱🐱🐱”

“Nicole took great care of our cat while we were away! She was very flexible, easy to communicate with and made sure to give us updates along the way. We would definitely recommend!”

“Dakota is a lovely and attentive caregiver. My older lady cat needs a daily visit and Dakota was thoughtful and great in her communication. Odie was much more happy and relaxed when I returned. Will definitely work with Dakota again!”

About: I have worked with herding dogs, guard dogs, sled dogs, service dogs, and pets of all ages. I treat dogs with patience and compassion and believe in training the individual dog in front of me with their owner’s goals at the forefront! I have thousands of hours of hands on experience and countless hours researching training and animal behavior. I am a self-employed artist so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to go into more detail about my living habits and daily schedule. My dog doesn’t “get into” anything he shouldn’t— including “stealing” his own food and treats, but through experience with my own puppies and client dogs I am well versed in taking extensive precautions to ensure the safety of animals in my home. I will not allow client dogs off leash but I have a 50 foot leash that is excellent for hiking with dogs. I am very observant of potential health issues/injuries. I am happy to expand upon the safety measures I take.
“Excellent communication and very thorough during first meeting - even remembered to ask about medications (good thing since I neglected to mention it). Happy cat & guinea pig upon our return. Will definitely book again!”

I can always take your pup for a midday walk, as long as it’s planned ahead of time. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own pet. I will adhere to a feeding/walking schedule that is customized to your pets needs.
“Cheyenne was prompt, flexible, communicative and compassionate and took care of my Indigo and Remy beautifully while I was away! I felt a peace of mind and at ease with her knowing her experience, and Remy felt almost immediately comfortable in her presence, which speaks volumes since he can tend to be skeptical of strangers. I would absolutely keep Cheyenne in mind for future sits!! Thank you so much, Cheyenne!”

I usually bring my little tuxedo cat with me on trips if it’s an overnight, but if you would rather me not, we can always work something out and discuss our options! (:

About: I have lived with dogs for all my life, friends, family and neighbors have trusted me with there animals. They trust me to feed, walk, and care for them for weeks at a time. I have had puppies to old dogs that have all live long happy healthy lives. I am currently a student at the culinary institute of America, I am Available every morning for walks and care. I am available on weekends as well. I am comfortable driving animals, I grew up with dogs and love meeting new people. About: I've trained two dogs that I got when they were puppies. I currently have 1 dog and many chickens. I've watched dogs and cats in the past. I've also had cats, hamsters, fish, a rabbit, birds, guinea hens and chickens. I currently work from home most days. When I don't, I'm not gone for long. I prefer to be home if I'm pet sitting and that changes from time to time. My yard is fenced and blocked off on two sides. There is a field behind the house that's usually grass that's usually too tall for domestic animals to go into.
About: I adore animals. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. When I did not have a pet of my own I always have asked friends and family to take care of their pets when in need. People have always relied on me with their animals as they know I show love and I am very attentive. I have mostly trained my young puppy who has a lot of energy, with the help of a few wonderful sitters. I understand behavioral training, being kind but firm. Teaching with kindness and showing the animals the way rather than teaching in fear. I give a lot of attention and am able to read their body language well. I work freelance so I am available intermittently. But when I am available for sitting I am present to give the animal full time care, so if you have an animal who has separation anxiety and doesn't I take the dogs out first thing in the morning for an hour sometimes even 2 hour run in the park. a few small walks in the day and another longer walk or run in the afternoon. I also love to take the dogs on hikes. I do not have a crate as I did not do crate training with my dog but if you want to provide one I am happy to. My apartment is puppy/dog proof. I have a big yard although it is not fenced on one side so I always watch the dogs when I am out there. I have a nice big dog park near my place. I am currently working freelance, as previously mentioned. Reach out to me and I will tell you when/if I am available. I really enjoy animals company and I work in the city so this is something I like to do when I am home in Hudson and not working. I do allow my dog on the bed and couch in my own home, but I do encourage him to sit on his own bed. I can follow any rules that you wish that aligns with you and your pets needs.
