About: I'll provide constant supervision of your pet. I enjoy interacting with animals. Although I am not a professional dog handler I have had a dog in the house for the past 12 years. I will do my best to provide competent care for your pet. I am currently retired from the Columbia County jail, after completing 23 years. I am a Navy veteran. My wife and I have twin boys who are all grown up and out of the house. As a result of this I have become a little bored. I would appreciate your consideration when deciding on who to entrust the care of your pet while you are away. You will be able to be rest assured that they are being taken care of. I am usually available all the time except for the occasional vacation I might go on. Weekends are no problem either. I am pretty much available year round. I like to hang out with my dog all day. Adding more animals to the mix is no problem. I like taking walks with them and I also have a fenced yard.

About: There is no animal that isn't my friend. I've been a dogwalker for the last year on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and am looking to continue dogwalking services for the Hudson area. I have been taking care of cats both professionally and in my own home since I was a small child, have administered various medications, seen to animals with special needs, puppy care, kitten care, you name it. We had an overnight visit for a test run, preparing for a longer trip coming up. It went very well!!! She sent several pics and updates so I could see how Olaf was doing, and it was very reassuring. It was clear when I picked him up how comfortable and happy he was with Stephanie. I am very thankful to have found her and have already booked Olaf's next stay!!”

“Samantha and her partner Zachary took fabulous care of our two dogs for three days. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs?
