Once meeting Sore I felt completely at ease, leaving cowboy with them.. I received updates, with pictures every day to see my boy was doing fine. About: We love dogs! But right now with 7 kids in the throws of school and all the extracurriculars, it’s just not the right time for us to have our own furry family member, so let us love on yours! My husband and I each had dogs growing up and we had a family dog until he passed away a few years ago. We have been boarding, walking, and doing drop-ins since that time. From puppies to senior dogs, we can take care of them all. I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools my 7 children, so we’re home the majority of the time and will be able to fit in your dog’s regular schedule into our every day routine. When pets stay at our house we do our best to keep the same schedule and expectations the dogs have come to know at their homes. I enjoy going for walks at the park and visiting the dog park with dogs who are accustomed to it. We do not have a fenced yard, so I make sure each pet gets adequate exercise each day on a leash. When I come to your home, I will follow your directions exactly as you desire and provide pictures and GPS “walking time cards” via Rover so you can be assured your pet is receiving the high quality care you paid for!

Their safety and happiness is my number one priority. I will give your animal all the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away! As a former Zookeeper and current Veterinary Assistant, I know the hard work and dedication it takes to take care of animals of all sizes and shapes. I currently have three French Bulldogs that get along with any dog and are always down for a puppy play date. If you are looking for dog boarding in my home your pet must be pet friendly because of this, up to date on vaccines, and a meet and greet will be required before hand. If you are only looking for drop in visits or dog walking they will stay home and a meet and greet will not be required. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me. I work overnights on the weekends so I’m completely free during the week. If your pet is staying during the weekend my partner is free while I’m not home to take care of our furry guests! I’ve raised a dog from puppyhood and adopted and cared for a senior dog, so I’m comfortable with every stage of life. Over the years, I’ve been a repeat dog and cat sitter and walker for countless friends and family—including house sitting for over a month. I am also a Doctor (resident physician) at Baptist Health, so responsibility, attention to detail, and caring for others are a big part of my everyday life. I specifically offer Rover during lighter months when I’m home most of the day; when I do go into work, I’m typically only away for 2–3 hours at a time. I’m comfortable with medications and detailed care instructions, attentive to when something seems off, and calm in unexpected situations. One of my closest friends is also a veterinarian, giving me a trusted resource when needed. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and treat other people’s pets the way I’d want someone to treat my own. If you furry friend stays with me, they will also meet Zeus, my 10-year-old neutered pug and professional co-pet-sitter. He loves dogs and cats, has helped me host many pets over the years, and mostly just does his own thing while providing some quiet companionship. My mom also lives only five minutes away and has a large, beautiful fenced-in yard that we can visit for some extra space to play and explore. At home, my calm senior pug Zeus is around for company but is very content to do his own thing. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of their space and prioritize keeping their normal routine. I will also send plenty of photos and updates so you always know how they’re doing!

I have two sweet dogs at home, a two year old bichon poodle mix 12 lb (Lulu) and an 11 year old Australian Shepard Husky Mix (Mav) that wouldn’t hurt a fly but still loves to throw a toy up in the air when he is excited! I feed the dogs separately and keep a close eye because maverick loves to snag a bite of Lulu’s food when she gets distracted.
