Their set up is home-based and limited in numbers of dogs they accommodate at any one time. They have routines that make the dogs feel safe and comfortable. And they communicate daily about happenings and how the dogs are doing. We are boarding again soon and I have the feeling that our pup will be excited to go back to Kimmy and Michael's.”

It was very hot the week that Cody was staying with Candy; she still found ways to entertain and make comfortable Cody and his new friends. Cody is a major water dog and really enjoyed his time in the Bayou, not to mention the boat ride. Thank-you Candy for taking such good care of my baby and helping me to have a good vacation just knowing how much you care about the pooches that you are caring for. About: I’ve had multiple dogs growing up as well as lots of other animals! I often dog sit for my siblings and love having them. I like my home to feel like their home with little adjustment. I work at 5 am and come home for lunch and am back home by 12 and am home for the rest of the night. I live right by my job and they are very flexible with me. I love being home in the evenings and having someone to take walks with is ideal! My apartment is open to pets, furniture included unless specified. I will happily keep pets off your furniture if needed. I take regular walks with a leash for exercise to make up for the lack of hard at my house.

About: I've been blessed to foster more than 20 dogs over the past couple of years. I know training basics, have a big backyard, and currently have two of my own dogs who love to play. I am currently not working so I am free the majority of the time. This allows there to be little to no crating required during the day. I have a large fenced in backyard for free play and zoomies. Inside I have dog beds and toys and a lap for cuddling. My two dogs are friendly and have had plenty of exposure to other dogs through my fostering.

About: I've been in love with animals all my life. They were deep childhood friends and I feel a special bond with them. I grew up on a hobby farm and in 4-H. I am now a retired RN, and I'm enjoying being surrounded by animals again. I have taken care of domesticated cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and gerbils, guinea pigs, and birds. Any animal needing help or love grabs my heart. It is my goal to give this love to your cherished companion when you are gone. I also know how hard it can be for you to be separated from your pet, and am very conscientious about sending updates, pictures/videos and communicating anything else that needs to be communicated. I am working part time, and have afternoons, evenings and weekends available. I am hoping to build up a regular client base and have more time available soon. I live in a small home so I prefer to take care of your loved ones in your home. I am able to overnight: house-sitting, cleaning, and pet-sitting. I have plenty of time for walks, check-ins, and play-time on the days I am working, and welcome all-day care in your home on my time off. I am situationally aware and keep an eye on the environment at all times when walking your pup and playing, as well as on any potential escape routes or hazardous items if eaten or drunk. I am very respectful of your pet's space and routine and take my time to sense in to what will make them feel the most loved, the safest, and the most comfortable while you are gone. I am a reliable communicator regarding anything with your home or your pet that would require your attention.
