We received cute photo updates of her cuddled on the couch, sunning on the patio, playing with their dog, and enjoying evening walks. We even had a couple of meet and greets to discuss my dog’s personality ahead of the trip and to ensure my dog got along with his animals. About: One of my favorite times of the day is the quiet morning walks with my two pups. Besides my own fuzzy babies, I have experience fostering many types of dogs and cats throughout the years. In college I worked for a pet sitting service. I am also CPR certified for cats, dogs, and humans alike. Rest assure your pets will be taken care of like my own when you are away. I am currently homeschooling my daughter, so early mornings and late afternoon/evenings will be when I am typically available for drop-ins and walks. My schedule is typically more flexible on weekends and holidays. The pups I board will have lots of attention from myself and my daughter throughout the day. I will making sure all doors and windows stay locked. My backyard is fully fenced in. Safety is always my number one priority. On walks, your dog(s) will always be leashed. They will get clean, fresh water at all time. I will clean up after your pets immediately, wash any pet-related dishes or bedding before you return.

“Heather responded quickly to questions and kept me updated on my dog's visit. The initial meet and greet went well and my dog got along well with her dog which was good. Sampson seemed very comfortable and happy when we dropped him off and picked him up. I felt comfortable that she would watch and care for the same as we would. I give her a 5-star rating for the visit and plan to book again if she's available.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for a very long time you can even say my whole life. I’ve raised cats, dogs, birds, chinchillas, even a chameleon from babies to adults. I’ve potty trained many puppies, taught them tricks, and even cared for pregnant mommas with puppies. Cats are more of my specialty though i’ve litter box trained them, taught them to walk on a leash, tamed feral cats/kittens. I also volunteer from time to time at the Acadiana Animal Aid shelter helping care for cats/dogs in need of homes. I’m currently working full-time. I work an 8 hour day normally from 8 am - 5 pm, my hours are flexible though. I also have a 1 hour lunch I can take. I’m completely free most weekends. I have a mostly fenced yard where my dog Huck loves to play, it is a little small but we make do with the space we have. My dog and cats gets fed twice a day morning/evening. If I’m caring for an animal in a clients home I can visit in the mornings/lunch/evenings depending on the care needed.
